Power Home Remodeling completed a project removing 11 old windows plus patio sliding door and installing 11 new Pella windows with new sliding door. The Project team arrived on time and started work soon after arriving. They were very skilled, courteous and answered all my questions. They worked steadily until the project was complete. Their quality of finished work was high. The level of detail they provided to the Interior and exterior finish was above expectations. The weather sealing was perfect. They protected household items during the work and carried all job waste away at completion. The estimated cost remained true to final payment. I am very happy with Power Home Remodeling quality of work and products. read more

I was applying for a Position with this company and their site directed me to a screen with a large number of "support/ advancement " groups on it, It was covering all the races but one, Caucasians. It included Trans and non binary persons and women , but nothing for men. So as is often the case, the folks claiming to support Diversity are simply Anti White and Anti Male, made conspicuously obvious by their omission from groups to support , literally every other ethnic and sexual group. Had them out to quote all the windows after a sales man knocked on the door. Told the first guy we were interested but not for a few months since I didn't want to add another monthly payment. Got called they had an offer to lower the amount. I was very clear over the phone I was not interested in getting them done now but wanted to know the price to plan for it. When the sales guy came back out. He wasted another hour measuring the windows again. When he gave me the new price that was barely cheaper I literally had to kick him out of my home because he started arguing with me why I couldn't afford a 200 a month payment. The amount of disrespect from the "flex installation manager" was mind blowing. I 100% planned to use you guys when I was ready in a couple month but now I will not. Arriving home on Wednesday I was approached by Jorge and Mel, two gentlemen offering free estimates for windows and other home renovations. I obtained an appointment for estimates two days later and after spending 3 hours with Trevor we came up with many options to update my home. He was very knowledgeable and explained all of the choices for windows, doors, gutters, and trim. The following Monday was my install day and Marlin installed my shiny new gutters. Since quality is super important, Josh, an inspector for the company showed up to make sure the work was done right and that I'm happy with the project. All of these guys were professional and informative. read more

They have been absolutely fantastic in step of their process! From salesman all the way to inspectors with Power. Very transparent about all aspects of the process as well. Door to door sales team has the most obnoxious tactic of trying to corner all occupants of a house in one room in order to sell windows. Makes it seem they're setting up a home invasion and overall is even threatened that the demonstration won't even happen. You knocked on my door. Get a clue. Most annoying door to door sales tactic I've ever heard of. And it's not the salesman, it's that weird dude Mike on the phone who wants to make sure. Get a better tactic. read more

From the salesman to the installers and everyone in between the employees were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The installers covered the furniture to protect our stuff and cleaned up when finished. The product they are installing seems to be excellent- they are Pella windows and are double paned argon filled. The windows are impact windows not only offering safety from storms but also security and some sound deadening. The installers worked extremely well as a team and the installation of 7 windows and a sliding glass double door was completed in one day. While this product was not inexpensive, it was substantially less than a competitor offering a similar product. I would definitely use these folks again. read more

Two sales representatives came to my house and white male and black male. They were asking too many questions regarding who resides at my house and name. It sounded fishy so terminated the conversation. The black male got hostile because I terminated the free quote for windows . I had very expensive windows replaced throughout my entire house and the quality is good. I'm not satisfied with the fact that parts of my curtain rods are missing and there's nothing I can do about it. My biggest issue is the fact that they never took the time to lock a single window in my house. Not one! They came to a home with locked windows and left me with unlocked windows. Thomas was very thorough and professional. I am very satisfied with the quality of the windows and installation process.

Had my windows replaced in September of 2017. Was told they had a life time guarantee and I would never have to worry about windows again. In April of 2026 I noticed 7 of my windows were streaking on the inside of the glass. When called they admitted to having problems with that window and it was no longer availible. It would cost me $180 a pane to replace them with their new window with no guarantees that they would last. Disappointing customer service. read more

Pushy Sales person who pushed to have done ASAP and qualified for a tax credit for new window installation. Guess what. It doesn't because they sell you a lump sum deal and don't break down the cost of windows and labor, so you can't get a tax credit with IRS for the upgrade. This is only one of the many lies and sneaky, underhanded tactics this company bullies you into. Customer service and installers were great, Better if sales person would actually be honest, truthful and upfront, instead of empty promises for their commission. They had the nerve to show up to ask about my experience and say we can handle anything else you have to be done. I asked if he would kiss me first. Find a reputable company that backs their work and if honest. If they tell you that can't be done, then you need to stop and find someone that can do what you want. They told me I couldn't install french doors, which I found out I could and when I asked to revise, they told me no. They also told me it would more expensive for the french doors, but now can not give me a itemized bill for each window with the cost of labor, which is required by the IRS for the tax credit. read more

Unfortunately after 3+ years with these windows I have to let everyone know how little they care about there customers. After having a house fire that damaged only one window the company has stated they only accept jobs 4+ windows which used to be 2+ windows. When asked if we could just buy the window and have our construction company install it they stated they dont do that. When asked if they could send us a quote for 1 window to submit to our insurance company they dont do that either. When asked if they could help us in any way they said no. This is not a reputable corporation; it is a scam agency using ghost-company tactics to defraud homeowners! Power Home Remodeling came to inspect my storm damage, took over 10 photos, and promised a 'Free Estimate.' They scheduled a follow-up today at 5:30 PM. I waited until 6:00 PM, but they totally ghosted me.When I called, a manager named Tim spun a web of ridiculous lies. First, he claimed they had the wrong phone number (yet he was talking to me on my exact phone line). Then, he claimed their entire system magically 'deleted' all my photos and inspection data. But in the same breath, he claimed he knew my roof was too new to replace! How can you know the condition of my roof if my file was completely deleted? He couldn't answer. They did all of this simply because I asked them to email me the written estimate before signing any paperwork. They hold your storm damage evidence hostage. If you don't sign their predatory contract on the spot, they wipe your data and vanish like a ghost company. It is shameful how a deceptive scam like this is allowed to stay in business. They use slick marketing to trick the community, but their actual operation is deeply evil, fraudulent, and đê tiện. Do not trust their fake 'Free Estimate' trap! read more

It made me give one star. THEY DO NOT DESEVE THE ONE STAR. As you will notice, the majority of the reviews are in regard to windows and siding. This company also offers Solar Panel installation. I am a realtor, I was sceptic in installing solar panels on my house, but open to discussion ONLY if the company did NOT file a second lien on my property. I scheduled 3 appointments with 3 different companies. Once a salesperson from each company came into my home, my first question was, "Do you or the lender file a second lien on the property if we choose your company to supply solar panels?" The first 2 companies said, "yes". I did not waste any more of their time, thanked them for their time and sent them on their way. Power House sales rep, John said "No we do not." He was VERY stern and adamant about this. I explained the many reasons why I did not want a second lien on my property. I was explained that the lender/loan they use is considered a signature loan, we have the option to pay off the solar panels when the house sells OR we could continue to make payments after the home is sold. John even gave me an address of a home they just finished in my area. He told me to look up the property on the CAD and see that there are no second loans on their property. I told him to make sure what he is telling me is true, if I find out differently, I will be very upset. He assured me many times in different stories, there is absolutely no way the lender will file a second loan on my property... Awesome. After hearing this we allowed them to continue with their sales pitch. After agreeing with one of their packages, they file out the loan application on an iPad they bring, and once approved they hand you the iPad to sign the loan paper work. Then the job is scheduled..... TO PRESENT DAY. I recently needed to call the loan company to review some questions I had. At this time, I was notified that they did in fact filed a second lien on my property. With this information I was livid! After several days of going back and forth with the loan company I reached out to Power House. You are NOT able to speak to the manager, or anyone above a "Customer Service" position. After Many Many attempts I final settled with Simon in the Austin office. He stated that the sales team IS TRAINED to say that the lender does NOT file a second lien. When I brought this to their attention, the response was basically, "I'll talk to the manager and see what we can do..." I asked to be given the commissions that were made by the sales people that came into my house. They LIED to my face, they were TAUGHT to lie to get the deal done. As a 20-year Realtor, If I ever lied to a client just to get the deal, but I was not positive in its truth, I could possibly lose my license, have fees, lose my commission or have my license suspended. I would be beside myself if I ever placed a client in a situation like what Power House has put me in. Being put off for another week, I finally was able to visit with Simon, the conclusion, " Sorry we lied, sorry this is not what you wanted. There is nothing we can do" NO! I was not compensated for their dishonesty, there was no remorse or concern. Simon did say he hopes they change their training model...... Basically, they made a sale and could care less as to how they got it. If you choose to use Power House be VERY CAREFUL they will tell you exactly what you want to hear to make the sale. I will not refer anyone to them. I will do the opposite and tell people to stay clear of this company. I will also do my absolute best to make my situation known to as many people as possible. If they lied to me about my concern, will they also lie to you regarding your concern when you request a quote on windows, siding, or anything you may want a quote on.... MOST LIKELY, YES! read more

Absolutely do not recommend Power Home Remodeling. They do not honor their warranty, and their customer service is nonexistent. I reached out in December 2024 about a problem with one of the windows they installed. I was told to email photos, which I did immediately. A week later, I followed up by phone and was told they were having trouble sourcing the window but would have a solution in "a couple of weeks." That was the start of months of runaround. I called again in February, and again on April 17, 2025, only to be told they're still working on a solution. That's nearly five months of excuses and empty promises. No timeline. No communication unless I initiate it. Just vague responses and zero accountability. If you value customer service, responsiveness, or companies that stand by their product and warranty--look elsewhere. Power Home Remodeling talks a big game when they're selling, but once they've got your money, you're on your own. read more

My home was built in 1969 and is 53 years old. I had a few broken windows that were "fixed" by my dad. Money flying out the windows. I had a knock on the door, and someone asked if I was interested in new windows. I was intrigued, knowing that cold air was flying out my bedroom window. He gave me an appointment to have someone come out and give me a quote and left me the addresses of homes they had just completed in the area. Within the days leading up to my appointment I drove to all 3 address and the windows looked nicely updated. Jordan shows up, with a sample window, explained how the windows worked, & the guarantee that goes with the installation. What I look for the most in a remodeling company: Don't pay until the work is done. Sign me up. The crew came out a few days earlier than originally scheduled because my windows came in early. They okayed this with me first. I was too excited to pass up an earlier installation. The crew of 4 guys including Brian P were so polite, professional, and attentive to detail. They were vigilant of our pets while working and careful with our personal belongings. They didn't leave until I was completely satisfied with the work. I would point things out and they responded "Yes, ma'am we are going to...." then proceed to explain what was going to be done. Basically I was jumping the gun. We did a final walk through and they were gone with no clean-up to be done by me. Only 3 days later, does Steve D show up for the quality assurance review. Just making sure I was still happy with the work. No frowns here especially at night. I even get cold with my old temperature setting. read more

Excellent experience. Power is the first contractor who has kept me informed about the entire process, including numerous calls advising what time they would arrive. Their app provided documentation of everything about my project including the contract and before and after pictures of the windows and doors. I was promised that the install would be done by 3 pm (sales person/preinstall inspection person and twice on Friday. Everything was fine until the day of install, Monday 8-26-24. The install crew didn't show up in the 8-10 am window. Called Power and by the time they contacted the crew and called me back it was already 11:15. I was told the crew was just around the corner and I confirmed that the job would be done by 3 pm was confirmed: LIES. I called back at 11:40 and stayed on the phone with Power until the crew actually arrived at 12:15 p.m. The job was NOT completed as promised. The crew was only able to finish about 20 percent. I called Power again and they attempted to schedule a second appointment for a weekday. I told them that I was NOT taking another day off of work for a job the promised to be completed by 3 p.m. After another return phone call, the second appointment was scheduled for Saturday. I was very lucky that I went up into the attic Tuesday due to damage to the A/C vent pipe being totally clasped from being stepped on. Also two ductwork pipes detached from the rafters but laying 100 percent on the pipes from the A/C evaporator that go to the compressor. Another call to Power. Saturday finally arrived. The radiant barrier was installed but..... I had to tell the crew to raise the duct work in several areas and by this time I was done dealing with them and told them to leave. They also left a lot of wires on the floor of the attic. Another call to Power, the guy they sent out Tuesday/Wednesday just "tucked" the wires up with no care and didn't attached or strap them to anything. He left. I went up to the attic a couple days later to change the settings on my hot water tank and all the wires fell down on my head. Another call to Power. I was told a "Supervisor" would contact me about my issues. No contact for several days. I ended up going up to the attic securing the many wires in an appropriate manner. I was not fun spending several hours doing this. Finally on 9-12-24 I was contacted by a "supervisor" at 3:05 and he wanted to come at 4:15. He showed up on time. While he was here, he told me the reason for the crew not showing up in 8-10 am window was another client was only available in the am only. Power never called me and they just automatically assumed I would be ok with the change. NOT.
