PowerMD is THE best place to go for a confidence boost! I've been going to PowerMD for years, getting laser hair removal and botox and this is the only place I trust. Also, I love talking with the front desk staff, who are so sweet, welcoming, and accommodating. I visited PowerMD last week after they opened up after COVID shelter in place regulations were lifted. I was super impressed with the safety precautions; efforts were made to have transactions contactless whenever possible, any surface that I did need to touch (which were not many) were sanitized before and after, all staff were wearing masks, and staff maintained physical distance except when the NP was working her magic with my treatments. I recently moved from Manhattan and I kid you not the person I miss the most was my aesthetician. I had 2 negative experiences in Marin before finding Power MD. One with a MD who bragged about his credentials, was overly complimentary then basically suggested I change my entire face, taking about 1 1/2 hours of my time trying to upsell me and another provider that wanted to charge $250 for a consultation even though I knew exactly what I wanted. I have been under the care of Dr. Power for two years now and no words can express my gratitude to her and her staff at PowerMD for giving me so much Dr. Power's knowledge and experience enabled me to gain control over my "naturally" declining hormone levels. Dr. Power and her team are AMAZING! I have had many services here and they have all been better than expected, both in the procedure itself and the results after. I first started with laser hair removal. Why I go here instead of a "groupon" deal is because they go over the area more thoroughly and there are very few hairs left behind. Most places do a sub par pass of the laser which leaves you with stray hairs, but at Power MD they are very thorough and I get great results.Their laser is really amazing as well; it has a cooling tip and is very effective. The second procedure I did was relaxer and filler. I had wanted Botox/dysport for the wrinkle in my forehead between my eyes. I had also wanted some lip filler but was scared of looking like a blow up doll. Dr. Power talked me through everything and not only did she treat the wrinkles on my forehead, she noted my concern about my eyebrows being asymmetrical and relaxed one so that they were the same! She is truly an artist and her work made my confidence go through the roof. Her lip filler was perfect too, I had perfectly natural, fuller lips without them looking overly plump or "worked on". Months later I had another round of the same products done by Anja, one of the nurses that Karron has meticulously trained to provide the same level of artistry that she does, and the results were wonderful that time too. My 1st experience at power MD did not meet my expectations. 3 weeks ago I went to them to fill my upper lip and forehead to remove an accumulation of age lines. After one hour of a very painful procedure and $1,550 later I walked out with swollen lips and numbness but a hope for improvement. Now 3 weeks later I see no difference in the condition of my face. I still have wrinkles on my upper lip and I still have wrinkles in my forehead. Further during the procedure, the technician used only 2 boxes of gel but I was charged for 3 boxes of the remedy. My upper lip is still swollen. I have a gel bubble under my lip near my upper gums caused by an injection inserted too deeply. I paid $1550 too much for pain and suffering with no results. I went to Karron for Restalyne injections to plump up my lips, quite nervous going into the office that day Karron and her Nurse answered all of my questions and put some numbing cream on me. I was totally anxious I might wind up with a "duck lip" and Karron assured me that doing that style of injection was not something she does, her goal is to make you look natural and how I wanted to look, and she definitely succeeded!
