My wife and I drove around Graham looking for a dinner spot and ended up here. We were a little…read moreapprehensive to stop because on a Saturday evening at 630pm there was only a single car parked out front. Once inside though, we were relieved to see a couple other tables occupied. The dining room looks dated with vinyl table clothes and fake flowers. Some tables had fold up metal chairs which seemed out of place. We would have enjoyed some background music which seemed lacking. Our server helped us with their extensive menu of most any Italian dish you can think of. We started with a couple glasses of their house red wine. Shortly thereafter came a basket of bread that looked freshly baked but seemed to be missing something. Maybe more garlic? My wife ordered the chicken aristocrat that had a blush sauce. I went with spaghetti basil. Our entrees appeared in no time. The portions were huge and we could have just shared one. Both dishes were ok but seemed to be lacking someth We thought about desert but decided to go looking for an ice cream joint in town instead. Service was good the entire time and prices seemed fair.

We flew to the…read moreairport right next to this place, hopped the barbed wire fence, and were there around 2pm on a Saturday. The green chili cheeseburger was recommended by several helpers. I was skeptical, but this was a shockingly GREAT burger. A hand/formed patty, and you could definitely taste the green chilies. They were not hot, but provided great smoky flavor. A bit of bacon, lettuce, onion and cheese rounded out this burger perfectly. I will be thinking about this burger for a while, and probably should never go back bc it won't live up to this expectation again. The onion rings were on point too--Hand battered. A minor quibble would be they could have been sliced a bit thinner. I didn't love the high top tables and chairs that seemed a bit wobbly. Bathroom was clean (a lighted light switch would be a great improvement since that bathroom is dark.) Service was good and fast.

When we first walked in, the person working at the bar politely greeted us and welcomed us in, it was refreshing. I'd say our experience with our waitress was between a three and a four. She did provide our food to us and made sure the drinks were refilled, but she wasn't very personable. I ordered the chicken nachos and they were delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed them and would give them a five 5. I loved the white cheese that came with them and their guacamole tasted very good to me. They were listed as an appetizer, and there was enough to clearly share between two or three people, and so I wasn't able to finish them all, but they were very good. The only thing I was disappointed about was that the restaurant did not provide salsa, but the chicken nachos were so good by themselves, I really didn't need that. My husband had a club sandwich and he would give it a four 4. He said it was very meaty and well prepared. He did enjoy their french fries because he said they tasted both hot and fresh. Two children's plates were ordered at our table, the fried catfish and a hamburger , and both of them seemed to like them very well. Overall, I'm glad they were there and that my family and I were able to go in and have a decent meal together while we were out of town. Go north.
