I like most ppl called a mechanic I always take my car too. He said he was too busy and wouldn't be able to see my car till 1 week later plus I had to find and bring all the parts to get the best deal. Mind you this is my commuter car I can't wait 2 week run around get parts. So I decided to call around. 1st to see if the price was right. 2nd see if I anyone can do this the quickest. Need to get back on the road. I must of called 20 different places got all sorts of quotes but no one was legit in terms of parts being use and time frame. I was so tired and upset not having a car I might lose my job COVID and all. I was at the breaking point. It was around 7 pm I got a Call from Richard who I called earlier and he said he will get back to me. He explained it all to me and the time frame and the work and parts etc. He was the only one that spent time to listen to my concerns know my budget and time frame. It's like god heard my cry's and came through. It's truly amazing to know good ppl still out there and understand the struggles. I felt appreciate and he definitely showed empathy. I would like to say thank you for all that you have done. Richard took it to the next level when we sent me pictures of the progress what's going on with my car. He strives to communicate as much information as he can. So far I have told all my coworkers and family that needs any type of service to at least get a second opinion. I though I had a person I could trust who I went to for everything over the last 10 years have given my old mechanic soo much Business only to find out he really didn't care especially when I needed him the most. Bob had him drive it into the shop, opened the hood, looked over everything, threw a fender cover on and reached down beside the engine. "There" he said "that should solve your problem. Take it around the block and try it." When he got back, my friend said everything was great. Bob wouldn't take any money, just the assurance that if anything serious turned up, my friend would come back to Bob. The vacuum line had come off the fitting; any good shop should have found that in an instant. Needless to say, my friend still uses Lawrence Transmission whenever he needs transmission or rear end work, and so do I. Now I see Chris Spick, Bob's son who runs the joint. If you're having transmission trouble, take it to him first.

My new tyres got all worn off because of it and i got it repaced by Mr Lube and they told me its the balancing that he did not do why one of my type was totally worn off. He almost killed me and my family had i not looked at my tyre. I never thought it was worn off as it was new winter tyres i bought last summer. I know he will never accept and make excused why i warn everyone to stay away if you care about your babies and family! Shameless guy wont accept his mistake, mind u!

These guys have been doing it for years, and understood exactly why it happened, and described he error code, symptoms and conditions to me. Chris who runs the shop, is one of the smartest guys I've ever met when it comes to transmissions. He's a young guy who's been doing this since he was a kid with having a shop in the family. I know a lot about maintenance and cars and believe me, Chris knows his stuff. His prices are more than fair. And probably the best you'll find for a full CVT rebuild. I had to bring my original job back to him because the valve body needed replacing. He said no problem, hoisted it again, drained all the fluid, and swapped it out. This is a good shop and anyone who has CVT issues I recommend coming here before they inevitably blow up. At least the older Nissan CVTs which had a design flaw which mine had. Without getting into detail, it's one of the pullies that uses tiny circle bearings. The bearing design causes them to fail after a few years and thousands of kilometers. When Chris rebuilt it, they used the knew upgraded design which uses proper metal sleeves to reinforce the ball bearings. I've been back once already just to check everything out, and he did it for me no problem and no charge.
