    Narro chair and deep couch.
    Laura B.

Was looking for a new couch. I found the Turner online so came to this store to try it. Spent a lot of time with swatches and styles and depth. In the end we ordered the narrow depth for a chair and a couch. After waiting 8 weeks I got a narrow chair and a deep couch. I verbally confirmed the depth multiple times with the sales person and she acknowledged but the receipt doesn't include depth. After multiple back and forths I was told the couch only comes in the deep depth. I never would have ordered it. It's also really uncomfortable. Maybe in a year when it softens it will be better but right now it's miserable. It was also expensive and their customer service is horrible. One person says we made a mistake and will give you a refund. The next says no that's denied. A third says we will give you a $700 credit but it voids your warranty and sends a link to a furniture repair place that they keep saying if you accept the refund for our mistake you have to pay. So now I'm stuck with mismatched furniture. Shop somewhere else. You'll be a lot happier.

Sales people are indifferent and at times condescending that is if they acknowledge you at all!

There are so many beautiful, high-quality pieces (writing desks, curio cabinets, a really cool grandfather clock) I wanted to take home, but I had to restrain myself and stick with my mission...a new couch. We found a gorgeous, oversized, squishy, comfy loveseat with 4 oversized, squishy, comfy pillows and this thing has some weight to it. A nice, solid piece of furniture. I also gave in and grabbed an absolutely gorgeous set of desk lamps that look like flowers. There were a couple of other couches I really liked and each came with a matching chair but this loveseat was just way more than I was even expecting to find. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this shop.

They do this thing where they call it a "sale". So they mark it like 130 and then tell you anything over 20 dollars is 75 percent off. I don't know if they do this for tax purposes or not, but it's a complete sh$& show at the register. It adds up like you went to target! The nice lady who writes it all down and uses a calculator is sweet, but I was having palpitations from the heat and it was a very slow process. Can we just please put the prices on items at their cost and not this BS "sale" that you've had for years now. Great shop, lots of stuff! But I don't be back. Place is a fire hazard as well. Hate to do this to a small business, but when I feel slighted by one I'm not going to sugar coat my experience.

I have boxes with matching patterns, Elfa closets, stands, Knick Knacks, drawer labels, dry goods storage systems, and everything to organize my life. So then we moved to the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. We did furnish our new house closets with awesome Elfa systems, ceiling to floor. We did it ourselves, as I don't trust contractor installers and we can do a better and more exact job. However, we had to go almost two hours and I've been missing my favorite store (besides Bed Bath and beyond.... And now there is one within just over an hour from me at Tuscan Village. So I decided to go for my dose of OCD.... First, the setting. It's like leaving New Hampshire and getting into Fairfax County or Arlington VA, or Palo Alto or Cupertino CA. Upscale stores galore, sprawl condos and the works. And The Container Store is right in the middle of them. The staff was quite friendly and knowledgeable. The store is smaller than many other Container Stores, but still taking advantage of the footprint. Elfa has matured into storage systems for everything, closets, garage, kitchen, etc. Then the desk and home storage supplies, and lastly, the soooooo many trinkets and devices to make organization possible, from computer cord organizers to power strip boxes to hide them from view. After two hours and a couple of hundred dollars leaving my wallet, I left content that I can go back for values, sales and more organizing at home.
