Horrible experience with them. We placed a group order three days ahead. They were 2 hours late, and multiple phone calls just got excuse after excuse. I will never use them again. Don't take large orders if you don't have the staff to meet your commitments. Please try resending your message later, or contact the recipient directly. So again, pretty lousy customer service. The incompetence is stunning. The saga continues, but in a good way. Conveniently located for those of us downtown in the Park Shops. There is almost always a huge line and for good reason - they make great sandwiches. Simply smelling the food while I was in there made me even more hungry and the smell aligns with the quality of the taste - simply put they are mouthwatering and delicious. I was introduced to Potbellys on a delayed flight to Chicago with my sister. Like the scariest cat I am I tops her they would leave without her and like the boss she literally is she bought us a sandwich and chips to share and a strawberry milkshake that was oh so good. She got the wreck and I protested against the roast beef, which I don't like, and neither does she :/. She coaxed me to take a bite and I did. The smile was spontaneous and I gladly accepted my half which was huge. So yum. Fast forward to my life in Houston and I can rarely find a good Potbelly except this one. I got the turkey club sandwich, turkey, mayo, light mustard, lettuce. Bacon, and tomato. Get it! The chips are Zappos (sp?) and they are gooooood! The salt and vinegar chips are good. The milkshake was thick shake and delicious. I enjoyed my meal! That being said, there are a lot of Potbellys I Houston. All of them are bad except this one! I loved the sandwich here! The sandwich was very very good! I had it with a Sprite. I also ordered broccoli cheese soup, chili, and chicken pot pie soup. All the souls are so delicious! 10!10 would recommend. Was in the process of placing my order and was told to wait because they would forget how I wanted my sandwich made, sandwich was started and I specifically stated I did not want a hot sandwich, well they didn't care because that is exactly what I got. I explained that it was not what I wanted when I got it and it fell on deaf ears, the cashier made no attempt to apologize and just asked for payment. I paid because I had to get back to work. My favorite part about the experience at this place is just room to stretch out with your laptop and your food - those booths in the back corner are awesome for getting work done and stuffing your face, and I do love my multitasking. The food quality is meh. But I do love being able to add the hot peppers to my meh sandwich, that almost upgrades it to eh/alright. But then comes the soda fountain - this thing is haunted, the soda is always tasting wrong and I demand soda satisfaction. I was going to give one star but there are limited "fast food" options right here since (a) I boycott Chick Fil A due to their homophobic and religious right wing intolerance and (b) Doozo just makes bad food and they should feel bad for it. The food here is okay but the service is slow and not much better than nonexistent. I stopped by one afternoon and waited about 5 minutes for someone behind the counter to acknowledge me, even though there were two people working, both of whom made eye contact. Eventually, when one announced he was going to the bathroom, the other walked to the counter and asked what I wanted. There was no acknowledgment of my order, a take out for two for a meeting. I questioned whether he actually heard me. Eventually the food arrived ready for me to carry out, but as I was handed the food, he never repeated the order to me. I dunno -- maybe he was psychic or had a total recall memory, but either way, it would have been nice to give a nod or a simple "ok" . Yes, I AM reviewing Potbelly WHILE I eat my sandwich, so pardon the crumbs. I'm like one of those people who really, really wants to try new things, but this conflicts with my fear of disappointment. So, when I find something I love, I have a tendency to stick with what I know. With that being said, I have only ever consumed three things from Potbelly: The Turkey Sandwich (in various forms such as thin, skinny, and original), the broccoli cheese soup, and the chocolate brownie cookie. I love all three of these things! The staff at this Potbelly are SUPER friendly and during lunch time when it is really busy, they knock the customers out pretty quick while maintaining their friendly attitudes. I'm sort of a regular at this point. Now, I just gotta get my check-ins to reflect this. read more

If you're in the area and needing something sweet you have to try the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. It is very appetizing and gets the job done. Hello, so I work in the same building as this potbelly's and our building had a giveaway where they gave away 50 $10 gift cards for potbelllys. My coworker and I were two of the 50. Today we went in and just ordered milkshakes, order came to $5 and the woman at the front with the mole on her face had an attitude before we even spoke to her. She said the card was not working and I was willing to pay and she threw the gift card and said "Dont worry about it just go". I've worked in customer service and I know that sometimes you're having a bad day and just don't want to be bothered with people but don't take it out on people who haven't done anything but be nice and understanding to you. The girl told her coworker to "find someone else to do it" when her coworker asked for help with the front during lunch hour. I won't be coming back and I don't recommend anyone deal with her. A voicemail or text earlier in the day so we could reschedule or make other plans would have simply been been good customer service. Came here today for a late lunch after the crowd cleared. It's like an upgraded Subway. I got the grilled chicken and cheese with bacon flatbread, chips and a drink for $9. I go to breakfast most mornings with a co-worker who doesn't like breakfast food (I know, I can't understand it either). These guys made her a tuna on wheat this morning without blinking an eye. They not only didn't blink an eye, they did it cheerfully. Beyond that, they make that most wonderful of breakfast sandwiches the BELT (bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato). I like mine with a little hot sauce. Besides being a really great sandwich, I get a kick out of ordering a BELT for breakfast!! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE their Sugar Cookies. It's just the perfect little dessert after their tasty sandwiches. The only con is that it's packing 550 calories in one cookie :( So I usually take a few pieces here and there and savor it through out the day. For sandwiches, I normally get the skinny turkey with mushroom or the mushroom melt with turkey, tomatoes, lettuce and a little mayo on top (551 calories equivalent to 1 sugar cookie, believe it or not). The bread is delicious and they toast it perfectly so the cheese is melted on just right. The mixture of cheeses are so savory...can't go wrong with this combo. read more

My boyfriend order the Italian big which comes with capicola, mortadella, pepperoni, salami & minus the mozzarella cheese. is a big sandwich. totally for men. The sandwiches are pretty good; (the bread is warm & fresh) as well as the chips. it is nice cozy place to sit, enjoy your food, bring your laptop and relax. Looked at the menu and compared to Subway or Quiznos, there isn't much variety, but I decided to get the roast beef sandwich. Now I know what the fuss is about with this place. The warm sandwiches that Potbelly makes taste fresher and yummy. I also liked the price, of course it differs from what sandwich you get, but my lunch was under five bucks. The portion of the regular sandwich also lasted me for dinner, so I would rather go here than a Subway or Quiznos. read more
