From our first meeting, I felt confident that we could trust her to handle all of the details and she proved me right. She and her assistant really did an excellent job for us, coordinating all of the different vendors and making sure the wedding/reception ran smoothly. I couldn't have asked for anyone better -- they were super organized, hardworking, calm and genuinely nice to boot. Our vendors also told me that she was a pleasure to work with. I can't recommend Something Planned highly enough.

My fiancé and I had a lot on our plate, so we opted for her full planning service (HIGHLY recommend this option if possible). We found her through a personal recommendation from a wedding she did in Louisiana, THEN come to find out, my best friends brother who was getting married 2 weeks before us, had just hired her as well! I knew we mush have had the best of the best! And I was right! Monique was there every step of the way, from dress appointments/ suit appointments, cake tastings, venue searches... EVERYTHING! She didn't demand to go anywhere and was cool if there was space limits and she couldn't come. Her online portal was SOOOO helpful with keeping me on task from day 1 and was key in helping me to remembering what I needed to do, purchase, or inquire about. She has an extensive preferred vendor list, but if we wanted to look elsewhere, she looked into other options for me as well. She was prompt, timely and followed up with ALL vendors on our behalf! I was able to trust her with RSVP's, timelines, and pretty much everything. We just worked well together in general. She was also conscious of our budget. She let us know where we were being unrealistic, and where we were probably over budgeting. She really helped us execute our vision perfectly! Day of, she was the calm to my chaos. lol! We didn't have to worry about anything. I didn't find out about things that went wrong until after the wedding because she handled them on our behalf. She was intent on making sure we got EVERYTHING we asked for. She has a great team of assistants that helped day of. They kept of 400-person wedding flowing smoothly. Last minute, I was looking for cold sparks and dancing on a cloud and she was able to find one of her past clients who offered the service, was able to help me negotiate some things and get the service for us near our budget! She is worth every penny we paid and soooo much more! She was our first wedding investment and we definitely got top tier services!! I heard horror stories about brides and their planners, but Monique is AMAZING, even tempered, and truly a friend throughout the whole process!! If I could give 10 stars, I would! Dorjan and I are soooo proud to be a WED Couple! WE LOVE YOU, Mo!

We had an initial meeting to discuss our ideas for our wedding, timeline, location(s) and budget. Once we signed a contract, Hedi provided us with a rough timeline of all events/meetings throughout the time between Day 1 of Planning and the Big Day! She would check in monthly with the items we'd have to take care of, and then would assist us with scheduling appointments with trusted vendors, attend various appointments with us, and point us in the right direction. While I think we would have been able to plan a great wedding on our own, Hedi was there to provide professional direction, keep us within budget, and keep stress levels low! She exceeded our expectations and assisted us in planning an absolutely amazing and low-stress wedding! We wouldn't have been able to plan our wedding with the efficiency that she provided to us. I would highly recommend Hedi and Harper Events to anyone looking to plan a wedding or event in Houston (or elsewhere!)

The colors, the florals, candles, dancfloor, the way everything was arranged -- it felt like Dipti and the Mandap team somehow knew exactly what was in my heart. Dipti is an artist, truly. She is calm, thoughtful, solution-oriented, and such a dream to work with. We changed venues midway through planning and she didn't just adapt -- she elevated everything we originally envisioned. I gave her creative freedom because I trusted her eye, and that was the best decision I made. She looked at our outfits and offered ideas on how to create contrast and vibe while keeping it authentically "us." Everything they setup was my favorite and all of the details, like I said speechless. As two business owners, we really appreciated not having to sit through countless meetings. Every conversation we did have with Dipti and the team was purposeful, easy, and honestly joyful. They gave us space to make the big decisions, while gently guiding us when we needed it. We had a traditional Indian wedding with a touch of Texas flair, and over the course of five different events--each with its own theme--she brought every vision to life. From our Bridgerton-inspired Mehndi and Flower Market Vidhi, to a Midsummer Night's Dream Sangeet, a Lotus-themed Wedding, and finally our Boots & Sari Texas Ball Reception, every detail was breathtaking. Each event felt unique, magical, and unforgettable. One of the most special moments was during our wedding ceremony. Dipti went above and beyond to find real lotus flowers in honor of my grandmother. Walking down the aisle surrounded by them brought me to tears and made me feel as though she was right there with me. That level of thoughtfulness and care is something we will cherish forever. Dipti will always have backup plans on top of backup plans--something every anxious bride needs! When it rained during our Vidhi, she transformed my parents' garage into an absolute dream. She truly thinks of everything and handles challenges with so much grace and creativity. Our reception décor is still the talk of our guests! Dipti brought my vision of a grand Texas ball to life--complete with a custom Texas Wedding Seal dance floor and without a single hay bale in sight. It was elegant, vibrant, and everything we could have hoped for.
