The sales person was no helpful at all, he did not want to answer any questions, he just says that I can talk with the financial personnel. A Hyundai dealership in Miami Lakes. Currently, there's a ton of construction at this dealership. I was trying to get my tires changed at Costco right near this location and discovered that I have wheel locks but didn't have the part to unlock them. One of the only options I was given from the tire spot was to break the locks or find a dealership that might potentially have a set that would match my locks. After calling my original dealership with no appointments available for at least a month, I discovered Potamkin was nearby so I gave them a call. They let me know that I could schedule an appointment for the next day with hopes that they had a set to unlock it. Miraculously, they did and also had one new wheel lock set that could replace my old ones once they got them off. Coming in the next day, there were a ton of obstacles with the construction and their system being down from a lightning hitting the top of their office trailer the day before. Even with all of this, I wanted to give the biggest shoutout to Ara who helped me from start to finish! She was the one who helped me on the phone the day before and assisted me and then my parents, since I had to leave out of town, while my car was done being serviced. I've experienced a lot of extended wait times for appointments at my usual dealership but am grateful for this one for their flexibility and availability. read more

I have been in the market for an SUV for a while, I was between the Hyundai Tucson Limited, the Toyota RAV4 Limited and the VW Tiguan SEL R-Line. The Tucson Limited won in my book, I initially wanted blue or silver but the Ecotronic Gray grew on me and I decided to take the leap despite being anxious about my credit. Five hours later, I ended up driving home in my 2025 Hyundai Tucson Limited after having had my Corolla for almost 9 years which had some problems due to a previous car accident and not having air conditioning or heat. I came here this morning to get my oil changed. I specifically called yesterday and was told Oil Changed are first come, first service. I waited in line for 30 minutes just to be turned away because they said I needed an appointment. The problem is myself and another car went back in. The fact that we were going back in means neither of us had an appointment. For some reason she was accepted and I was still turned away. When I pointed this out everyone acted as if they didn't know what I was talking or who accepted the car. I politely pointed out the young lady who accepted her car and still "I don't know, I don't know". It seems they let on who they want to let in and those people speak their language. read more

I don't know about most people, but going to the dealership can sometimes be a frustrating task. First you have to find a car that handles the way you want, and then decide if the car is even within your financial means. However, the most irritating part is haggling with those sales associates and managers (the old show & dance) to secure a deal. Given this perspective above, you can imagine how skeptical I was, when I went looking for a car at the Potamkin Hyndai this week. To my surprise however, this dealership would be the most unique experience I've ever had. Initially, things started off normal as I was greeted by a woman named Antoela Sequeria (Aka Nela) who immediately told me that she was eager to help me secure a veichle tonight. Although, inventory across the country has been tough, I was able to test drive one of the new 2022 Elantras. Despite being on the lower end of the totem pole, the Elantra had rode smoothly on the road, possesed amazing technology (lane assist/blindspot sensors), apple/Android video sync display, and great mileage (33 city/45 highway). Even though the car amazed me, it would ultimately be the service tonight that would blow me away. As we got back to the table, Nella was extremely transparent, as she was able to provide me with real leasing figures (which I saw online prior). On top of that, she was able to secure me a $500 discount as I just landed a job. This was amazing, as the last Hyndai dealership didn't offer any deductions, and was marking up the price of the same exact model car for $75 more a month! Another amazing part about this dealership, was that the associate (Nella) was able to work out a deal without ever needing to grab the manager once! The rest of the experience was standard, as I was filling out paper work to complete the purchase. But, Nella being super outgoing, made the process go super fast! Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the quality of my car and the care/service I experienced at Potamkin Hyndai! I have my service receipt and window sticker from service date and future mileage listed. Noone wants take responsibility, or make the repairs for this mistake. read more

These guys are scumbags. My fiancé and I just bought a brand new car from them. At the time of closing they told us that purchasing from them came with free car washes for life at any Hyundai dealership. We were shocked and asked to clarify "really, any Hyundai?" They looked us right in the eye and lied to us. When we went to another Hyundai dealership they just laughed at us and we felt like idiots. So, we went back to Potamkin and they wouldn't even honor their promise to us there after we spend $40K on a brand new car! The new 2022 Santa Fe calligraphy is what I bought, that car burns a lot of oil. Each quart is like 10$. Besides that, the vehicle is not as pleasing as it seems. The ergonomic is terribly designed, my elbows hurt every time I use the vehicle. The "free service" for oil change is every 8 k miles or 11 months. It takes 3-4 hours. "Dropped off at 8:15 am. I purchased a certified Tucson about three months ago. My sales person was Yoel. He showed a lot dynamism to sale me a car, which he did. The car had 24k miles. Service carry on from 2020 until whatever the dealer offers. I was told by Yoel my three first oil changes are free of charge. I called last Friday, Mar/10 at 16:30 to set up an appointment. I was told that the person in charge left home early and no one did take her position to continue to set up appointment for customers. I asked to speak to service manager, Mr Perez after being in the phone for 30 minutes exactly. I was told that he left at 16:30 as well. What a coincidence. So, no one seems to care and keep the business running and serve customers. Finally on Monday, after trying many times the service line. No one came to the phone to take the call and help me set up an appointment. I had to call Mr Yoel. He was able to find one for me. It was for 13:00 on today(Wednesday, Mar/15. I showed up at 12:45 and the place is missing organization. One person dealing with receiving cars. To my surprise I was told that I need to pay $54.00 before the service was not even done. I told the employee that I shouldn't pay. Since I was told by Yoel, first three services are free. After taking to Yoel, he created all kind of scenarios that he never told me that the three services are free. Long story short, I asked to speak to Mr. Perez the service manager. I was told he will see me in about five minutes. On the main time Mr, Yoel ask me to wait and he will be back. 15 minutes went by, nor Yoel nor Perez showed up. I just left the place unhappy and discussed with the lie and no respect to the customer. I called Mr, Perez at 15:10 to see if I expresses my frustration about the situation. Of course, he never came to the phone and call me back, since I left my name and my telephone number on his answering machine. I will not go your place for a service unless it's a service that is covered by the factory warranty. I will let all my family member, my friend and my colleagues about this very bad and bitter experience. I have been taking my Hyundai to Potamkin Hyundai in Miami Lakes for some time. On a recent visit I noticed after picking up my vehicle that the tires were not pumped to factory specs (after checking them myself) as shown on the drivers side door. Each tire was several pounds lower than what it should be. I also noticed that all the fluids were at the same level as when I brought the car in for service even though I paid for an oil and filter change that includes checking and filling all fluids. On my next trip to Potamkin Hyundai in Miami Lakes for an oil and filter change, a complete 27 point vehicle inspection and a large repair I told Franklin about the problem on my previous trip and he said he would personally be certain that all fluids were full to the level they are supposed to be and would make sure my tires were pumped to factory specs. Well, to my amazement the fluids were not at the level they were supposed to be and in fact the tires were also not pumped to factory specs once again. In addition, Potamkin Hyundai did not complete the large repair. I had to take the vehicle to another mechanic who completed the repair at 1/2 of what I paid Potamkin Hyundai. So, not only did PH not complete the repair, they also ripped me off by charging such a high price to begin with. I will NEVER return to Potamkin Hyundai again! NEVER!! NEVER!! NEVER!! This place used to be good but is now ripping customers off by charging for work not completed. Don't take your vehicle there for service unless you too want to get ripped off!!!
