I've heard of Dr. Robin for…read moreyears, but not until we had a complex pain case in our Great Dane did we visit her (a 2 hr. drive for us). She is amazing. A veterinarian who has taken the time to learn specialties in so many things and have the most leading edge equipment you can rest assured you are getting leading edge treatment here. After neuro surgeons, and MRI's etc. orthopedic surgeons (who immediately want to operate both her shoulders) all evaluated my Dane, Dr. Robin diagnosed her and worked with us over the phone to get just the right dose of meds. The problem was NOT surgical and not expensive to treat. We saved thousands by seeing Dr. Downing and now our girl is pretty much pain free. I have sent several friends to Dr. Downing and they have all had the same experience. I heard nothing but positive feedback regarding how the visit went (and no one would be more honest than my Mother). Dr. Joya appeared lacked the knowledge I would expect from a professional in this field. I did not see her properly examine my pet, and she missed clear signs of illness. I decided to get a second opinion at The Meadows Veterinary, and they immediately diagnosed a serious condition. Sadly, by then, it was too late. My poor baby had been suffering, and I now live with the pain of knowing earlier detection could have made a difference. I'm sharing this not out of anger, but in hopes that it prevents another pet owner from going through what I did. Our babies deserve attentive, competent care from the very start.

He ran a test, forwarded results to csu hospital for follow-up re surgery, took time to speak with us--truly AMAZING care. (The first time he met our pet, a month earlier, he hung out with her and us for a good while before starting the exam, so all of us felt at ease and calm and welcome.) Dr. Arnold is wonderful. What I appreciate most about the Fort Collins office that we visited in May is the knowledgeable, responsive staff who make time for both urgent and non-urgent consultations. Grateful to have found Dr. Arnold and Raintree through friends. Highly recommende.

Copy of chart notes so I can submit a claim to insurance? Took 4 calls & having to lay it out as simple as I can "I need the notes that the Dr wrote after he saw my dog today. I do NOT need a receipt." Trying to get meds? Half the time I'm told they can't order that medication for me. The other half... they call in meds to a compounding pharmacy since my dog is small. BUT THEY DON'T HAVE IT COMPOUNDED?? I had to tell the same staff member 3 times that yes, i did, in fact want the medication compounded. And then I get a follow up text "just to confirm, you do want this to be compounded?" Last weekend was my breaking point. I took my dog in for a quick blood draw. I was there for an hour. They never drew blood. There were animals in and out. Both for tech appointments and to see the Dr. My dog sat in the back the entire time while I sat in the lobby. I asked several times if it was going to be much longer. After 45 minutes I did tell the manager to please just give me my dog. That took yet another 15 minutes to get my dog & pick up medication. I'm disappointed, because I felt like the vets gave my pets top notch care. But if I can't trust the rest of the staff and constantly deal with frustration anytime I contact them - I can't do it. I am waiting for my dogs records - which has yet again been a struggle.

Dr. Miller found the answer to my horses health issue when others didn't, and always takes the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. He even met with the farrier today so they could review fresh X-rays together and discuss the best path to move forward on. If there were more stars to give, he'd get them all. All of this AND an office staff that is very friendly and professional.

Arriving at 5:20 on Friday of the Memorial Day weekend we were pleasantly surprised by the…read morefacility, the staff, and the vet. Our beloved 80 lb lab mix has started having massive black poops the 2 nd if which was up in Estes park at 4 pm Friday. We called 4 seasons and were advised to bring Chloe in. When we arrived at the scrupulously clean facility, we were greeted by the office staff who had already begun paperwork based on our phone conversation. The vet saw Chloe immediately and came out to give us preliminary report on vitals along with recommendation for next steps. The vet tech followed with cost estimates. After conclusion of those tests, the vet came out again to tell us results of blood work and's xrays and to let us know fecal labs vwouldn't be back till Tuesday. She gave us diagnosis of colitis, and recommended meds and post visit instructions. Check out was seamless, and final visit was about 10% less than the low estimate. Three days later our dog is recovered. A very pleasant experience for an emergency vet office. High marks to all!

No they convinced her to run tests and blood work to the tune of $900. Canda puts people down for minor things, but four season can't even put an old dying dog down. A dog who is actively dying!!!
