Patti always did a great job and I felt comfortable knowing my dog was in her hands. Tito is a Golden Doodle. He has all the characteristics that Doodles have including a tail that stands upright and has long beautiful fur. Before I dropped him off, I received an email stating that Patti would be grooming him as usual. When I picked him up after grooming, I found out Patti had someone else do it instead. I was then told they messed up his tail, but I'd receive a nominal discount. I took one look and was completely sick to my stomach. I was not about to pay a cent knowing he'd look like this for at least 6 months. I have not heard from the owner or anyone else representing the shop to discuss what happened. So I'm here to share now... I've attached 2 photos. One, how he and his tail looked after a previous grooming. The other is what they did the other day... I would not recommend their services anymore! Such a shame...

We used Denver Pro Pet Sitting while we were on vacation and it was an absolute lifesaver. They checked in on our cats, made sure everything was taken care of, and sent updates that made it clear our little furballs were living their best lives while we were gone. Reliable, communicative, and clearly people who genuinely care about animals. It's such a relief knowing your pets are in good hands instead of just hoping the automatic feeder doesn't become their new enemy. 10/10 would trust them with our cats again. I was unfortunate enough to have an emergency while on vacation with no way to get home quickly or call anyone. Nelson and my sitter were absolutely amazing in handling the situation with urgency, care, and communicated with me the best they could given my limited availability. I hope I never have another emergency when I'm gone, but if I do, it's Denver Pro Pet Sitting I want taking care of my pets. Finally, they do their best to assign the same sitter every time. I really love seeing my sitter comment on my dog's health improvements since previous visits and makes me feel like they genuinely care about my pets and their well being.

I was so embarrassed calling places to find out if they offered individual playtime and would keep dogs separate (felt like a bad mother...). Thankfully Sage Valley is close to my house and when I called the first time a couple of years ago, the owner was very friendly and understanding when I explained the situation. My husband and I have left our pup several times for up to 10 days and she's always happy and healthy when we pick her up. No boarding experience will be 100% stress free for an animal, but we have no complaints after almost 3 years. I grew up with dogs and my family was always bouncing among boarders (including well-known commercial operations) because one dog would come home sick or obviously stressed or something else would clearly be wrong. So I feel I know what to look for. My dog does get nervous when we drop her off but, as soon as she sees Katie, she's perks up and doesn't resist at all. Rates are very reasonable and I appreciate that each dog gets an indoor/outdoor run and that you can purchase additional, individual play times (which we do). I can't comment on grooming but I give them two thumbs up for boarding.
