There were so many moving pieces, and Therese somehow always had a handle on all of them. She was incredibly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, direct, patient, reassuring, and honest throughout the entire planning process. She also has an insane amount of wedding knowledge and experience, and you can tell that she genuinely cares about understanding what the couple wants and figuring out how to make it happen. Her vendor management and ability to anticipate things before we even thought of them were invaluable. She also helped us navigate the family dynamics that inevitably come with planning a large Indian wedding and helped us get everyone comfortable and excited about vendors and decisions that mattered to us. Having her there gave us so much confidence throughout the process because we always knew we had Therese, and we were not doing it alone. One thing I especially appreciated was that Therese wasn't afraid to give us her honest opinion when she thought something would make our experience better. For example, she strongly encouraged us to take photos with all of our guests because she knew how much it would mean to them. At the time, I wasn't sure we needed to, but I am SO glad we listened to her. Her execution on the actual wedding weekend was unbelievable. Our main wedding day had an extremely tight schedule with essentially no room for anything to run late, and somehow everything ran perfectly on time. Guests, family members, our bridal party, and even other vendors commented on how smoothly the day ran and how impressed they were that a wedding with so many moving pieces stayed so perfectly on schedule. Therese and Bharati were also incredible at managing our families and bridal party so that my husband and I never had to worry about where anyone needed to be or what was happening next. Therese even made little schedule cards for every member of my bridal party with their call times and everything they needed to know. The cards unfolded into these hilariously long scrolls, which honestly sums up how complex the logistics were and how prepared she was for every single detail. We also had the pleasure of working closely with Bharati from the Electric Karma team, who was absolutely amazing. Between Therese and Bharati, I truly felt like everything was taken care of. They coordinated seamlessly with our vendors and made sure the final execution was exactly what we had envisioned. Most importantly, because of them, I was actually able to be present at my wedding. I wasn't checking the time, coordinating with vendors, finding family members, or worrying about what was supposed to happen next. I cried, laughed, soaked everything in, and genuinely enjoyed every minute because I completely trusted that Therese and her team had everything under control. If I could go back and plan our wedding all over again, I would hire her again without hesitation. I would recommend her to any couple, and especially to anyone planning a large, multicultural, or logistically complex wedding.

We did get to go in 30 minutes early this only gave us time to talk to 2 people after running into issues with the bridal scan app from the get go. Also, I only saw 1 VIP giveaway when websitea mentioned multiple. When I asked the staff I was just pointed towards the same giveaways everyone has a chance for. As for interactions with the vendors it was the same as everyone else, same spill, same brochures, same little "swag" items. So save your money wait until the general admission is free and get your tickets. The event it's self is a tad overwhelming as the layouts are a tad wonky so it's easy to miss places. Each bar area only had 1 bartender which made the lines extremely long. I felt really bad for the ladies working because there should have atleast been 2. I also feel as my information was given to locations I didn't give too as a few places have reached out which I dont have a single business card, brochure, nothing for them. So not sure how they obtained it. Also, always double check pricing at the vendors from websites as well. I did catch just a couple whose website price was LOWER than at the expo. I was given the website isn't updated, thay is for this season this is for next, etc. Just do your research for sure. Fashion show was pretty cute i like that they had models of all sizes present. Plenty of seating and standing room as well. As for the dresses at the event there aren't a ton for you to try on and buy there (even though that's advertised) which i really didn't expect much but the quality of the dresses present....interesting I would say. There were a couple boutiques that stood out to me and I ended up making appointments because they showed their different styles they had (not just glittery, patterned, ballgown which is for some but not all). They had plenty of venues to look at that made scheduling open houses easier. A few tux vendors, decoration, flowers, and travel agents/wedding planners. The cake tasting where interesting to try for only 2 stood out which were much smaller mom and pops shops the other "big ones" no thank you.

She helped us plan a 3-day event, focusing on the wedding and reception itself. We married in June 2023 but started planning in early 2022, so we had chosen the wedding venue and reception location. You may say, well what did Stephanie do? The answer is a whole hell of a lot, including letting us keep our sanity. We were initially just going to use the TheKnot and plan the wedding ourselves. We were quickly disabused of this notion when we sent quote requests to the top 3 vendors for photography and flowers and were quickly overwhelmed with the questions. Once we selected Stephanie and explained our "vision", she selected the top 1-2 vendors in each category, told them our vision and we just met with them for our comfort. Further, even though we had decided to pick folks for hair and make-up, our choices fell through and Stephanie was able to find awesome options. Finally, Stephanie also understood the ins and outs of the special venue (the Butterfly Garden at the Houston Museum of Natural Science) and helped us navigate what we could and could not do. Additionally, the reception location was initially not going to provide a tasting due to our small party (~40 people), but Stephanie was able to wrangle one, which gave us a sense of comfort we otherwise would not have had. She also helped us with set-up and coordination for our welcome ("rehearsal") dinner, even though this was initially not in her remit. During the wedding, she kept us on track and focused.
