Mostly it gave me peace of mind knowing he'd be well taken care of by people who care about him. When the facility moved this spring, I wasn't sure we'd continue. HH willingly accepted him -- he cannot be in the general dog population, and they have a program just for that! Enrichment: He plays and trains with people all day. He can't wait to go when it's daycare time.He loves it and all the staff. Makes it so much easier to board him too knowing he is getting the best care and having a good time. I have taken our Shepherd to Jasper's for both boarding and a two-week training. Our dog was a…read morehorrible walker, and had us worried because he would encounter other dogs on the walk and become very difficult to manage. He is a strong 100lb dog! He just pulled us along and was very unenjoyable to work with. The final straw was when he went after a rabbit and pulled my wife down, hurting her back. The two week training was very effective and we couldn't be more happy with the results! When we went to pick our dog up after the two weeks, Damien asked if the whole family could be there. He ensured each of us could walk our dog and use the necessary corrections. The kids were able to walk him, even past other dogs! I was super impressed. Damien took time to teach us how to effectively reinforce the training once we are at home, then made sure we could do it. He not only trained our dog, but trained us too. This is day 3 of being home and our dog is still very well behaved and has not reverted back to his old ways! He had his longest walk today, past the same neighborhood dogs as before and was amazing! Very happy with the results! It's a 45 minute drive, and there are other training/kennels that are closer to home, but I won't be going anywhere else. I will recommend Jasper's to anyone that is looking for knowledgeable folks that will care for your dog.

No matter how many times you call they will not speak with you over the phone, they only text, which is very odd for a business. Any way I was fine texting them, I asked them if I can set up a meet and greet with them (WITHOUT my dogs) so I can talk to them about my dogs and make sure everything is the right fit before proceeding with submitting any paper work. They said that was fine. We set up a time. They reconfirmed my time 1.5-2 hours prior to the meet up. Then 30 mins before our time they asked if we could reschedule. Then they proceeded to give an excuse of a emergency of a broken water pipe and if I want to come that I have to fill out my dogs vaccination information EVEN though I DID NOT WANT TO BRING MY DOGS. I WANTED TO CHECK IT OUT FIRST AND MAKE SURE ITS THE RIGHT FIT FOR MY DOGS. If you really had an emergency, you wouldn't be taking the time to write such a long text. And you would actually talk to the person on the phone when you had a chance and not force them to provide information about your dog. Why would I have to provide information IF YOURE NOT THE RIGHT FIT AND I WOULDN'T WANT TO PROCEED? I should only have to provide information if I choose to proceed with the boarding process. I have been able to go to several boarding facilities without my dogs present and be taken on a tour and talk to the workers to find out if it was a right fit. But not this place, hence..... Unprofessional and not a real business. I wouldn't say this would be the right fit for anyone. Beware.
