I read some of the reviews which were less than exemplary…read more All I can say is that my little girl, Maggie Mae, is so excited to go to day care as soon as I pull into to parking lot. She is just so happy to see the staff. They've all treated her well. Please read the good reviews with the bad. Weigh them carefully. It is your choice. Just know I would recommend them. 5 STARS.

The staff member turned away, and our dog caught her toenail on the drain, causing it to tear and bleed. I received a call around 7 p.m. letting me know about the injury. The employee said it didn't look bad and that they were "treating it," but would check with her manager. After sending a photo, she called back and said they both agreed our dog was fine. When we arrived the next morning, staff had to carry our dog out to the lobby because she couldn't walk. They advised us to take her to the vet immediately. Because our regular vet was unavailable, we went to an emergency clinic, where we learned she had nearly torn her nail completely off. She required surgery under anesthesia to remove the nail. Our dog was in pain, limped for weeks, and needed special equipment (a cone, boot, and bandages). Between the vet visit and supplies, we spent about $800. We asked Camp Bow Wow to reimburse only the vet bill, but they refused, citing a waiver we signed. I could understand that if this had been a random accident or a dog fight--but this injury happened due to employee negligence. Their "groomers" are not trained professionals, just general staff. This facility is not safe or trustworthy. If you love your dog, please take them somewhere else.
