Nice, courteous guys. It cost just under $1000. The passenger window was not reinstalled properly. We can't lock it. It was reassembled just as a down pour was about to start, which they couldn't help. Humidity seems to be trapped in it, as it is fogging up again. They were scheduled to come back today to repair it. They did not show up, & did not notify me they weren't coming, which cost me more money as I wasn't at work.

When I booked an appointment to get my air conditioning fixed I asked for a estimate and they said they would let me know. Dropped it off and asked again, they said same thing. That afternoon when the car was suppose to be fixed I called at 4:30 to ask and they weren't finished and asked for the estimate and wouldn't tell me until Monday. Monday afternoon we get a call and were told it's fixed. Under the consumer protection law (http://www.e-laws.gov.on.ca/html/statutes/english/elaws_statutes_02c30_e.htm#BK67) A shop may not fix your car until the owner of the car agrees to the estimate. They never told me! I came in and explained I was upset and the service was horrible I even said I wasn't looking for free ( also have a audio recording of the whole conversation) and told him I have no problem paying for half as this is his mistake and I asked numerous times. He then told me he would take the van if I wanted to and unhook it all but I have to pay for him to unhook it. After much polite arguing , we didn't get harsh he finally after 30 minutes said he would charge a little over half. Which we were fine about. I'm posting this as this shop needs to understand the consumer protection law, I could of taken him to court and not paid anything. But I didn't. Customers need to know their rights and not get bullied by shop owners. Own up to your mistake and meet the client half way . It doesn't need to be a struggle. What if I couldn't afford it at all? This is my regular repair shop and I enjoy their service. Yes they have had issues come up from…read moretime to time with delays on repairs but typically those have not been there fault, they've been things like parts not arriving when they were expected, etc. I've never had them complete repairs when I've asked for an estimate first and they've always been accurate when given. The folks there are always polite and easy to deal with. My only real gripe is the fact that they aren't open on Saturdays and due to my scheduling it's sometimes difficult to get my vehicle in when I need to but they do have a key drop box where you can leave your car and put your key in an envelope with instructions and they have always been decent when I've done that. I have no major issues with these people and they do honor their repair warranties.

I looked out the window after 10 minutes of waiting and I noticed the apprentice/mechanic was having issues opening my car. I ran outside asking if he needed help. He showed me my keys and told me he broke my house key while opening my car using my house key in the driver's side car door lock . The Apprentice at the desk got irate with me after I told him what happened to my property . It took me 5 minutes to calm down but he left my keys on the desk after telling me he's going to see what he can do about my keys. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! I called to get my windshield…read morereplaced and for convenience they came to my house to do it. The guys showed up an hour late and put their tools on the hood of my car - no towel to protect the paint we had to bring them one. They were in and out in no time and cracked my dash in the process. I called to speak with the owner the next day and he was out - they said he would call back. This went back and forth for 2 weeks before i FINALLY got ahold of him. He told me to come in so he could look at it - when we got there for our 10am appt he conveniently stepped out so we waited almost an hour for him to come back. He looked at my car and then told me I lying that his guys couldn't have done this. He told me he also owns a scrap yard and will wait for another car of the same to come in and he will take the dash from that and replace it...after arguing with him for almost 30 mins. He was so unbelivably rude and spoke down to me the entire time. This happened in April and i never heard from him again. This place sounds great because its cheap - its cheap for a reason. I will happily pay more money for a Speedy or Apple auto glass next time - I will never make this mistake again. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Stay away!!
