The "designer" told me it would take 72 hours to get a rendering of our house because she was leaving for her weekend (it was 11 am) so it would be next Thursday because she "hand paints" the computer generated image??? We also heard her go on and on about not liking spicy food. If you are forced to pick your HOA colors from Dunn & Edward's please get paint from anywhere else! Clearly they really feel like they have you trapped with the crappy service and even worse business hours for people who have a day job.

She was patient in working with me to understand the "why" of her color presentations, made me feel secure in choosing something out of my comfort zone, brought us out of the past into a more contemporary palette, all while being humble and not pushing her preferences or agenda. We are pleased with (and relieved by) the results. Simply stated, if you want the best, use Dunn-Edwards products and go see Sydni at the Ray & Val Vista store.

I go down and they kept pushing to sell me FIVE 1 gallon buckets of primer instead of just ONE 5 gallon bucket. The price difference was over $150. They kept up selling and sticking to the narrative of not having any 5 gallon primers even with proof of me saying it is available on your website. I went to the Tempe store and they had it and sold it to me for half the cost because they were honest. Shame on this store with their Store Manager and Assistant Manager trying to rip me off. For something so simple (had the paint code from our new build) I would have thought this store would have been more helpful since our builder used them for all paints interior and exterior. Besides a lack of knowledge or willing to help, this sales associate didn't say hi or how could he help etc. absolutely mind blowing. I would hope someone from management would review the poor customer service that just caused me to walk out. I wanted a custom color that had been made by another company. Justin worked extremely hard on color matching my color and got it to the exact color. A young man, Carlos, came right over to assist me in selecting paint color swatches for a project at home. He was clearly experienced, and also put forth genuine care in his work. I brought the paint swatches home to verify they would work - yes! Success! So I returned the next day to buy the paint. That day, Carlos, again, was very helpful. Also, Cameron helped me select a paint brush. At the register, it turns out there was a sale, so in a happy surprise, I got 40% off the purchase! Woo hoo! Later, at home, I applied the "Duration" interior paint/primer product over a deep, saturated color I was trying to cover and was pleasantly surprised that one coat of the Sherwin Williams totally covered the old, dark paint.
