This company sent us the wrong tow truck after not listening to us over the phone the first time, driver comes out, is immediately told that it's not the right truck and won't work how we wanna load it. Instead of getting the right person for the job he got an attitude and started talking about how he's strong and big and has towed forklifts before he simply didn't have the tools for the job so we told him that. He then stated he's gonna have to charge us for coming out even though THEY sent the wrong truck. When he was about to get in his truck he said a few disrespectful things under his breath so I told him he wasn't gonna talk to my grandpa like that, he told me he'd beat my a** and got in his truck real quick, I stood up and started walking towards his truck when he floored it out of my driveway and yelled out the window that he has a gun and will "happily" use it. After this happened, we called Power towing and they blocked all of our numbers while we tried to get a hold of them. Horrible company, CRACKHEAD TOW DRIVERS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Can't recommend Power Towing highly enough! My brakes went out suddenly today and I called several towing companies nearby for help. Power Towing answered the phone quickly and I was instantly impressed by their customer service. The kind woman who answered the phone was so sweet and helpful and she had a driver on his way to me within a couple of minutes. I was so shaky and nervous because I almost got into an accident when my brakes failed, but as soon as my driver, JP, showed up, he instantly eased my nerves! His kindness and professionalism helped relieve so much of my stress and he went above and beyond to make sure I was all set. He arrived in less than 30 minutes from the time I called and worked super quickly to get my car loaded up and to the shop. Today we were getting a car off a transport semi and the car wouldn't start. It was a car we were not familiar with and quickly realized all the normal things we wiuld normally do wouldn't work. We were able to access the fuse box in the engine compartment but not the car battery located in the trunk. The transport driver was of no help. I opened Google maps and picked the closest tow company. Boy did I luck out. Nothing but great things to say from the friendly and efficient dispatcher (forgot to get her name) to our highly skilled and knowledgeable driver Joey. Joey knows his stuff. He quickly swooped in and got to work. He knew exactly what needed to be done to get the Jaguar started. He also gave us some good detailed information on what do if it happened again. We were on our way to NASCAR at the Phoenix race track when our motorhome caught fire. We called for a tow and even though we waited for over an hour and a half the gentlemen were so polite. They were very helpful and explained everything they were doing. They helped us get our coach to our nascar spot so we could get it repaired. My Dodge Ram was towed improperly by this co. J.P. from Power Towing #480-565-9315. I ran out of gas on the I17 - Southbound (by exit: 195A) of I17 - my vehicle requires transport - only by flatbead - not by traditional tow truck. J.P. first towed vehicle off high-way at low speed to get connection/and tow connected to how vehicle should be towed. Tempe Dodge (Eddie) in service documents in writing that the issues with codes to my vehicle are from improper towing - i have the docum in writing. Candace from office is rude, unprofessional - all i wanted was a refund of some of the expense for the towing as they after JP locked up my ABS sys and transmission/4WD - i could not drive vehicle even though he insisted that i should - do not USE this company - they are dishonest and will twist words of honesty to their benefit as if damage was caused to my vehicle - they would not pay. Luckily i avoided driving vehicle due to all the illuminated lights in truck - had i driven it per Eddie at dealership - the liability would of trsf from tow-co to myself. In this instance since i did not drive, no damage occured - so a simple thing of wanting partial reimbursement for customer service issues related to the experience/and reasonable care requirements of the tow - were not followed and caused addtl expense to the owner/myself of the truck. This company should not be trusted - buyer/beware before (hiring) this company to complete your tow - make sure they know how to properly tow - many new vehicles due to the wheel/ABS/braking/and tramission systems with locking up - require transport by a flatbead, and only a flatbead - they did not do this, and caused me to have to get a second tow expense from Nick at Power Towing & Transport, with a flatbead to take it to Bill Luke Dodge/Autoloop Tempe, AZ. Nick's service was exceptional, J.P kept saying he's done this 35yrs and always done it this way, my comment was accidents/and or freak/fluke accidents happen - my vehicle faced issues/damage and addtl charges of tow/and dealership due to their neglience of car of my truck, they will say - they listened to their recording - and twist the words. I'm not a mechanic, they are not a mechanic - so they should not make a claim to such, that will/or would dishonor the profession. I have it in writing verbatim - i plan to file BBB review, AZ state/regulatory review against licensing of company and possible small-claims court under principal/and point that they caused damage due to the trsf of my truck - but won't take responsibility. I was told to call tmrw and speak to John/Owner - and now i'm being gaslighted and smokescreened by Candace - and saying we listened to the recording and this is on you, meaning me - but the literature i have direct from dealership states the following: Dash lights on U1412, U140A, U1409, C0031-62, and C0034-62 - both rear wheels were going 9MPH, and front were at zero - this is was caused the error code/s to illuminate was from trsf or tow - this company operates without integrity or at least some of the employees do. Payton (Day Mgr) from company, and Nick/1099 driver - 2nd tow driver gave good service, and apologized for poor-experience with J.P.. J.P (causer of issue) and Candace (his accompliss) covering up - doing the right thing - to give a partial reimbursement for tow - for the extra they caused, due to first trsf by tow - long story short you have a newer vehicle - many of them require transport by flathead - instead of refusing the order, and passing order to next dispatch driver to whom had a flatbead - to properly make the trsf in a proper/way as designed with Dodge was not done here, and company wants/and takes no responsibility for - their tow-drivers taking utmost of care, and reasonable care - without further damage to a person's vehicle - if i had driven that vehicle from Circle K parking lot at 1540 E Broadway in Phx to my home in Chandler, i would have created further damage, in this instance it only needed code-resetting - but the principal/jist behind the story, don't trust them - don't work with them - as they don't guide themselves with true or integrity. I was anxiety ridden over the experience of being stranded on a why - pleaing for help for this to happen and occur, to take advantage of me during my point of weakness. I simply only wanted a $120 refund, but them getting the complaints from yelp, BBB, AZ corp commission and more re: licensing and them not taking reasonable prudent care of my vehicle when it was in their possession. i will take this matter so small claims out of conviction to the point, that no job big or small is worth - being dishonest, and that seems to be how this company operates, deflect responsibility and don't take ownership for wrong-doing'ings when they were the direct cause of the 2nd tow - and the possible damages that would have occured, if/i had driven it - i refused - and that was the best thing i could of done. Today we had my brother Buddy Bowman's truck towed. Chris showed up when we were expecting the towed the truck to arrive. Chris handled loaded the truck with with amazing skill. He was a pleasure to talk with and I wanted to let this company know what an excellent employee you have working for you. Today I had my truck towed 20miles, the guy who arrived to tow my truck late because dispatch said they had the wrong address, so I was waiting for three hours.. I asked the guy do I need to be at the location for drop off. He told me no, I call my mechanic to let him know that the guy was dropping the car off and when he get off from work, the car will be there. 4hrs later I get a call from my mechanic, asking me what happened to my sunroof its shattered and pieces of glasses in the car in a frame of the sunroof installed in the backseat. I didn't know what he was talking about because when my truck left my house the sunroof was in place, nothing was wrong with it.. I've had the same mechanic for four years.. I call the tow company to let them know what happened, and the dispatcher immediately tells me they're not responsible for anything that happens to my car. That was not discussed when we made arrangements for my truck to be picked up. No one told us over the phone this information.. so now I have a truck with a broken sunroof. To dispatch when I called in to let them know what happened to my sunroof kept telling me that they're not responsible and her guy wouldn't do that and not tell her. How else with my sunroof get broken when I left my car so the guy that picked my car up to drop it off to my mechanic my sunroof is fine it just don't make sense to me so now I'm stuck with some roof repairs and it's not fair at all. Please do not use this company to get your vehicle towed.. if I could give no stars, I will get no stars, but I have to give one star at least.. I spoke with another manager. He told me that he will look into it but I highly doubt anything will be done because both of them kept saying they're not responsible. read more
