Three or four have stood the test of time. Though newcomers join the business, The results remain steadfast. The best result, haircut, will be from the owner; she is very good. I had gone here once before with very positive results and was happy to be a repeat customer. I went in the mid-afternoon midweek as a walk-in, fully prepared to wait. Unfortunately, I wasn't prepared for a complete lack of customer service. An ominous handwritten sign greets customers on their door which states that they might change their hours and close at any minute due to being short staffed. Okay, I get it. Nobody wants to work post-COVID. But when I walked in, there were 2 stylists cutting clients' hair and a couple more in the break room. No greeting and no sign in sheet at all. Okay, they are short staffed and I am a walk-in so I thought to wait a couple minutes. The 2 stylists purposefully ignored my presence. No, "we're not taking walk-in's". Nothing. Just pretend there is no potential client (interesting business strategy!). After about 7 minutes, a young gal walks in with a goody bag, throws it down in front of me on the front desk, starts talking to her coworkers & ignores me even though I am 1 counter length away from her. Then another young gal saunters out of the break room, looks past me to tell another client that her stylist was ready. Finally, she turns to me and I ask her about a hair trim. Her answer was the cherry on the worst customer service experience of my life: "I can cut your hair but only straight. I don't do layers. I can't trim layers. I could only trim straight around, maybe". So what was she planning to do? Put a bowl on a customer's head and cut straight around?! This gave me the impression that not all their stylists are fully licensed. If you are the type of person who enjoys having your hair trimmed in 1 direction only and only 1 layer, and no customer service, this is definitely the salon for you. read more

I asked for a quarter inch trim and the lady gave me unwanted, hideous, choppy layers that were uneven, which ruined my hair. The next day, a different lady touched up my hair so it was even but it is still hideous and unfixable. I was also promised that she would tell the boss then call me and give me a refund; that never happened. One photo is from the first lady (purple hair and plugs at the time) and the second is after it was "touched up" UPDATE: My sister also went here and asked for her to be dyed light brown.... they dyed it BLACK..... BLACK!!!!!!! And she's a blonde!!!!! She came back the next day and complained about it...... they made her PAY to get it lightened...and still not what she wanted..turned red.... Stylists were berated by the boss while they were working with clients. It was not reserved about scheduling and procedures in the salon but personal degrading of the stylists and others. The boss Andria who the stylist said is also the business owner does not control her vocal explosive anger in the salon to set a good example for her staff. Honestly would give 0 stars if I could and if you have Curly hair DO NOT GO HERE.! I really like the lady that cut my hair. But the owner of the shop has horrible service to her employees and customers and loves telling her employees what she wants them to do. why I would never go back. Why the lady is detangling my hair. Which has to be done before if it gets cut, she's half way through detangling my curly hair and says that they are going to have to stop working on me and let two other people go ahead of me and when they are done she can go back to doing my hair "cause it's taking so long" that's not the worst part. She brings up a brush and ask if I can detangle/comb my own hair cause it's taking so long and they won't be able to finish me in time. To cut it. Never in my life have a heard a salon that you go to pay for tell you to comb your own hair cause it's to curly and knotted we don't have enough time to help you. Straight wild I wanted to walk out would she expect me to pay if I couldn't get my hair cut idk but I know both the employees in that salon can do a better job then her running the show. I know SUPERCUTS wouldn't tell you to comb your own hair out. Def not salon material or jus maybe the owner is lost. read more

We just moved back to Clovis and stopped in to get a haircut using a coupon from ClovisCoupons.com. They are located in a large shopping center close to the Sierra Vista Mall. I was greeted by the owner, Andrea Kelly, and was made to feel welcome to entire time I was there. She was able to get me into the schedule right away. I received a quality hair cut and for only $10. I asked the lady Sophia for a medium low fade and the fade came out really high quite the opposite of what I requested! I will not be going back to this place. Today I went in for a hair cut and absolutely love Jackie. She's friendly, courteous and always does a great job. Unfortunately, today the owner was on a rampage. She publicly reprimanded two staff members in front of their clients. I tried to explain to the owner that her actions made for a very unpleasant experience. She did not seem to care and then punished a staff member in front of the clients. If it were not for Jackie I would never use this salon again. read more

I usually come here for walk in and luckily Jacqueline manage to squeeze me in to her schedule and cut my hair. One day, I was in hurry and doesn't have a choice but to go to this hairstylist, the one on the LEFT SIDE-CORNER ( if you're facing the main door). I went with her and sat on her chair while her not totally talking at all, she didn't even say hi, how was your day, what style do you want? I'm not looking for a conversation ( you know if a person wants to make a conversation) but at least be cordial and ask WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH YOUR CLIENT'S HAIR! None! I even waited a little bit thinking maybe she's still wetting my hair, combing my hair, until she's about to cut my hair. Then I initiated to say something how short and the style I wanted ( before it's too late!). She just said OK! I assumed and trusted her that she knows what she's doing. Again, from the time I sat down, the only word she said is OK. In approximately 10-15 mins my hair was done and was a mess!! I asked her if she's done she said yes, I looked at my hair at the back and it was crooked and not the style I'm expecting ( i showed a picture), I asked her to fix it and she fixed a little bit and when I checked it's still not nice. I was so disappointed ( and my face was flushing red, but I stay calmed and nice to her) and told her, I'm not happy and I told her I will have Jackie fix my hair. Jackie fix my hair but my hair end up getting shorter that what I really want because she had to catch it up. I assume hairstylist knows what they're are doing because they're certified and will not go for that job if they don't like what they're doing. But with this lady ( Sophia, finally got her name) feels like she hates her job! She wasn't pleasant and have this negative aura. I referred my girlfriend and told her this Salon is nice and reasonable price but I told my friend to look for Jackie. Unfortunately my friend walked in and landed with Sophia and same experience I had massacre her hair! She went back to Dandalion to have her hair fix there. They say, 3rd time is a charm!, but not for us! I referred a friend and they one day walked -in with his brother ( a special need, so he can have a decent but not so pricey haircut) but, when he came home he had the same bad experience and when he described it, unfortunately he landed with the not cool Sophia. Is she you guys' back up walk in girl? If she does, you're giving your First time client a traumatic experience. Is there any other good hairstylist there that we won't be afraid to try? Other than Jackie? i know Jackie is in demand and the chances of getting a service from her is slim. I came back again to bring my Special Need clients but Jackie can't ( no explanation) and so gave us to Sophia, either because she's ( Sophia) not doing anything anyway or maybe to give her a chance to earn too. My experience alone, didn't stop me from referring people, because I am hopeful type , but I got disappointed many times. I came to have maybe an inch trimmed off the bottom, I am trying to grow it out. I told the lady this... She then proceeded to cut the back of my hair off... it is ruined. Uneven, and once again short. It took months to get it that length and now I have to start over again. When I asked to have it fixed I was told they would be accommodating and set me up with an appointment then ghosted me. Now I have to find a stylist once again and pay for another cut once again to at least even it out. I am devistated that my hair is completely ruined. I will never go there again. read more

I love this place. Jacqui is a wonderful stylist. Got her info from a woman in a parking lot with a fabulous color, and haven't regretted it since. Very affordable and excellent service for cut and coloring. I have very long, thick ethnic hair, and I usually don't get my hair done by people who don't normally service my type of hair regularly. That's how good Jacqui is, and she wont change me an arm and a leg because of the additional time my hair takes. read more

Oh my gosh. I will never come here again for child to get a haircut. The lady was so grumpy and asked about the razor length 2 or 3? I said 3 and then she uses a 3.5 just above one ear and asks if that's short enough? I said I couldn't tell if it was too long until the top and the back and other side is done. So I politely say we will just go shorter if we need to once I see it and her response "no that will be time consuming". WTH! "I don't care if it's time consuming I want it right" she grumbles "it will be right". Then she whacks his hair way shorter on top than not Told but showed in a photo. Holy crappy customer service.
