Customer service is lacking While they were nice enough when I placed my nearly $500 order I have not heard back in almost two months. None of my three voicemails were ever returned. When I finally got hold of someone I was told they are swamped and will call me back. I wish I had taken my business to a place less swamped. read more

Many of the reviews nail it, but it's worth reiterating: Valerie delivers exceptional customer service by being solution-oriented and going above and beyond for any order. I had a hat that I needed simple embroidering, but it was during the holiday season and only one item. When I couldn't use my font, she poured over other options to recreate the closest approximation. For a completely reasonable rush charge, she was on the task and had it back to me over a weekend, just in time to deliver to my Secret Santa. It looked amazing and was well-received! This is the Little Shop that Can. I'll be recommending it to whomever asks me about custom embroidery. Especially if you're in a rush or have a one-off item, don't waste time with all the other shops in the area (many of which come up next to Power Stitch in the Yelp results) as they're likely to brush you off the way they did me. Do not use Powerstitch. I brought in bags to be embroidered and was told that I would be sent the artwork for approval prior to putting anything on the expensive bags. I was told the turn around time was 1 week. After one week I had heard nothing and called and left a message. I never got a call back. Four days went by and I called again only to find out that the embroidery had been done on the bags without my artwork approval and the final product did not mirror the image file I had sent. When I picked up the bags, the lack of customer service was appalling and the reasons I was given as to why she did not follow through on what she said she was going to do were that she was backlogged with 500 orders, that she didn't write it down, and that she didn't have the font I was looking for. Really too bad - Powerstitch came highly recommended through Next Door but my experience there was very negative and I would never give them any business again and would recommend to take your business elsewhere. read more

While tucked away in downtown Danville, they just imported an sophisticated embroidery machine from Japan that gives them capability no one else can match. I recommend sending them your custom requests and small to large scale embroidery requirements, they will not disappoint. read more
