These guys are great! Initially, I was recommended them through my Camden apartment complex and then I did some research of my own. The 5 star reviews from others totally convinced me they were the right guys for my move. I was able to book completely online and they responded in a quick time frame. Even better, their pricing was extremely comparable. The night before our move, I called and switched from a 3 men to a 2 man crew. It took 1 minute on the phone and was completely painless....Our window for move time was 1:30-3:30 & the movers called in the morning to let us know they would arrive at 2:30. (We reeeeeally appreciated that. Not having to sit around wondering when they are coming when you have a million things to do goes a long way.) The guys showed up at 2:27. We just used them for partial packing and move in the Heights and they provided exceptional service! I enjoyed the camaraderie of the team and everyone was super friendly but hard working. The packing was done a few days earlier but they simply moved the billing with the move in so payment was super easy and rates are competitive. There was a minor ding in our wall that they pointed out to us (no one ever does this) and they sent out a contractor the next day to fix it and followed up with us immediately. I used Power Movers for packing and moving. Their team that helped me pack was great and very efficient. I basically had everything ready to go, all that was needed was to put the boxes and furniture in the truck. The move, however, did not go as well at all as it took an absorbent amount of time to load the truck and then unload the truck. What should take 5 minutes to break down a dining table with 4 legs, took 30 minutes. I look and there's a guy sitting Indian style unscrewing each screw by hand. There was a couch in a bedroom that needed to be loaded on the truck. The guys spent over 30 minutes trying to maneuver the couch out of the room, but they never got it out. I told them the door needed to come off, but they didn't even try it. anytime i came out of my room to see how things were going, there was one guy standing around or looking on his phone. The rep I spoke to at Power movers did not do anything to help my situation. She only made excuses and had 0 compassion. I didn't ask for a refund of any kind, just for help to finish the move that was never completed due to the ridiculous amount of time spent moving out of a tiny 1,100 sq ft house. The next day when the movers arrived the experience was great the only hiccup was caused by me as I had not reserved time for the loading dock, but they accommodated with a smile and just moved the truck to a nearby area. I really hate moving, but working with Power Movers made the move as easy as can be. Gary was excellent in providing me with info and tips that would help make the move easy, fast, and efficient. They even provided me with some free moving boxes that they dropped off before the move and picked up after the move. I've never heard of a moving company providing free boxes to customers. They are hard plastic boxes that are reusable so it's a very eco-friendly solution. I got several quotes from other companies and Power Movers comes in at a very reasonable price point, plus the customer service, free boxes, and ease of setting up the move online where huge winners for me. On the website you're able to let them know ahead of time how much you have to move and you can even upload pictures. All that helps you get a pretty accurate quote and approximately how long your move will take. On the day of the move I had the pleasure of working with Lance, Rueben and Shane. These guys were great. Very fast and efficient. They were also personable too which I appreciated. Pro tip: get everything boxed up as much as you can because that'll make everything go faster. Things that I couldn't box, like tables, bed, mattress, chairs, crib, etc... I broke down as much as I could and the crew was able to carefully wrap everything up. They took extra care in wrapping up my TV's and computer monitors. Unloading was fast and they offered to help set everything back up, but that wasn't necessary for me. Rodney, Reuben, and Fred were fantastic. All were very genuine, professional, and friendly. They had great sense of humor and the day went quick. This was a local move with some challenges due to being on a second-floor storage unit and we rode the elevators up and down for most the afternoon! But they were cracking jokes and having a good time while working hard. The afternoon went fairly quickly and I was very happy that they managed to stack my items in my units with space to spare! I've moved many times in my life and hired many companies but this was by far the best experience I've had. Allie and Jennifer in the office were also wonderful to work with. And some very nice young man came and gave me a quotebut I forgot what his name was but he was also very professional. Incredibly efficient and polite! We used them to move all of our downstairs furniture upstairs so we could do repairs on our first floor. They covered and wrapped everything for protection, and even though they were very thorough it only took them a couple hours! When another moving company never bothered showing up, I contacted power movers. Getting a quote and setting up an appointment time was smooth and easy. Guess what?! These guys showed up on time and wrapped and packed all of my stuff in a timely manner. I was a little worried because I have some large and heavy furniture. These guys are true professionals because they got it up two flights of stairs and did not damage any walls or any of my furniture. 5 stars-USE NO ONE ELSE....EVERYTHING WENT WRONG, TV BROKE, AND I'M STILL GIVING THEM 5 STARS Bear with me here for a moment. Something always breaks on a move, this time it was my TV, but everything about the move was handled wonderfully by this team. First of all they recommended two trucks for our house. I declined thinking we only needed one. Then less than a week before the move realized I was wrong and called. They booked a second truck right then and there. The day of the move one of the trucks broke down. They rented a truck from one of the diy rental companies and still showed up on time. When they got to the house they moved QUICKLY and with care. Most movers drag their feet and tack on extra billable hours. These guys were hustling from the start. They had us loaded up in under their quoted time. They unpacked us just as quickly. Unfortunately during the move our 65" 4k Samsung TV broke. It was literally the most valuable thing they were moving. I braced myself for the 30-60 cents per pound I was going to get back on my $1500 TV( that's the usual rate)....But that's not what happened. When we discovered the TV had broken. The team leader called over to their management and sent pictures of the damage himself. He had me on the phone with management while they checked our other devices. A couple other minor things had also taken damage, but here's the deal... It straight up was not their fault! The truck they rented had a board in it that snapped in transit. The board slapped into the screen and destroyed it. In spite of that, and the fact that they were in no way required to recoup me the cost of the TV, they did it anyway. The owner personally called me and sent me a brand new Samsung 65" literally just the 2019 model instead of my 2018 model. He had it delivered from BestBuy to the house. Not only that, but when the team left, they presented me the bill. They basically stopped the clock at when they found damage. this shaved an extra 90 minutes or so off of my move bill. They did ask about my other minor damages, but truthfully it wasn't important stuff to me and they had done enough. When it was all said and done they had moved me 40 miles farther, with twice as much stuff as my previous move, but did it in less time and with far more care. This level of both competence, consideration, and courtesy is unheard of and I could not recommend power movers more. read more

Lance and Ray were great. Showed up on time and with masks. Moved my daughter from a third floor to a third floor. They were very careful with all of the furniture. In her old place, there is a very narrow point between stair rail, walls and ceiling, and they navigated around it perfectly. They were super nice and pleasant to work with. Booking a time was simple and they were great about communicating all the details up front. I had Lance and Ruben as my movers and they did great as well. Both were very friendly and professional guys who did their best to move me out and into the new place as efficiently as possible. One of my tables broke during transportation, and they were quick to offer a discount off the final price.
