I cannot express how thankful I am for Dr. Wagner and the knowledge, guidance and help he has given…read moreand continues to give me. To give a little background, I swam in both club and college and eventually found my way to triathlon once done with my swimming career. Last year I decided to train for my first full Ironman and about 5 weeks out from race day, developed IT band syndrome, causing pretty severe pain in the knee while running. As a swimmer, I already knew a good amount about training and rehab but had no idea how that fit in a cycling or running regimen. So I reached out to Dr. Wagner and knowing I was on a short timeframe, he was able to fit me into his schedule right away. Dr. Wagner educated me on what the likely causes could be and how I could go about treating the issue and I am so grateful for all of the information he was able to share with me along the way. However, I am most grateful for the fact that Dr. Wagner didn't just treat my injury. I felt that he treated me for who I am and what my goals were and took all of those into account when evaluating the best approach to rehab my injury. Other providers would likely have told me not to race and to start full rehab right away. Dr. Wagner worked with me to develop a plan where I had the potential to race, depending on my pain tolerance and ability to perform without sacrificing form. Sure it wasn't the quickest way to recovery but again, he treated me, not my injury. I am happy to report that I was able to follow his recommendations leading up to and during the race and finished successfully. Once done with the race, I was able to jump right into getting it healed up and am hoping to be ready to go for next tri season. Fortunately, I now have a ton more information about how to successfully prehab and avoid any future injuries. Dr. Wagner continues to be an excellent resource and I highly recommend him if you are in need of a knowledgable and compassionate PT.

When I first started, I had severe lower back pain that spread to the top of my spine including all around my neck. The pain wasn't going away on its own so I needed to take action, and Angelo did a great job diagnosing the key problems, coming up with a game plan the first day I saw him. He prescribed stretches to do daily as well as going over what exercises we would do in his facility to help strengthen my back once and for all. He also broke up stiff muscles in the beginning to unlock my muscles and get the blood flowing again. It paid off and now I have much more flexibility than before. Everyone even says that I have gotten taller and this is due to the fact that my posture is the best it has ever been. On top of everything, Angelo is the nicest guy and the most seasoned expert I have ever spoken to when it comes to physical therapy issues. It is all because of him that I have gotten rid of my back pain, and he is so knowledgeable on everything. I recommend anyone with back or any physical pain at all to visit Angelo, you won't regret it! I am extremely grateful for the services he provided me which have finally beaten the monster of chronic pain.

He had a tent set up to care for the runners returning from the race. Loren, as he preferred to be called ,noticed I was favoring my right side and asked if I wanted a free evaluation. He found many of my back joints were misaligned causing the nerves to be aggravated. I set up an appointment and started to see him regularly. He's not your average "bone cracker." He uses muscle massage as well as traditional chiropractic methods. I was 54 years old then and didn't know how I was going to make it to retirement with my bad back. After just a few treatments most of my back pain was gone. He suggested that I start using my gym more regularly and gave some specified exercises to strengthen my core and quads. I had a few subsequent injuries on the job but he returned me to full strength every time! Well I made it to retirement at 62 and feel better than I did throughout my 40's and early 50's. I can't say enough good things about Loren and his practice and office staff . Kevin C , Weymouth . Local 103 ( retired)
