Went to wash my large Comforter, Their "x-large" washers are smaller than the one I have at home (they do have extra large dryers though if you care more about your clothes being dry than clean). Still tried because I was already theretried 3 of their washers and none of the doors latched. Finally left after I saw they wanted 25 quarters for 25 minutes. read more

The lady who owns/ manages the place was nice enough to confirm they have a gentle cycle for some of my clothes. Kudos for that. When I got there, I found that 3 of the smaller (cheaper) washers' doors don't close because the latch had been bent up (see picture). One of the doors was completely missing. Another gentleman told me in Spanish that "the machines steal our money because they don't work." And that sometimes the dryers do the same. Make sure it works before you feed it quarters. This was my first time using this laundry mat but I am familiar with laundry mats because I use them weekly. I have a King sized comforter that I wash bi-weekly and I've never had a problem until coming here, I used my normal wash routine, cycle, soap/fabric softener as I do all the time it came out of the washer just fine, clean and smelling great. I put it into one of the dryers on low heat and for 30 mins perusals And when I grabbed it outta the dryer it was like the cotton was burn inside of the comforter it was crusty feeling and stiff, then I opened it and my comforter was destroyed. Then I realized the patter side was burn looking making the white turn grey I will not be using this laundry mat until someone contacts me to make this right. read more

Their maxi commercial load washers supposedly were triple and above loads in one washer, not the case at all. My washer ar home could holdore then those washers and they charged 24 quarters for justbone wash. One washer didnt even dispense my detergent so mt clothes snd socks syill smelled gross after 40 min of not qashing them. Thsn to go ro the dryers cost 25cents for 5 minutes but 3 of those switch to cool down mode so you are forced to putbin more money to actually get heat when drying your clothes. I would give them zero stars 0 I put my clothes in the washing machine two different one's a four dollar one and a two dollar one to 30 minutes 8:30 PM they were done three dryers a dollar apiece first on warm then on high 25 minutes later the clothes were still soaking wet not a single dryer but even reached A cool temperature I moved to two more dryers put in another dollar apiece it is now 20 after 10 I have two single items that are still wet drying $14 Wash and dry one basket of clothes just say no go somewhere else read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! I would give ZERO stars if I could. While their hours are great, they are all too strict about their closing time. I had 10 minutes left on my drying cycle and was forced to leave under threat of setting off the alarm! I would have been done on time, if their dryers worked properly. My clothes now smell like mildew, I wasted $12 in their over-priced machines and now have to rewash my clothes at a proper laundromat. F*** this place! read more

Got $300 worth of laundry stolen. I've had two machines be out of order after I paid $4.00, vending machines are constantly empty, no bathrooms or sinks, poorly managed, outdated advertisements for businesses out of business. I've been coming here for years only because I live across the street. This morning my laundry got stolen, so that is the last straw. I shops have stopped going years ago. If I could give no stars, I would!! I spent $5.00 on a machine that failed to start...took my laundry out to put in another machine that worked but didn't spin my clothes out, another $5.00 to put in a dryer with a broken element!! I left a note for the manager as it states to do so on the sign-there is no number to call. No response! I went online and left another message via email AND no response!! Apparently this is how they make extra money off people. Be prepared to donate money to these people if you are using their equipment. Often, broken with no signs indicating so and extremely unprofessional owners. $20.00 down the drain and in their pocket. Our first time here from out of town. We put two loads in the "double load" washers. A half-hour later we had clean, but sopping wet, clothes. I could squeeze water out with my hands. I guess this is a good way to generate dryer revenue. If it was one washer, I'd chalk it up to a bad washer. But two??? This is the cleanest and most friendly coin operated laundry in Fort Collins, The place is amazingly clean and well maintained. The large machines and ample dryers make for in and out self serve laundry at it's best. Oh, they have free internet and soda machine on premises. read more

I travel frequently for business, and I find the need to do laundry from time to time when my stay in a city is extended unexpectedly. The Poudre Valley Laundry not only served to refresh my clothes, but also my faith that an unmanned, coin-operated business can still be run with professionalism and care. I have been there a total of three times, and with each visit it was obvious that the owner appreciates the customer because the place is CLEAN. In addition to the quality machines and fair pricing, the dryers are hot, and the dryer timers are honest. The soda machine was well-stocked and cheap, and I found the parking to be easy as well. I am a 41 year old business owner. This is the 1st time in my life I have done a review on a business. I needed to do laundry somewhere being that my laundry machine is temporarily not working. This place is horrible! There was water all over the floor. The washers I used did not properly clean my clothes. And to top it all off, the dryers sucked every last penny out of my pocket and took waaaay too long. The heat barely worked as if it were purposely set up that way. I finally had to quit and settled for folding semi wet clothes. There is no phone number to contact staff for the owner of this dump. There is no bathroom, water fountain, or even a sink to wash your hands. Please find another laundrymat to go to and save yourself the frustration. This is my warning to you! There was no one in there but me, and I think I know why. Everyone else was at a much better laundrymat (any laundrymat). read more
