When I first reached out for a quote, Mustafa responded the very same day with professionalism and warmth. Once my design was ready, I stopped by the shop, and he immediately began reformatting my files right in front of me, making sure every detail was perfect for print. That level of care and attention is rare! It showed how much pride he takes in his work and how much he values his clients. As a designer I am highly focused on quality and value and the turnaround time was incredibly fast -- about two and a half to three days -- and the quality was outstanding. We chose a magazine-style paper for the obituaries, and they came out absolutely beautiful. There was a small hiccup with the printer on the first batch, but what impressed me most was how Mustafa handled it. Without hesitation, he took full ownership, explained the issue, and reprinted everything perfectly by the very next day. There were several elements to our signage and we're a high end furniture company so looks are extremely important. They came out within a couple of days to get started. I found myself in a last minute bind to get my Will notarized! (Long story). But my parents sent me to this store to hopefully have this service performed. Lucky for us the young man on duty was indeed a licensed Notary! Unfortunately, when we first arrived, the place was empty and we were told we needed two more witnesses that were not related to me. My dad and I realized that we didn't quite plan ahead! I almost thought we were going to have to leave and return later when two ladies showed up to collect their mail and had no problem agreeing to be my witnesses! What a nice gesture it was to gain the kindness of strangers! The nice young man was very patient with us as we went through the lengthy process of getting the required papers completed, verifying ID's & signatures, and then finalizing it all with that official notary stamp! The fee was just $15.00! I felt bad that we used up a lot of his time as other customers started coming in and lining up behind us. But he did a great job keeping calm and making sure everything was completed before sending us on our way! Precision's work is just that: incredible attention to detail, fast turnaround, great service; they match spot colors perfectly, and can handle the tightest registration. These guys can do work as good as a great craft printers on a hand-crank Vandercook or platen press - they're that good! I have them print wedding invitations and similar items for clients, and they've NEVER let me down. The price is always far less than I'd pay taking the job to a fine printer in the Bay Area, the quality just as good, and the turnaround faster. And they're just really nice folks, too. Definitely the most underrated fine print shop in the Sacramento area. It's unfortunate that there's not more demand for good letterpress work, because they are absolutely capable of delivering.
