It makes me so sad to even be writing this review, because I was a loyal costumer of Vince's for many years and it was so disappointing to get treated the way I did. At first I didn't believe the other people who were reviewing Vince here and saying "those mechanics don't even value their own life let alone a customers," but that quickly changed for me. This is sadly completely true. I can also very much relate to the person in the reviews who took his car to Vince's and left with a completely new noise coming from it. The break pads I payed a couple hundred for, that I was sworn to by Vince would last me for at least 6 months, didn't even last a full two. On top of that, when I came to pick up my car after hours and tried to reverse, a strange noise I've never heard before came from my car.. I called Vince right away and he once again promised me that the pads will last for the 6 months without any issues! Of course, I took it to another mechanic because I was very worried about the sound my car continued making, the one that started literally as soon as I pulled out of the Winges Auto parking lot. I was first told that the pads that were "supposed to" last me 6 months need to be replaced completely already because he has used the cheapest possible materials for them, even though I was definitely not charged "cheap" and it's barely been 6-7 weeks at this point, so not even 2 full months. I was then told that my callipers were not put back on properly which obviously damaged the flux line and when I phoned Vince to literally just let him know what they told me, because now there is an additional charge that I have to pay for that mistake, he became livid. The fact that I even told him I had it taken to a different mechanic already made him so angry and aggressive, before I could even finish talking he goes, Ok then take your business to them then! but when I was finally able to let him know what I've been told, he just started screaming at me right away saying to screw myself and go take my business somewhere else and that what they told me is impossible and I am stupid for believing any of it... I was speechless at this point. He then kept yelling, "HOW, Explain to me right now HOW?? How is that possible?!" Im obviously not a mechanic but a simple google search let me know that it's definitely possible to put callipers on the wrong way and because there are cars that have calipers that have specific positions for the brake fluid entry and the bleed nipple, it is much better to make sure that you install the caliper on the right side as this will allow the calipers to work at their best... At the end of the day, I think everyone should just watch out for themselves and be careful who you put your trust into, because no one else will do it for you. And I honestly don't know why anyone would treat their costumers like that, especially a person I've been going to for so long.. I honestly really liked coming there, even if I wasn't always happy with everything, I would literally go back just for Vince and because I liked him as a person. I was simply trying to have a decent conversation with him and he started yelling at me. I tried to figure the situation and let him know again that this is just me inquiring about what had happened when my car was in his shop and when I said the words "I was just trying to figure out..." he screams again "take your business somewhere else!!" DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Avoid it at all costs! They absolutely always have no regard for safety and the owner will try to scam you by damaging your car even more than before you brought it in. I have never been able to sleep silently since I took it to that shop so do yourself a favour and avoid it!! read more

I do recommend this shop. They are knowledgeable, experienced, honest. They say what the do; and They do what they say. = Professional.
