I try these hotdogs over n over they don't really live up to the other Potts their rolls are usually hard on the ends or falling apart and their hot dogs seem like they been sitting all day I keep trying because they are close to my house but I may just have to go to the other ones to get better quality read more

Not a big fan...the hot dogs are way to shriveled and overdone. When they put the hot dogs on the buns, the bun is so saturated and wet it's disgusting. And the rolls aren't even that good, you can tell it's poor quality. I live in Northampton and I despise of this place. read more

I went in looking to fund raise for a local community event. I explained our event is free, the type of event it was and that we were looking for a gift card or certificate to help us add fireworks to the last night of our free Northampton community event. The man told me very loudly that he listened to my bullshit now I was going to listen to his. The owner Mark showed me a news paper article on how he raised $20k for a kid with cancer. he told me that's what he helps. Then Mark said he did not want to help the community days or varsity foot ball team or every community event, because the community costs him thousands of dollars this way. A person outside the shop asked me if I was okay because he yelled so loudly at me. I wont be supporting this shop as it doesn't support the community that got it where it is. read more

I cannot believe how rude this place is to anyone with a gluten allergy. Stephanie REFUSED to give us a hotdog without the bun. She said they must provide it with a bun, or it violates the health code. She also refused to put any toppings on the side because they didn't have cups or anything to put them in. I am sickened by the lack of empathy these employees had with making the order GF. In the end, our twenty-five hot dog orders went to Yocco's on Catasaqua St., who were very accommodating. They even said they switched out gloves to ensure no cross-contamination. Later, we decided to call Pott's of Northampton back to allow the owner to rectify the situation. We were told the owner would call us right back. We never got a call from the owner, so we called back again. Vienna (I believe that was her name) said the owner was on vacation. We asked her for the owner's name, but the lady refused to give it out. I wonder why. We found their names online, Mark and Bobby Mazziotta. Vienna said she was only a worker following orders but wouldn't tell us whose orders she was following. Instead, she kept saying, "What do you want me to do? I'm only a worker". She even told us how much she makes per hour because she's only an employee. In the end, we have yet to reach the owners. I called Bethlehem Pott's doggie shop (different owners) to see if it was a thing with these doggie shops. They said they would gladly accommodate the GF allergy. We were lied to by the Northampton shop's employees because no other place said handing over a hotdog without a bun would be a health code violation. read more

Great hometown business. Always want to see them succeed, hence the reason for the review. Dog not too bad, but would make a big difference if they had the rolls in a warmer. Nice addition are the fries, although I hope they didn't change them... recently they were not quite the same. My better half was grossed out though with the lack of cleanliness when we decided to eat in the dining room. The walls, carpet, vents etc. were a mess. Especially the walls where you eat. A couple of cheap changes, ( just a good cleaning) would go a long way to make sure they stay around. I sure hope so!! read more

I went in to order for my family, there were six people behind the counter, 2 were working w/ masks below their noses, 2 were eating. 2 were just standing around talking without masks on. It was so loud, I couldn't even yell my order to the cashier who was less than 2 feet in front of me. The man working the grill was loud and obnoxious. The woman yelling the orders was less than friendly, I needed to repeat myself at least six times because of the endless chatter. It was like Coffee klatch behind that counter!. I asked for cheese sauce on the side so the fries were not soggy, it's not allowed. Getting salt packets and ketchup was as though I was asking for a free cheesesteak! Basic doggie shop here in the valley, with friendly staff, the food is always hot and taste fresh (no setting 4 hours on the grill dogs here) when I call a pick up order in. Hotdog tuesdays are great, $1 everything dogs (onion, mustard, chilli sauce). Imho these are just as good as Yocco's, and I don't have to head into Allentown. read more

Hot dog was ok. Roll was cold and dried out. Asked for a water had none on a 90 degree day.

Did not like the hot dogs at this location they were cold and they barely put a teaspoon of chili sauce on them. The customer service could of been better. I prefer the Pott's hot dogs in Nazareth! read more

I've always enjoyed the food and my grandmother loves the hot dogs here. Unfortunately, I have not and will not return to this location after an employee and who I believe may be one of the owners made very inappropriate comments. To add some background, I ordered by saying "I'll do two hot dogs" and he said something to the effect of how I wanted to "do" my hot dogs and how I should do that at home if I wanted to and not in the store. And I ordered the same way when asking for a soda and he kept going on and on about how I wanted to "do" my soda too. I was so flustered and it was extremely inappropriate, especially since I was with my grandmother. Because of this I don't feel comfortable going back into this store even though he was joking around. It was very unprofessional and completely ruined the reputation and my view of the establishment. read more

As a native to the lehigh valley area I grew up on these dogs. The service is fast and friendly here. I always have a large order and they take care of us. Need to wash these dogs (everything on them) down with a chocolate milk! read more

This place is hit or miss. But it's not too bad and it's cheap. Not as good as yoccos in my opinion.

We visited the shop on Sunday afternoon and were totally disgusted with what we saw while there. 2 teenagers were working, the boy on the grill wore a tank top and no apron (a health code violation) That was minor compared to what we saw on the big screen TV in the shop. The volume was quite high, was hard to hear the workers for our order. The movie on the TV showed brief nudity and foul language, every other word. There were several elderly couples who had also entered the shop with us and quickly got their food and left. Thankfully we had not brought our 3yo grand daughter with us as we had planned. We changed our order to go and left quickly. I believe action should be taken and management be advised of what is occurring in their store. read more

The prices are great, the food quality is inconsistent. Sometimes the hot dogs are way overdone and the rolls aren't fresh. The French fries and pierogis are always great! It's very casual, not the most comfortable seating, decor is lacking and the layout of the restaurant is awkward. They don't take cards so it always means an extra stop at the ATM for us. i bought a chilli dog and some fries today... the dog was absolutly delicious. and the chilli is awesome! the bread wasn't soggy and gross. and the fries were just the added touch i needed for a great meal. staff and workers were really friendly and nice too! will definately be back =) read more

Walked in there and saw about 100 hot dogs all shriveled up and out in the grill. Looked like they have been out for hours and possibly like they might just re heat the old ones the next day. It was a lot and not that many people even eat there. Got a hot dog anyways because I was crazy hungrey. Ended up in the ER the next day due to food poisen and severe dehydration from exsesive vomiting. Def will never eat there again. Also I must add, the women working at the time didn't look very professional -It was more of a hygine thing. read more

Doggies are great along with the rest of the menu. It's not an extensive menu but it's a hot dog shop not a restaurant. Mark and the gang are always hospitable and go out of their way to accommodate. Place is always clean and enjoyable. Definitely worth the stop. Go Irish!! read more

This review is for their new location on Cherryville Road. Nicest person there was the young girl (high school) who took the order. Rude older woman came over and tallied our order into the register and started ringing another customer's items on the counter. We had to inform them of this. Was not pleasant when taking money. Had to wait a total of 10 minutes for food (6 hot dogs already on the grill with 40 others and 3 order of french fries). No fountain drinks available and the cooler was only 1/4 full. An oler gentleman came giving our take out bag and walked away. No thank you. The taste of the hot dog was like if it was boiled. they had the hot dogs all cooking on aluminum foil so you don't get the good, full grill taste of a hot dog. The fries were OK but you get more at any other fast food chain for a lesser price. Will not return. And by WFMZ's hot dog contest they ran are not the best hot dog in the Valley.
