They finally agreed to switch them out a week ago. Tech couldn't do it. Now there's a problem with the wiring. We've had no AC or fan for a week. We've called every single day and can only get their call service. They had to cut a hole in our ceiling to run duct work. They had a contractor repair it. The repair fell apart in months. Nobody EVER returned our calls. We finally had to pay our handyman to fix it. If they ever finish the job I'll let you know how their work is.

Not only did he not try to upsell us on a more expensive unit, he emphasized that the intro level system was very suitable for our house and steered us away from higher priced options because the extra features and efficiency didn't justify the price difference for our needs. As it turned out, our furnace conked out around this time, so Rechtin got a tech out to us quickly to get our old system running until the new one could be installed. The installation took two days, and the team was superbly skilled and courteous. The price of the work was not just fair, but very competitive.
