Parking is shared with other business. Location is right off poway road. Next to floaties and lumpia house. Went in on Sunday shortly after 10 and didn't have an appointment. Was seen quickly and my barber Henry gave me a great cut. Got a nice med skin fade. He always checked how I wanted it done and if I like how it was while cutting. At the end got a warm lather razer clean up. Got the hot towel and slight next shoulder massage. Great customer service from him and the rest of the staff. Good conversation and good people. My suggestion is try to make an appointment for a cut because as soon as I was done people were waiting. This will be my go to place now. Will keep recommending this place. read more

My sons and I have been coming to PP Cut 'N' Shave Barber Shop since Chris and Vee opened, and it's been our go-to barbershop ever since. Chris keeps me looking sharp every time. I have been coming to this haircut place every weekend since August of 2024 and have never had an issue with this place. From entering the shop with a hello to goodbye have a good day, the quality is the best from start to finish. To the point of actually inspiring myself on going to a barber school and learning to be someone just like these people that work here. Whenever I enter this shop I feel like I'm walking in to talk with friends and family. With that I'm looking my best every time I get a haircut here! read more

Great barber for kids with friendly staff and kid friendly waiting area. Frequent customer due to quality and value of services.

I drove down from Riverside and ended up finding PP on Yelp when my regular barber was out. Vee greeted me warmly, offered a water, and gave me one of the best cuts I've had. Worth the drive every time thanks for the great service! read more

Henry was my barber, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He's extremely friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about his craft. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and delivered a super fresh cut that exceeded my expectations. This will definitely be my new go-to barbershop, and I'll be referring all my friends and family here. Chris is the best barber I've ever been to! His communication, customer service, and attention to detail are top notch. Chris takes the time to give you exactly the cut you want and makes sure everything is lined up perfectly. I have a relatively long beard that gets pretty scruffy if I don't get trim it every couple months. Chris trimmed it up exactly how I wanted it, and made sure to clarify exactly how much I wanted taken off and not to go too short. Complimentary drinks and the hot towels and massage is very nice and relaxing as well. I'll be a life long customer, as long as PP Cut 'N' Shave is cutting hair, they are my go to shop now. read more

Vee is the best! She's the only person I trust cutting my hair and she does an amazing job! Price is fair and service is great. I will continue to get my haircut here as long as they're in business. read more

Still my favorite place to get hair tuned up, and besides the usual full service Vee styled my hair into Mohawk and I loved it. This is man is accused of going through Menopause and don't care, you don't stop playing because you got old, you get old because you stop playing, have fun is the name of the game. If you feel yourself worthy, splurge and get yourself a hot towel straight razor shave it's hella worth it imo, and I regret getting such a late start in the game. Make an appointment or walk in weekdays are a great option of your schedule allows and spread the word of this cool shop. And don't forget to tip service workers if you are pleased and can afford it. read more

The best quality haircut you can get. and with the great refreshment, beer or water..

**HIGHLY RECOMMENDED** Was driving by to get some Lumpia. Noticed PP Cut & Shave, a new haircut place a couple shops down. Wow they do straight razor cuts too (fades, full head, and beard/face). Got to try it. Was greeted with a smile and met Chris. He offered me a beverage and had a clean chair ready. Was looking for a mid skin fade. He took his time and was so professional. When he was done I was so happy. The next day I actually brought my son in to get his haircut. Another great job. If you are looking for an amazing haircut experience and you want it done right, go to PP Cut & Shave you'll be happy you did. Wishing Chris and his family only continued success into the future. read more

I just relocated to Poway. So I was looking for a new barber shop to get my hair cut. I'm glad I found this this because I was very satisfied with the result. I always like to ask the barber what they would recommend with my hair to see if they really do care. Vee took her time to offer some suggestions and she really delivered. I will definitely be coming back as a regular. The hot towel and shave at the end of the cut was a nice touch. It's a family own business run by a husband and wife team. So I'm very happy to give them my business. read more

Always an incredibly well done haircut. A true barber experience. Thank you Vee! For your consistent excellence!

First time stopping in and won't be the last! I received a haircut with Vee. She made sure to understand exactly what I wanted beforehand, and asked more questions during the cut to ensure I would be very satisfied with the outcome. She did not rush it at all and you could tell she takes pride in doing the best job possible. The cherry on top was the hot towel around the head and neck massage at the end. I left feeling like a new person. Highly recommended for a great cut! read more

What a great haircut and shave! I have tried a lot of barbers in north county looking for the best hot towel, single razor shave in north county. This is the place. The interior is a little basic and can use some refinement, but the real deal is the haircut and shave. Super hospitable, great barbers, and just a very thorough experience. The little extra touches like shaving my ear hair (ya, ok, im old) the three hot towel soaks, the face massage, the temple and hairline massage, the eyebrow, nostril and cheek clean up ... just so professional, thorough and well done. Only critique, I wish it were a little more upscale, just to match the indulgence and quality of the experience. But hey, it's not THAT big a deal, because my eyes were closed and I found myself somewhere between bliss and sleep... makes for a great gift to the men in your family read more

Excellent haircuts with amazing customer service. Very clean set up with games to keep the kids entertained. Highly recommended.

It's a Low key Gem on the come up. Awesome shop. Awesome cut. Friendly and professional. This place honestly deserves more reviews and customers. If I lived here in San Diego this would be my go to barber shop. The taper and trim I got was exactly how i wanted it. Hope to see you guys again soon! read more

Me and my son have been coming to PP since we moved to Poway earlier this year. Chris and Vee have both been really awesome. Chris takes care of my hair and Vee takes care of my son. It's so hard finding someone that cuts your hair just the way you like and Chris and Vee have been able to do that for us every single time we've come in. We've found our go to shop for hair. Thanks Chris and Vee. read more

My 5 year old daughter got her haircut here. The place was nice and clean. Vee took her time and made sure she was cutting it the way I wanted and made sure it was even. It ended up being great! I've been visiting the owners of this shop for almost 5 years where they used to work in Santee. They are so great, it is worth it for me to drive from Santee to Poway to see them for both me and my son. They do incredible cuts and fades, and the shave is the absolute best! The new shop is updated and very clean. They have snacks and drinks while you wait, and are very welcoming and friendly as usual. You can make appointments easily, or just walk in. Don't let the silly name fool you. One trip here and you will have your new staple barber shop. I can't recommend them more! read more

My kids always get the best haircuts from Vee & Chris! They looks so fresh and the shop is relaxing.

I've been here twice now for a haircut with a beard trim. Chris helped me out both times with excellent results. He took his time, was very meticulous, and made sure I was satisfied with the results. I highly recommend and I'll be back for my next cut. read more

The barbershop looks very nice and clean. I like a small kid corner in front where customers wait while their kids playing with the toys, very thoughtful. Chris and Vee gave me a warm welcome. Chris cut my hair very careful, he was quick and precise and careful at the same time. I really like the part where he put a hot towel on my face and give a massage on my shoulder. It feels soooo good and relax after a long day of work on computer. The price is very reasonable for the service compare to other places. read more

Chris and Vee are GREAT! It's super-easy to book an appointment online, and they take Venmo - two things that many So-Cal barbershops don't do. Give them a try - you won't be disappointed! read more

I used to get cut by Chris when he was in santee and when he moved and opened this place I don't mind the 30 min drive each way to get the best haircut I've ever had in my life each time. I've lived in Poway my whole life and I'm always looking for the best barber who I can cut my hair tailored by my specific needs. I stumped upon PP grand opening barnershop on Yelp. With a bit of hesitation and doubt, I decided to give it a try without much of expectations. BUT everything was way beyond what I asked for. Triet did a wonderful job with my picky haircut needs. They also put extra-mile effort for a quick massage and hot towel treatment for such affordable price.
