We've enjoyed several fires during this abnormally cold winter. Would recommend this company they know what they're doing.

I called again so that I could make an appointment for the work they said need to be done on the outside of our Chimney. Still waiting for a response. This is something that has to be done in warmer weather because of the bricks and outside Chimney work. I will update my review when the job is completed. Which includes setting up an appointment for the additional work need outside of my Chimney with the brick work. I do appreciate their honesty about for safety reasons to not use the fireplace.

Paid $3650 to C A C for 140 sq ft concrete slab. Work initially seemed ok but we were left with a…read morebit of mess which turned into a spot of bother. CAC workers were on time and showed up reliably, which was helpful. The front and back of slab were plumb, no issues - but the left and right sides were not square as measured using the 3-4-5 square method, creating a problem for tile work. The discrepancy was enough to delay tile install by another contractor. It had to be made right or the tile surface would have been uneven and unattractive. When asked to inspect his work product and make it right, the owner Carlos responded that his measurements were perfect and he had made no mistakes. What could have been resolved with action and accuracy instead led us to hire someone we trust (a different yelp-verified business) who squared the slab and lumpy surround expertly. Their work wasn't bad but the part that wasn't good was mishandled with a closed attitude, unpleasant communication and delays. Finally we recovered $300 of the $450 we incurred to fix the surface and get on with tiling. But not without stress or dramatics. C A C Masonry owner used pressure tactics to get me to remove my factual review, and when I sent his text to Yelp Business, they encouraged me to repost. Their message in photos. Gary prioritizes speed over quality and it shows in the concrete patio that he installed…read more Gary and his team were able to complete the project in one day - which I appreciate - but this was at the expense of properly cleaning up the mess left in my yard and the quality of the patio. Initially, a small pit was left in the concrete next to my A/C unit which left a puddle pooling up on the side of my house. I called Gary, and to his credit he did come back and fix it, but that and the discoloration in the concrete and the noticeable texture marks could all be prevented if proper time was taken in the installation. These are all minor issues. For his price maybe that is what I should expect. What was annoying was Gary and his team left a mess in my yard including food and drinks, an old t-shirt, mixed cement on my fence, a massive rut on my yard from his buggy, and a whole lot of clay which we had agreed would be taken out. Also his team used my shovels and pickaxe - which is totally fine - but then took one of my shovels and Gary ignored my text asking for it back. Pretty dick thing to do. Use Gary's team if you want a job done fast and you don't mind cleaning up after their mess or losing your equipment.
