I knew there was a reason I would choose Lowe's or Home Depot over Sherwin Williams. Didn't even bother to say they were closing and didn't want another customer.

Their only offer was to give the contractor a credit for the cost for future paint but that's doesn't help the homeowner (me) who had to pay for labor to the sub. It doesn't help the delays caused to other trades and the cost of recovering the brand new carpet to protect it from a whole room paint job. It should not be the contractors job to reimburse me and wait for his money in the wash of future materials. This is poor business. They should stand by their product. They should reimburse of the cost with cash or a check. I called to speak to Matt but was left on hold. I've been in business myself over 20 years and sometimes you have to eat your mistakes. I'd love to hear from Eastway to make this right.

We were pricing, organizing items on shelves, and helping unload donated items. After the shift, I went shopping! There are so many treasures including furniture, dinnerware, tools, and even jewelry. If you recently moved or are just looking for something new, definitely worth a stop to see what you find. The popular items fly off the shelves, so a lot of it is just luck of timing - which makes finding something you love that much sweeter! Proceeds go toward supporting Habitat for Humanity's work, so you feel even better about your purchases. Highly recommend checking out the book store + coffee shop next door as well.

The handy man I use also purchases paint here, The only paint I have been totally pleased with is the Emerald but for the price it should be good. I planned on purchasing about 3 more gallons ( when it went on sale again) to finish up the house but will have to find another brand. I bought ceiling paint and it had a very strong odor that still has not totally dissipated and this was 4 days ago. The coverage was also bad which surprised me because the paint was nice and thick. I went to return it and explained I had bought it about a month or 2 ago and just got around to using it and they would not take it back. The girl I spoke with said she was the assistant and the return policy was 30 days and also too much paint was gone. I did about 3/4 of my ceiling and as it dried I had to keep going over spots. I changed rollers which I told her and it was still no better. There was more than 1/2 the gallon left but she never checked nor did she ask my name and look up my info on the computer. I am upset because now I have to search for another brand of paint. I guess I should not complain that is pretty much customer service anymore.

I am not exaggerating at all when I say dealing with BWH Services was the worst business experience…read moreI've ever had; personally or professionally. It was awarded the painting contract for our homeowners' association of which he was president at the time. Not only does the term 'conflict of interest' not exist in Ben Hamrick's vocabulary, his reaction when the issue is raised angers him beyond the point of civil behavior. I'm only giving BWH one star because it is not possible to give him no or negative stars. Pay close attention to reviews that mention his legal threats because that's his go to move when he's held to account. He's also quick to accuse you of threatening behavior, legal and otherwise. The painting itself was comically sloppy in places. Communication on progress of the work was virtually non-existent. Our Board had to initiate the final inspection process after not getting a progress update for months. Once the final inspection process was underway, he did address much of what was listed but, so much of that consisted inexcusable mistakes like missed areas and terrible overspray. We gave up before everything was addressed because weeks would go by without communication. And, when we did have contact, the excuses and accusations made the process unbearable. We complained to the Better Business Bureau looking for a partial refund but, that just provided BWH another forum to be unreasonable. No resolution was reached there. Ben Hamrick still claims he's willing to complete the work. But, his actions such as leaving the leftover paint at a board member's doorstep without permission say otherwise. I did the math. BWH had 286 business days to paint 17 modest sized units (over three weeks per unit) and never really finished and closed the job out professionally. All while accusing the customer of being unreasonable. My sincerest advice is to run, don't walk, to another contractor. I will share more details with anyone who would like to. It is important that business like this change their ways or don't get opportunity to aggravate more unsuspecting customers.

This table is so meaningful to me; it was a wedding gift to my great grandparents, and I was devastated when the marble broke. Thomas and his team not only helped me find a beautiful piece to replace it, but also cut the salvaged broken marble into four hot/cold plates, three of which I gifted to family. I was told the material was super durable! The countertop was damaged from day one. When I called and spoke with a rep I was told "that is not suppose to happen." Now the company is only willing to repair the damaged countertop which their installers damaged boring the hole for the hardware! I am not satisfied with their response. On top of that--their contractor that installed my tile backsplash damaged my kitchen walls. They tried to deny it telling Carolina Stone that the damage was already there. They are the one who put tape on the wall then carelessly ripped it off leaving damage which will need significant repair! This is unacceptable from a place of business to treat their customer so poorly!

While prices here are not rock bottom, that is not their goal. They do not seek to be the lowest price ... like big box stores ... but rather they want to be the full service option. For example, you need screens re-screened ... they'll do it. Liked this store a lot. Greeted when we came in, and loads of service people there to help you. Next time we're looking for a bolt or two, we'll be back.
