The spa was spotless and looked brand new and upscale.. I knew right away I wouldn't have to worry about cleaniness. The receptionist was easy to work with and gave me a quick tour of the spa. The sauna and shower/washroom looked brand new. They offer spa packages with sauna but I didn't partake this time. The table was warm and clean, nice music was playing and the ambiance was nice. My masseuse was Lucy and she gave me one of the best massages of my life. She has excellent skills and I was glad I had someone so experienced working on me. Her experience was very apparent and appreciated. She responded very well to feedback. Yes, there, that's good, more pressure here, less pressure there. Just point out your problem areas at the start of your session. I mixed it up, mostly deep tissue with some hot stones, last 15 mins reflexology. I plan on visiting as much as I can. She referred me to Dr Yang at Rejuvinations Wellness. Dr Yang asked me to send her a picture of my tongue so she could prepare the right herbs for me. I know TDM docs often look at the tongue, so I didn't think this was strange at all! Based on the photo, she sent me two packets of herbs; one preventative, the other in case of fever. I haven't had a fever in at least 10 yrs. Well, I got a fever and sore throat mid July... I immediately took the "fever" herbs and of course did other sensible things like rest, plenty of fluids, chicken soup,... The sore throat went away within hours, the fever was gone in a day and a half and other than feeling tired for a few days, I didn't have any other symptoms. I don't know what it was, but I'm getting another batch of the herbs. Did I mention I haven't had a fever in 10 yrs... They are not cheap, but truthfully, my health is worth it.
