I know it is necessary to be on your stomach for long period of time as you were getting anything with your neck or back worked out by a chiropractor. But, Dr. Scott focused on the lower portions of my back, more towards my uncomfortable areas that had nothing to do With where the pain resided. Receiving care really helped Brooklyn with her digestion as an infant. As she gets older and is almost a year now, the visual impact to her demeanor is immediate. It's really amazing! When she gets adjusted, it's as if her body is able to calm down. She can go from squirming everywhere to completely calm after an adjustment! Her appointments have also greatly helped with her sleep. Dr. Amanda and Dr. Brendan are always so gentle with her and my husband and I are always a part of her adjustments which is a really comforting thing as a new mom! I ask a LOT of questions and it's so nice to work with doctors who never rush us or make me feel like they don't have time. They are truly WONDERFUL doctors and people. I highly recommend receiving care from them!!

As a student, the amount of time spent glued to a screen or book is off the charts. But this comes at a cost of my neck. After being adjusted by Dr. Amanda, I feel immediate relief and am very relaxed. She's great with children and pregnant women as well. Dr. Brendan's adjustments are amazing too, he is also an incredibly nice doc. They both just seem to know everything that's going on in the body, and that extensive knowledge separates them from others. As a side note, animals can be out of alignment as well, and I know for a fact that Dr. Brendan has specialization in adjusting animals. I highly suggest Seaside Chiropractic to anyone that is in need of a great chiropractor to help you achieve the wellness you deserve.

With a history of multiple concussions, my x-rays not unsurprisingly showed my head was sitting twisted on my spine and my neck bones were compressed together, all of which have been compressing my brain stem and blocking my spinal fluid from flowing freely. For anyone this could cause systemic issues, but for someone suffering from Lyme disease which infects brain tissue and the nervous system, it is especially important that the body be structurally sound so that information can travel along the nervous system in a correct manner and detoxification of the infected brain be possible when killing off an infection that resides there. I was hesitant at first to add another expensive treatment to my plan, but already my posture and walking is more even- I'm no longer dragging one side of my body. I've been extremely impressed by John's professionalism, knowledge, and dedication to his work. Even if you don't have a chronic or infectious disease, if you have ever had head trauma you may want to look up an Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractor for help with issues ranging from mental health to problems with digestion, energy, circulation etc. even incurable diseases like MS, Parkinson's, and especially nebulous diseases like Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue syndrome have shown improvement through this methodology. Do the research or just reach out to John for some information. There are a few chiropractors that take insurance for this work and John does not. This is difficult, so I would encourage you to do your research. That being said, I have been extremely impressed with his level of dedication to his patients and work to continually improve his knowledge.

He had a tent set up to care for the runners returning from the race. Loren, as he preferred to be called ,noticed I was favoring my right side and asked if I wanted a free evaluation. He found many of my back joints were misaligned causing the nerves to be aggravated. I set up an appointment and started to see him regularly. He's not your average "bone cracker." He uses muscle massage as well as traditional chiropractic methods. I was 54 years old then and didn't know how I was going to make it to retirement with my bad back. After just a few treatments most of my back pain was gone. He suggested that I start using my gym more regularly and gave some specified exercises to strengthen my core and quads.
