Our visit to Potato Corner started with my husband lighting up the second he saw the menu. This was his childhood in the Philippines, now sitting in the middle of North Point Mall. We ordered a couple of different options, and from the first bite, it was clear these were not your average fries. They came out hot and fresh, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, with seasoning that actually clings to every fry instead of disappearing into the bottom of the cup. The flavors were bold in the best way. Rich, savory, and just a little over the top, which is exactly what you want. It reminded me of the shaker fries you can get at McDonald's overseas, but turned up a notch. More flavor, more texture, more fun. The loopy fries were especially great, with all those twists holding onto even more of that cheddar goodness. My husband's mix brought him right back to being a kid, which honestly made the whole experience even better to watch. The kiosk itself was clean, the staff was friendly and efficient, and everything moved quickly without feeling rushed. It is the kind of simple, no fuss setup that lets the food do the talking, and the food definitely has something to say. The only bittersweet part is the setting. The mall feels quieter than it probably once was, and you cannot help but wonder how long spots like this will stick around. Maybe that is part of the charm. The best potato fries in the world! Crisp to perfection and I usually add the sour cream and onion seasoning. This might be the only location in Georgia! They have so many different seasoning options it's phenomenal. Portions are pretty generous and it comes in a to go box so easy to get to leftovers. Service aligned with foot traffic. It's located inside the mall so not much ambiance but good to be around other stores. read more

Our family loves coming here. The fries are so delicious. We always end up with left over cos our kids love all their bbq seasoning fries and would continue to eat till all runs out. I see many posts complaining about services. I haven't had any problem with any of the guys there. I was super hungry and decided to try this little place in the food court. The employee had on a mask and they did follow all CDC guidelines OTHER than the employee using his phone then touching the machinery then touching my bowl then touching the bag. GRANTED he never touched my food so I was like ehh alright I can wash my hands before and after I eat. The Garlic Parmesan seasoning on the tater tots & curly fries are BOMB! They're strawberry lemonade was so refreshing after eating my snack. 4 stars because the food was bomb, but customer service was TRASH. Would I go back? If I had a reason to be in the mall again I would, but I don't see myself going back to the mall anytime soon. Maybe franchise out? Especially since Malls will probably be obsolete soon. read more

Standing in line at a nearby competitor in the food court, I witnessed them selling food to another patron. When I went back to questioned them, they all tried to play as dumb as they looked. I wish they had more of their branches in other malls as well. My 2 year old toddler keeps telling me "mall potato" lol All of us are obsessed with potato corner. The different textures and flavors are amazing. I love spicy so I usually order chilli barbeque which is great. I only wished that since it is customizable, they could do half n half of the flavor as the rates are same. But they don't. I just didn't understand why. Omg they were the best tator tots I've ever had. So of course I had to buy some. I got the medium size (mega?) It was actually a big portion for 1 person, but enough for 2 people. However, I felt like the food took forever to come out and when they did finally come out they were cold. This place is definitely a good surprise!! We came to North Point Mall because my friends and I were an hour early for the movies. So we decided to walk around. Of course we wanted something to snack on before the movies, so we went to the food court. Everything just seemed too heavy and we almost decided not to eat. But the young gentleman from the Potato Corner offered us samples and we couldn't resist the free samples! What he gave us got us hooked -- sour cream and bbq tater tots. We actually aren't fans of tater tots, but enjoyed it a lot! When we came to order, we decided to get the mega size regular French fries mixed with sour cream and bbq seasoning. It's so good!! What I love the most is the fact they baked their fries. So it's healthier! YAY. Trying to diet is hard.. so this is a little cheat. A little run down about this place. Everyone who works there are very nice and help you out. You start off by choosing the size you want. Next, the type of potatoes. They have different types of potatoes you can order - straight fries, curly fries, rather tots, and chips. After, you choose the seasonings. I honestly don't recall all of it.. Really good fresh fries. They have multiple flavors and multiple cuts so you can customize. However, if you don't like any of the flavorings, you can ask for them plain. They also have baked potatoes. I enjoy stopping by whenever I'm at North Point Mall. I'm a fry snob and love them. To me there's nothing better than a piping hot, fresh fry. All are cooked to order. It's almost like going to the fairground without leaving the mall. One note: I saw another review claiming they're baked.... sorry, no. They're all fried like any other fry. You can literally see their frying equipment (enclosed fryer) behind the counter so I'm not sure where that person got the impression from. Stop by and grab a delicious sample! I went here about 3 minutes before they opened and asked what time they open and the guy (The Manager by the way) said 11 AM and as he said that I noticed he seemed unhappy to want to serve me. So, I waited till they opened. Fastforward to when I finally got my food the guy practically threw my food at me, and I noticed he did this with another guy who is black like me so I don't know if he is racist towards black people or what but he needs to check himself before he wrecks himself. I ordered the BBQ fries, they were okay. It took 10 minutes for them to come out. It was not that busy. I would give the fries a 3. The big problem I had was that I ordered a large drink and it was 95% ice and they give NO REFILLS. This is bad because you are eating salty hot food. I took 3 gulps and it was gone. Potato Corner is located inside North Point Mall right by Chick Fil A. We ordered the Mega regular fries with Chili BBQ (4.89 including tax). The fries are fresh and the flavoring is a mix of sweet with a kick of spicy. We originally ordered the combo with the drink included but the cashier didn't hear us.. So we ended up just getting fries and a drink from Chick Fil A. The next time i'm at the mall I'll be sure to come back and try something else to satisfy my french fry love. read more

I work in the mall and have been eating here since the grand opening. I am HOOKED. I've have tried every fry style as well as every flavor. Everything is cooked to order so you never have to worry about cold food, but you will have to wait a bit. I've also tried the chicken tenders, poppers and wings. I wasn't too fond of any of them but I didn't expect it to be that great, being that it's not their specialty.) They are tasty fries and I will continue to go as long as I work close. My only complaint is that portion size + price. $4 for the smallest and it's not much. read more

Me and my boys always come here to get fries every time we visit the mall and wait patiently 10 to 15 minutes without any complaints. Today was the last time we will spend our money here due to horrible customer service. The two employees working there basically accused my 14 year old of trying to steal a sprite. Wanted to argue about how "they gave somebody a sprite". My question to them was why would my son want to lie about a medium sprite and why do you want to argue with him when he said he did not get it. They were extremely rude and disrespectful and the older one kept saying "I know you would have given him the sprite".
