We recently had a series of life-changing events that let us to Poulsbo RV in Auburn. We have a 6-yr old who is terminally-ill and decided to get out and do as much as possible. So, with a specific budget (somewhat limited) and an idea of what we wanted to do, we started looking. We settled on Class- 'A' motorhomes as they would best meet our needs and requirements. Over the past 12 months, we looked at many RVs located at many dealers as well as for-sale-by-owner coaches. The quality varied across a wide range, from units in horrible condition to the immaculate. Most of the coaches that we liked were either out of our price-range or, would have resulted in a budget that was stretched terribly thin. Our search led us back to Poulsbo RV. Even though most listings for used RVs are on their website, CALL THEM. They have many coaches that come in on trade and sometimes it takes a few days for those to show up in the online listings. We called and spoke with the internet sales team and drove to Auburn to take a look at some of the used coaches on the lot. On the phone we spoke to Paul, but he was at another Poulsbo location the evening we arrived, so his associate Alex showed us what they had. Although we looked at many motorhomes that afternoon, the first one that we looked at grabbed our attention, and we ultimately circled back to that coach. It was within our price range, although at the upper end. There was no high-pressure sales pitch, Alex simply showed us the coaches that we wanted to look at and recommended the ones within our price range. We looked at some above the range to compare the value and features. Alex highlighted the amenities and features of each coach and then moved on to the next so that my wife and I could have frank, non-pressured discussions about what we were looking at. We finished looking at coaches and let Alex know that we had some more coaches to look at the next couple of days. We had Paul's contact information, and Alex provided us with his. We looked at three comparable coaches at dealers in the local market place (same year, manufacturer, model, and in two cases, same floor plan/layout). While overall, they were in the same condition, many of the coaches hadn't been cleaned, which surprised us because we had scheduled appointments to look at them. The coach at Poulsbo RV was very clean, and immaculate, and in-fact it had even been staged with interior plants, place settings, etc. The comparable coaches were priced somewhat lower, however the attention to detail and friendliness led us back to Poulsbo. Poulsbo may take some coaches that aren't in great shape as trade-in, however those coaches never make it onto their lot for resale. Our coach was like brand new inside. The carpet, cabinets, furniture, upholstery, dash and bath were all in excellent condition. We told Paul what our budget was and the figure that we had to work with. Paul worked with the GSM and GM of the dealership and we purchased our coach at a competitive price-point. We purchased the PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) which I highly recommend. Brad and the service team went through the coach top to bottom and then performed a walk-through with us and highlighted the features and functions of the coach. They also walked us through the PDI and any items that had been fixed or that needed to be fixed. Overall we are very happy with Poulsbo RV in Auburn. Will Rogers and his team (Paul, Brad, Tina and the rest of the crew) made sure that we had a quality coach that met our needs and was ready to go. read more

WORST SERVICE EXPERIRENCE EVER Tried to buy a new Tiffin 31 SA from Poulsbo RV, but they didn't have the model we wanted in inventory. They couldn't even tell me when it would be available, so I purchased it from another dealer. Now they have made it as difficult as humanly possible to get warranty service. I called them today about a problem with my steps and they said the best they could do was 5 months out.- after the unit was out of warranty. read more

I have been a customer of Poulsbo RV for aprox. 15 yrs and I have tried to be patient with them when it comes to their service dept. It is painfully clear that Poulsbos focus is on sales! There service dept. is staffed with poorly trained personal who will cut corners at any chance they get. On a recent visit to diagnose a non functioning DVD entertainment system, I was told that the DVD player had failed and needed to be replaced and they could order one for $600, you just can't get the player, you need to by the entire system. Based on their diagnosis I decided to try to find a better price on one and made a purchase. The new DVD player was exhibiting the same systems. Finally after doing some research I discovered a switch right next to the DVD player that if turned on makes everything work. Obviously the "tech" did not know what he was talking about and because of this mis diagnosis I now have a extra home entertainment system which I will find a use for. There are so many more screw ups over the years that there's not enough room here to tell you about. Bottom line, Find a independent RV service shop that you can trust, do your research and you'll be better off I the end. read more

I purchased a brand new trailer from Poulsbo RV in Everett almost a year ago. The driver that delivered the trailer backed it into something and damaged it. I notified them and sent pictures. I was told they would pick it up and repair it. I was told that several times. Each time I call I am transferred to at least one other person and told that person needs to talk to someone and they will call me. Months have gone by and no one has ever called me back. I get a knot in my stomach when I call them because I have to explain the situation and, I just get the run round. Also I found out from the manufacturer, the furnace is a defective. When I called them no one knew what I was talking about. After I bought the thing, I saw that it was built using a material that is considered cancer causing in CA. The cupboard doors just fall off, the emergency exits are too small for anyone to fit through and the air conditioner sets of the fire alarm. The boom in RV sales has created a huge demand for qualified service technicians and since everything in my service had to be approved by the manufacturer, so it took a long time. About a month ago I contacted Poulsbo /Rv Parts Dept. about a replacement fender skirt for my 2014 Forest River Wildcat Maxx travel trailer , which I did not even purchase from them. Through his diligence and superior customer service, and his communication between myself and Forest River , he found the correct skirt. He had several communications between between the supplier and myself to accomplish this. I am now going to have him order my part. We took our 1990 Alfa GT in for both cosmetic and mechanical upgrades. We bought this rig new, otherwise we never would have put this much money into it. Joey went over the entire rig with us and got prices for the work in good time. We left it there on July 28, 2016. On August 4th, Joey called to say they had run into the left rear corner. A couple of days later he called to let me know that they had also bent the electric jack. On August 25th Joey called to tell me they had hit the right rear which bent and broke the ladder. August 26th we went to pick up the rig to prevent further damage while waiting for replacement parts. At this point since we were removing the unit from their "care" we had to pay the bill of $10K for the work we had agreed to. This included painting the front cap, frame area, rear bumper and steps. They replaced the charger/converter and installed a marine style cord. This also included replacing the graphics outside among other repairs. This was basically a restoration, When we went to pick it up the graphics on the front cap were totally wrong. They couldn't find the keys or the power cord. Luckily we had a second set of keys with us. After taking the rig back to our storage unit and plugging it in we found that there was no power to the furnace, hot water tank or fridge This left the rig unusable.. When installing the new converter they routed one of the wires poorly and it was bending over one of the fuses. Due to the age of the coach the ladder had to be custom made. We returned the coach to Poulsbo on January 3, 2017. There was about a month delay with the return due to bad weather. Joey called us later in the week to let us know that the new ladder wouldn't fit. After waiting for a replacement and hoping no more damage would be done we finally got it back on February 15, 2017. More damage had been done on their watch than in the 26yrs of our ownership. We had hoped that they would offer some kind of refund for damages, hassle, and having the unit for 6 MONTHS ! They did replace/repair everything that they lost/damaged. They also offered to pay the $110 ferry fair for the extra trips involved since we live on an island. This hasn't happened either. We requested several things be done by Poulsbo RV Service: 1) GENERATOR OIL CHANGE: cost surprised us at $129.99. 2)FIX 4TH DRAWER UNDER SINK - the latch broke and was replaced for $58.26!!!!WOW!!!! 3)REPLACE RIGHT SIDE BACKUP LIGHTBULB;cleaned socket and corrosion and replaced bulb!!! WHAT? We just wanted the bulb not to buy the store!!!!!Cost $70.00 CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!!!!!! 4)FIX CABINET LATCH; won't stay shut!!! Cost $70.00!!!!! they moved a screw and re-screwed the screw to open the latch location. WHAT??? 5)ASKED FOR IDEAS ON HOW TO QUIET THE WATER PUMP; They instead wrapped the water lines with a clamp and screwed them to the wood. DID NOT QUIET THE PUMP!!! Finally no charge!!! 6)CLEAN BOTH AWNINGS; We were told the moho was ready for pickup. told it would be a few minutes. We waited. Finally I decided to take a walk and look for our RV - I suspected something was up. Found guys just starting to clean the rv awnings. They hadn't started yet!!! Found the drivers door open and the keys in ignition and beeping away to deaf ears. 2 guys gathering supplies to clean the awnings!!! I asked if the cleaner needed to be applied and soak in about 10 to 15 minutes... they said yes!!!I reported my findings to the Service guy, he clearly said, " I ordered that at 8:30 this morning". It was 12:30. He hadn't checked on it! Awnings were still not dry the next day and several stains still present...especially on the bed awning, extremely still dirty!!! Joey (Service Rep) said no cost, he'd remove the $50.00. Still charged for the awnings on the final bill!!! Left a message for him to call. Hasn't called yet! 7)KITCHEN TABLE NEEDED TO BE MADE MORE STABLE; did not even look at it or report on it. After above issues we didn't ask again!!! OVERALL; 2nd day we went to pick up RV, we asked to check the awnings and othrer repairs. Yes, they were surprised. The main awning would not go out. BOTH RV BATTERIES DEAD!!!!!!!! UNABLE TO CHECK RV AWNING. THEY PLUGGED RV INTO EXTENSION CORD. STILL NO POWER! THEY FORGOT TO PLUG THE EXTENSION CORD INTO THE PLUG!!!!THEY SAID THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH OUR RV BATTERIES!!!????PROBLEM FOUND.....THEY FORGOT TO PLUG THE EXTENSION CORD FULLY INTO THE SOCKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Extremely poor Customer Service. Called to see if RV was ready for pickup. Phone recording said all lines busy and cut us off. Called again, left a message. Arrived 1 1/2 hrs later and our Service Rep was at lunch, we had to wait. He did not get the message. RV not ready, awnings not cleaned yet! Not even started to clean them yet, did not follow up to see if awnings were cleaned when he told us the RV was ready for pick up and did not tell us we couldn't pick up rig with OTHER Customer Service Rep????? EXTREMELY POORLY RUN SERVICE DEPT. We had to go back 3 days in a row to pick up our RV because of this poor service and still were charged for the dirty awnings. Talked to General Manager and the Service Manager came in... he actually showed up!!! GM didn't know about the phone issues. Service Manager was fully aware of the issues we were having for those 3 days, Still did not approach up to talk about the issues??? Yes, he was the MANAGER of that department. His way of running the Service Dept is to hide when unhappy customers are present. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RV REPAIRS AT THIS LOCATION. EXTREMELY POORLY ORGANIZED SERVICE AS WELL AS POORLY RUN SERVICE DEPARTMENT. POULSBO RV NEEDS A NEW SERVICE MANAGER!!! The place is a mess, items is store not priced, nails dumped in driving area of RVs for service, place is a dump and needs a good cleaning and a new start!!! RECOMMEND; CS EMPLOYEES NEED AN ATTITUDE CHECK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING. WHY CAN'T ANOTHER CS REP HELP A CUSTOMER OF ANOTHER CS REP??? MANY ISSUES HERE. Also employees removed my CD from the player and had used the CD player. Batteries were dead because they left on power and simply forgot to turn power off appropriately. They had to plug in RV...we were told by CS Rep. that we needed to wait to pickup the RV on Monday, he didn't want us to pick it up when he wasn't working. Nice location, nice GM, appears new, he heard our concerns and complaints, although he did not follow up with us to see if we were satisfied, he did not say he would do anything, just a thought!!!!!! read more

I would rate it less if I could. I was shopping for a used RV on a budget and had been pre-approved by my credit union. Through one thing and another, I ended up talking with the sales manager (the salesman I had been dealing with was at another store). After I looked at a 1995 Holiday Rambler on the lot fairly extensively, he told me 3 things: 1) he would consider the sale of the Vacationer a "cash" deal- I would go get the check and bring it back to him, then do my own leg work for the title. He did not offer me a choice and said clearly that I was getting terms from my credit union he wasn't familiar with, even though my credit union had assured me he does business with them all the time and would know all the terms. 2) He does not do pre-delivery or point of delivery inspections on older vehicles. When I expressed that I was simply interested in making sure the major systems were working before I bought it. He said "Well, then be sure you're comfortable before you drive it off the lot because the only person checking that will be you and [the salesman]". 3) He told me he did not know what the compressor in the drivers side forward storage was (my salesman didn't either). He did not offer to ask the service people, he did not offer to find out, he simply said "I have no idea" after he looked at it. These statements told me two things: a) that he was not interested in helping me purchase the RV and he did not want to waste time on someone who was shopping on a budget b) He has NO IDEA of the condition of a vehicle for sale on his lot and he did not want to find out. It floors me that Poulsbo RV would put up a vehicle for sale that they HAD NOT CHECKED OUT to ascertain the major systems were working, and then tell me IT COSTS TOO MUCH MONEY FOR THEM TO CHECK. How can you offer an RV for sale that you don't even know if it works on a basic level? It's either that or he knows good and well something is wrong with it and is hoping to pass it off on some unsuspecting buyer. Either way, its deplorable.And it was painfully obvious that he did not want me to buy the RV. Since the store can't even tell me whether or not the RV is in running condition (the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON by the way), it takes away any incentive I have for shopping at a dealership. The point of paying a dealer's inflated price is to get a vehicle that works well. I am better off shopping on Craig's list after all. I know they will reply with all kinds of excuses and reasons, but I am posting the true story. Ignore their BS reply and take your business somewhere else if you are shopping for a used RV!! read more

I just bought my Tiffin Motorhome in November. At 1st I was thrilled with the service. I loved my salesperson, and I seemed to get a good price. They sent me camping in it for a night to find things that needed to be fixed. I'm a 1st time RVer so I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for, but I did my best. The addressed all of my concerns promptly. They claimed to have the best RV techs and insisted everything had been looked at and inspected. Now I've only had the RV for 10 months, and I feel like it's being repaired constantly. I understand it's older (2008) so things will need repaired. That's expected. However, this last repair has me a little irritated. 3 days after I got it back from Poulsbo, the slideout leaked. Due to a faulty seal, water got into the slideout ceiling and leaked through the light over the table. Water was all over the table and the floor. Because it's a general wear and tear/maintenance issue, my warranty doesn't cover it. I was told it was "nobody's fault" that this seal was bad and that it's not even a seal that they generally look at. To see the seal one must get a flash light and look above the slideout but below the slideout cover/topper. The total cost for repair is over $3,000!!!! I haven't even had it a year! I feel like it's way too soon to have seals going bad. We oil/lubricate all the other seals as instructed. Perhaps I'm being to harsh with this review but after replacing the vacuum, fixing the toilet, having the refridgerator looked at 2x (and finally fixed the 2nd time), replacing thermostat sensors, fixing a lock on the bay door, fixing the holding tank that was falling through the floor, and now this in less than a year...I'm kind of over it. I'm a travel nurse, and I live in it. Taking it to the shop this often is more than an inconvenience. Now Tiffin has said if I drive it to Alabama they'll look at it and MAYBE help with the expense of fixing it. Who has time to drive to Alabama?!? I may look into another RV repair shop for a 2nd opinion. I had planned on possibly upgrading in a few years, but now I may just sell this one and be done. read more

This review is for service only and does not reflect any observations about sales and marketing of new and used motorhomes. I hired Poulsbo RV to check out a used 2001 Coachman Motorhome with 15,800 miles on it. I was told that for $360. All systems would be checked except the engine, driveline, and running gear. Several small items were found, along with a major item, the need of a new roof ($8,000). I agreed to pay for the small items plus the $500 deductible to the owners insurance company. We concluded the agreement at that time. After getting the motorhome to my residence, I found that the inverter was not working, the winterization system was not working, the drivers power window was still not working, and the TV system was not working. I brought the unit back to have these items addressed, but was told that the inspection didn't cover these items, thus I would have to pay for them myself. These items added together would have been a deal breaker in my purchase of the unit, had I known about them. So I ask, how could a $360. Inspection fail to address these basic systems? Everything I have read tells me that these have to be inspected when purchasing a used RV. So heads up that you don't learn this lesson the hard way, as I did. read more

They had a special to de-winterize your RV and give a free inspection. When I went to pick up the RV they told me of water leaks and gave me a $600 repair estimate. Having had leak problems previously that were fixed, I went back to my normal mechanic to get a second opinion. Sure enough, he went thru the whole coach with a leak detector and found no leaks. It has been several leak free, wet Seattle years since and still no leaks. I would not trust them with any repairs. I have even tried to get off their Spam list repeatedly and they won't take my name off. read more

I truly dislike this place. Went there yesterday to buy just a simple LP regulator from the parts department. The price at the cash register comes up higher than the posted price on the shelf. Everyone has a different experience when they go shopping for an RV. Unfortunately, only negative reviews seem to find their way on to Yelp. I researched the Internet for the make and model I believed would fit my needs the best. I even traveled to Portland, OR to see the Sprinter B-Class RV's from 3 different manufacturers side by side. My decision was to lean towards the E-Trek from Roadtrek since the entire coach runs of electric. Following the recommendation from Roadtrek to purchase local, I visited the Seattle RV-Show earlier this year. Poulsbo, RV from Everett had the E-Trek on display and the sales person Sean Williams stated that he would like to earn my business after I told him the Oregon story. He introduced me to the GM Randy and we came to terms, contingent upon some decisions from my side. The following Monday I again met with Sean and his manager Mike to seal the deal. Not only did I get a very good price, they also took my 40ft RV as trade-in to the price I wanted for it. Overall I cannot complaint about Poulsbo RV and their stuff. I had a perfect experience and will recommend this dealership to friends and family. read more

Came home found the same RV is on sale $45000 less then he was trying to sell it to me. I would not recommend this dealer to do business. read more

So we took the trailer in. I explained how disappointed we were in the previous service. Meredith said she'd have our trailer fixed in two days. She called us the next day to let us know that our toilet was fixed. The second day, Meredith called again to tell us the trailer was done. We picked the trailer up and it was all fixed!! I am still disappointed in the fact that they had our trailer for six weeks the first time. This time however, I am impressed with the service! read more

The good and the bad... The good: We bought our first hard-side trailer from Poulsbo RV after having tent trailers for several years. The salesman was very helpful in steering us to units that would match and not over-tax our tow vehicle. He also made sure we looked at units that fit our needs, as my wife is handicapped. Once the sale was done, he welcomed us to call if there were any questions or problems. The bad: In spring of this year, they offered a free inspection. I figured, "why not?" I took it in, and when they were done, they told me there was freeze damage to the toilet valve (even though I purged the water system), and it would have to be replaced. I figured they knew what they were talking about, so I ponied up the $300 for the job. turns out the old valve was fine. They broke the end of the spout on the kitchen faucet, and jury-rigged with a new screw, as they didn't have the part on hand. They promised they would get it and call me. They never did. When we went on our first trip of the season, the first time I turned on the kitchen faucet, the end of the spout shot off, and I was sprayed with water. I was able to fix it so it stayed on (good ol' duct tape!). To their credit, they replaced the entire faucet at no cost. The bathroom faucet also leaked. We were camping 200 miles away, but I was able to find a washer to repair that leak at a local hardware store. During that same visit, the service rep tried to sell me a new roof, saying that the tech found tears in the rubber roof membrane. I was told my insurance would "probably" cover the cost. I declined, and, once home, I inspected the roof closely. I found two minute tears, each less than an inch long on the left edge of roof. I could tell these were what they were talking about, because the tech had marked them with blue crayon. they were easily repaired with the application of patch material purchased at Doug's RV in Startup, WA. When I called for later service, they again tried to sell me the roof replacement! I had to take it in midway through the season, because the electric element in the water heater burned out. This they covered under the extended warranty that came with the unit. All good until we went on our next trip. My wife and I noticed a smell of propane near the water heater. After checking all the fittings with soapy water, I found that the main gas connection to the heater had not been screwed on!f The flanged end of the line was stuck in the proper hole, but the nut was just sitting on the line! I tightened it down, and all was fine. The motto of the service department seems to be: "they are going out with a bill, no matter what!" Suffice it to say, I will not be doing business with Poulsbo RV again. read more

We purchased our new Dynamax Force Super "C" from Poulsbo RV in November of 2015. I wanted to wait to write this review until our first year was complete. If I was only rating the sales and delivery side of the transaction, I would give them 5 STARS. The only reason I knocked off one star in the overall experience is because of the service department. The customer service rep that was assigned to me (Joey) has been great to work with. What has been frustrating has been the lack of any of the other service advisor being willing to help when Joey was not available. I have purchased multiple RVs from multiple dealerships through the years and can honestly say, that Randy and the team at Poulsbo in Everett have been the best. read more

Our warranty expires on the 13th of this month. We brought in our R-pod three weeks ago for a leaky faucet - still haven't repaired it and now we won't get it back until the warranty expires. Coincidence? Won't be able to take it out camping again until the warranty expires so won't know if there is anything new wrong with it. All told it will have taken a MONTH to repair a leaky faucet. read more

Unfortunately, as a consumer my only power is where i choose to spend my money. This is the worst experience I have ever had in customer service, or lack of. It would be comical, worthy of a Sienfeld episode, if they hadn't held our RV hostage for 3 months during vacation season. One worthless excuse after another. A tremendous display of inept employees at every level. Failing to meet 2 schedules for our summer trips I'm considering spending my planned vacation time to picket their place of business. I can not recommend them to anyone I like, and will never spend another dollar, who am I kidding...another cent at Polsbo RV in Everett. Funny enough the Mount Vernon location has been a great experience for us though. If you want to test your new blood pressure try using them otherwise avoid them like the plague. read more

I called for a part and talked with parts. The guy said they had them so I drive from Seattle to Everett. Guess what? They didn't have any of what I asked for. He said he was 'swamped' from summer and was flabbergasted by the amount of 3 or 4 customers there (maybe he just rides the clock the other 9 months of the year). He couldn't answer any questions really and couldn't go outside to look at anything because he was 'swamped'. Pretty much he wasted a quarter tank of my gas and 2 hours of my time. read more

I had some extensive fiberglass work done on the drivers corner of my Alfa. They did a great job and all the staff were very professional and informative. The worked well with my insurance company and were prompt with the work. They did a perfect job on the repair down to paint and decal matching. They went above and beyond with extra things I needed to have taken care of at little or no charge. All this is not to mention the lifetime warranty on all the work they did. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area with need of repairs. Even if I have to save a few up for when I get there. Thank you Margaret (service adviser) for your help and thanks to the whole crew. I am comfortable knowing these guys can take care of any issue I may have with my Class A Motorhome.
