Broke Piano and run !…read more We used Ninja Movers on 12/19/2021 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm PST. There were 3 people who moved our furniture from east bay to south san jose. We had an upright Yamaha Piano that paid $150 extra to move it. After paying movers in total, I noticed the sustaining pedal is damaged and movers put a plastic wrap under the pedal to hold it ! During the last 30-60 minute of their service, I noticed they are in rush to leave and I had no idea why. When they left, I found the reason. They broke the sustaining pedal and scape without telling us any word ! We were so nice with movers, even bought them free lunch and tipped them pretty fairly. But, unfortunately they were dishonest and left us with a damaged Piano without disclosing it. This is really unresentful, embarrassing and unacceptable. They hide the damage and pretended nothing has happened. I called their office, asked for refund. They answered, please send an email to "ninjamoversinc@yahoo.com".

No one at the big box stores knew what these were, so I went to Lamps Plus where I should have gone first. The staff member in the "bulb department" identified both immediately. He had the newer compatible LED bulb for the ceiling fixture and wrote down the complete ID for the old floor lamp bulb as well as where to get it online. This wasn't the first time I found odd or old bulbs at Lamps Plus as well as several great lamps. It's a great store with staff who really know their lamps, fixtures, bulbs, and furniture.

I worked with Rob Nordvick on a project in Livermore last July and have to say he is the very worst salesman that I have ever worked with. Being in the construction industry for over 20 years I have dealt with all kinds and what I always expect is that they at least have a rudimentary knowledge of what they are trying to sell me. This guy knew NOTHING and every time I asked him to give me a description of what he had to offer, he had to go back to the manufacturer and ask them. Rob here is a tip, learn at least a little about what we are talking about so you don't look like such an idiot. I've dealt with other people from SVS, Mark, Chris, Alice and a few others and all were really good people and easy to work with. If you contact SVS to get a quote and they turn you over to Rob, do yourself a favor and immediately ask for a different salesperson. You will save yourself a lot of headaches and frustration! How this guy stays employed at SVS is beyond me, he must be related to the owner is the only thing that I can think of.
