This place is horrible! They waste customers time. From the salesman to whoever their finance manager is. Very unprofessional. Keep calling you from multiple numbers to "make a deal" only for you to get there and they have no deal. Adding so many extra fees onto the vehicles. Numbers are ridiculously high. If you don't take the numbers they're offering, they refuse to make a sale with you. They try to force you to finance with their banks. They don't like when you're already approved through your own banks or credit union. Their explanation is that "they're losing money". I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Braman Hyundai was amazing. I'm going to recommend everyone I know to go to braman! read more

Called from Gainesville to check on a specific car being on the lot. JD assured me it was. Asked him to double check and call me back. He called back and said he had the keys in his pocket and would keep them until the next day for me. I left at 7:30 am and called JD at 9am to tell him I was on my way. Once again, I was told he had the keys. A little while later, another salesman, Aramus, called me to say he was waiting for my arrival. At 10:30, Aramus called to tell me he had bad news. They sold the car. He texted me that he was being nice because most salesmen would have let me drive all the way there before telling me, then try to sell something else. Bottom line- don't bother wasting your time if they tell you they have a car you want! read more

Worst experience I've ever had at a dealer, also when I went for a service I left the car at 9:00 am, and I had to wait till the next day cause apparently they didn't have enough time. Also the customer service representative Marcelo hung up the phone on me several times and was extremely rude. Worst customer service ever. read more

Sales personnel. Inform your customer of everything they are paying for. Do not make them sign electronically on a blank screen and then apply it to the contract. Provide a copy of the contract before they leave the dealership with the car only to find out later that $8,000 in "services" had been added without her knowledge. Customer beware! read more

The experience overall was not good from the beginning to the end. The financial person was great, actually he was who really helped me wiht all my questions and concerns. The sales person was no helpful at all, he did not want to answer any questions, he just says that I can talk with the financial personnel. I asked him about the different garanties and if they were included in the monthly payment, he says yes, however when I went with the financial person he says that it was not like that. By the time that I went to pickup the car, he do mention about the survey and what he told me made me feel disrespected. read more

A Hyundai dealership in Miami Lakes. Currently, there's a ton of construction at this dealership. I was trying to get my tires changed at Costco right near this location and discovered that I have wheel locks but didn't have the part to unlock them. One of the only options I was given from the tire spot was to break the locks or find a dealership that might potentially have a set that would match my locks. After calling my original dealership with no appointments available for at least a month, I discovered Potamkin was nearby so I gave them a call. They let me know that I could schedule an appointment for the next day with hopes that they had a set to unlock it. Miraculously, they did and also had one new wheel lock set that could replace my old ones once they got them off. Coming in the next day, there were a ton of obstacles with the construction and their system being down from a lightning hitting the top of their office trailer the day before. Even with all of this, I wanted to give the biggest shoutout to Ara who helped me from start to finish! She was the one who helped me on the phone the day before and assisted me and then my parents, since I had to leave out of town, while my car was done being serviced. I've experienced a lot of extended wait times for appointments at my usual dealership but am grateful for this one for their flexibility and availability. read more

I came here this morning to get my oil changed. I specifically called yesterday and was told Oil Changed are first come, first service. I waited in line for 30 minutes just to be turned away because they said I needed an appointment. The problem is myself and another car went back in. The fact that we were going back in means neither of us had an appointment. For some reason she was accepted and I was still turned away. When I pointed this out everyone acted as if they didn't know what I was talking or who accepted the car. I politely pointed out the young lady who accepted her car and still "I don't know, I don't know". It seems they let on who they want to let in and those people speak their language. read more

Kevin Rodriguez, of Potamkin GENESIS, was a pleasure to work with. Very honest with any issue that came up. All the time. Super nice. No pressure sales. Just doing what is best for the customer. I would definitely buy a Genesis from him again & love my new 2025 Genesis G70! read more

I have been in the market for an SUV for a while, I was between the Hyundai Tucson Limited, the Toyota RAV4 Limited and the VW Tiguan SEL R-Line. The Tucson Limited won in my book, I initially wanted blue or silver but the Ecotronic Gray grew on me and I decided to take the leap despite being anxious about my credit. Five hours later, I ended up driving home in my 2025 Hyundai Tucson Limited after having had my Corolla for almost 9 years which had some problems due to a previous car accident and not having air conditioning or heat. Thank you to Gabriel, Alex and Carlos for making this possible for me alongside with getting rid of my anxiety about my credit which was better than I anticipated. I will be leasing or buying another Hyundai or maybe a Genesis from them. read more

I don't know about most people, but going to the dealership can sometimes be a frustrating task. First you have to find a car that handles the way you want, and then decide if the car is even within your financial means. However, the most irritating part is haggling with those sales associates and managers (the old show & dance) to secure a deal. Given this perspective above, you can imagine how skeptical I was, when I went looking for a car at the Potamkin Hyndai this week. To my surprise however, this dealership would be the most unique experience I've ever had. Initially, things started off normal as I was greeted by a woman named Antoela Sequeria (Aka Nela) who immediately told me that she was eager to help me secure a veichle tonight. Although, inventory across the country has been tough, I was able to test drive one of the new 2022 Elantras. Despite being on the lower end of the totem pole, the Elantra had rode smoothly on the road, possesed amazing technology (lane assist/blindspot sensors), apple/Android video sync display, and great mileage (33 city/45 highway). Even though the car amazed me, it would ultimately be the service tonight that would blow me away. As we got back to the table, Nella was extremely transparent, as she was able to provide me with real leasing figures (which I saw online prior). On top of that, she was able to secure me a $500 discount as I just landed a job. This was amazing, as the last Hyndai dealership didn't offer any deductions, and was marking up the price of the same exact model car for $75 more a month! Another amazing part about this dealership, was that the associate (Nella) was able to work out a deal without ever needing to grab the manager once! The rest of the experience was standard, as I was filling out paper work to complete the purchase. But, Nella being super outgoing, made the process go super fast! Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the quality of my car and the care/service I experienced at Potamkin Hyndai! Highly recommend coming here for your next lease/purchase and seeing Nela too. read more

Ara was excellent again. I have dealt with her every time I have made an appointment for service. Had no issues getting an appointment in a timely manner. Ara reviewed my maintenance status and made some suggestions that I agreed with as I am planning a trip out of town. Wait time was reasonable for the services provided. Only issue I have is I did not get the multipoint review paperwork to show the status of my brakes, tires etc. read more

Three years later and I still give them a 5 star. Just had the pleasure of doing business with them again and I am still a happy customer. The sales rep, Gelson Gomez, made my car search effortless. Everything was so easy and fast! I told him what I wanted and he made it happen. Potamkin is competitive and wants to earn your business or in my case keep my business. These guys are scumbags. My fiancé and I just bought a brand new car from them. At the time of closing they told us that purchasing from them came with free car washes for life at any Hyundai dealership. We were shocked and asked to clarify "really, any Hyundai?" They looked us right in the eye and lied to us. When we went to another Hyundai dealership they just laughed at us and we felt like idiots. So, we went back to Potamkin and they wouldn't even honor their promise to us there after we spend $40K on a brand new car! I wish so badly we could go back in time and not give these guys our business. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere to get a new car. These guys are not to be trusted. read more

The new 2022 Santa Fe calligraphy is what I bought, that car burns a lot of oil. Each quart is like 10$. Besides that, the vehicle is not as pleasing as it seems. The ergonomic is terribly designed, my elbows hurt every time I use the vehicle. The "free service" for oil change is every 8 k miles or 11 months. It takes 3-4 hours. "Dropped off at 8:15 am. I have been taking my Hyundai to Potamkin Hyundai in Miami Lakes for some time. On a recent visit I noticed after picking up my vehicle that the tires were not pumped to factory specs (after checking them myself) as shown on the drivers side door. Each tire was several pounds lower than what it should be. I also noticed that all the fluids were at the same level as when I brought the car in for service even though I paid for an oil and filter change that includes checking and filling all fluids. On my next trip to Potamkin Hyundai in Miami Lakes for an oil and filter change, a complete 27 point vehicle inspection and a large repair I told Franklin about the problem on my previous trip and he said he would personally be certain that all fluids were full to the level they are supposed to be and would make sure my tires were pumped to factory specs. Well, to my amazement the fluids were not at the level they were supposed to be and in fact the tires were also not pumped to factory specs once again. In addition, Potamkin Hyundai did not complete the large repair. I had to take the vehicle to another mechanic who completed the repair at 1/2 of what I paid Potamkin Hyundai. So, not only did PH not complete the repair, they also ripped me off by charging such a high price to begin with. I will NEVER return to Potamkin Hyundai again! NEVER!! NEVER!! NEVER!! This place used to be good but is now ripping customers off by charging for work not completed. Don't take your vehicle there for service unless you too want to get ripped off!!! If I could give them 0 stars, I would. read more
