Their estimate also came in among the lowest and it was the most detailed explanation of what they would be doing. During the process they kept me appraised regularly and clearly about the many changes ( Not their fault - the guy who DIY-ed the electric in our house was clearly inept) Everyone who came to the house over the three week process to get everything repaired was polite and helpful. They definitely made dealing with a stressful situation manageable and the guarantee on their work gives me piece of mind. Highly recommended if you need Electric work! (BTW - The only negative review I can find is about a single driver, and not about the companies electric work. I was also told the backfilled dirt would "settle", and it sank further into the hole. Now there is a divot and the ground rod is exposed. Hired to add a ground rod. Guys showed up on time and worked quickly, though I did have to remind them to backfill the lawn properly (initially just left a hole there, and the ground rod was barely covered). Dealing with Dave Watkins was a whole other experience. Told him I was going with a different electrician I had worked with prior, and he made many assurances that he would definitely beat the price (told me the range provided on Yelp was "just a number," which was the first red flag). On the day of the service, refused to talk to me on the phone or via text when I asked to discuss the price. Then one week later, gave a price that was higher than initially discussed and that I should reference an "invoice" he sent (he never sent one). When I attempted to discuss the pricing with him, finally, he became aggressive and threatened to put a lien on my house. He then stated that he stands by the quote even if it was half a million dollars. His reason for a higher price was "extra work"; in fact we had discussed the work ahead of time, and it was a standard part of the job (a bonding bridge), making me concerned that he would not have completed the job with required parts if I hadn't reminded him to add it. My experience of working with Dave Watkins is that he will make empty promises, not communicate properly, come up with invoices after the fact, claim that things have happened which did not, and escalate to threats instead of having a conversation with people. I eventually paid the bait and switch amount that he demanded after his threats, but I would hate for anyone else to end up in that position. I would never work with this company again.

Great communication: texted when he was on the way and expected to arrive. When Steve got here, he opened the electrical panel to install the new breaker and discovered mice had chewed some of the wires. He replaced and repaired everything needed for that as well. Could not be happier with his work. He worked fast and went above and beyond. And the price was very reasonable for everything done. Invoice clearly showed costs for all materials used and labor. Would not hesitate to use Teska Electric again.

The gentleman quoted me $1,695 in labor, as all the parts would be reused just refitted. I left work early, drove down there, disassembled, cleaned, and refitted them myself in 45 minutes. Duke came out inspected and turned the gas on. $1,695 for 45 minutes of work is disgraceful. You are taking advantage of people. I will be watching and reporting if you try to take my review down.
