POST Physical Therapy provides a much higher level of care than anywhere else I have been. I am a physician and an aging runner. Over the past decade, I have had a series of injuries that have sidelined me for varying amounts of time and have gone to multiple cookie cutter physical therapy practices to try and help my recovery. When I finally found POST physical therapy, I learned about what is possible with a program that provides a thorough individualized approach informed by current best practices with a deep bench of experienced providers. Injuries that I was sure would nag me forever have resolved and new injuries are addressed quickly and thoroughly. I have seen multiple providers in the practice including Jia Li, Scott Caplan, Cherie Boucher and Luke Ferdinands and have all provided a uniformly excellent level of care and are a pleasure to work with. I have now referred multiple friends, family and patients, from the very young to the elderly, to POST physical therapy. These include people trying to recovery from sports injuries, convalescing from surgery as well as addressing chronic injuries. I was recommended to Luke by a friend who raved about his work. To begin, I've been dealing with long term knee pain and alignment issues, and had seen a another Physical Therapist who did some manual work on my knee and prescribed some basic exercises. I went for several months without a beneficial lasting effect or impact on my knee. After a year without treatment, I was fed up with then constant pain and decided to seek out a second course of PT treatment as a last resort before considering surgery and decided to give Luke a go. Luke is truly great and it was a great decision to see him. He was able to explain the mechanical and muscular issues going on with my knee, and in turn how that affected other areas of issue/alignment and weakness in body. He also explained the myriad of reasons why my first round of PT did not help me whatsoever. And then identified a course of action and treatment that was progressive and could help me gradually build up strength in hopes of avoiding surgery to resolve the pain. While it has taken time, I am feeling stronger and see improvement every week. I will refer any friends to him in need of PT and will also plan on going to him for any other issues that might pop up. What a great experience, and I could not be happier with my results. I tore an ACL in each of my knees playing college football. Over time, the surgery I had first started to bother me. I am a member at The Club (downstairs gym) so I decided to give it a shot. I'm just upset I hadn't started sooner. Luke and his team are very easy to work with, and are more than willing to accommodate you and your schedule. In terms of actual physical therapy - this has been the best experience I have had. I tore one ACL at a division I school, got surgery at mass general, then did the other at a division II school, had surgery again at mass general. I have had my fair share of doctors, physical therapists, and programs trying to get back to 100%. This is the best and strongest I have felt since before my original survey. Luke was able to rid me of pain that I was battling for as along as I can remember. He was also able to get my confidence to the highest it's been since surgery. The customer service and PT know how combine for the best quality physical therapy office I know. Again, this is coming from a college football player who has seen the best of the best. Nick Schneid at POST PT, Fort Point location - I cannot say enough great things about him and my experience there. He's not only a knowledgable healthcare/injury rehab professional, but a genuinely caring person that gives you his best in every session. (both, in-person and remote/virtual!) I came to Nick at a very challenging time and he helped get me back to 100%. He was very patient and a great listener to develop a program that was the perfect fit for my situation and what was best for me. He was willing to move as fast or slow as necessary. I had a skiing accident in which I dislocated my knee, resulting in a shattered tibial plateau and a torn meniscus. The subsequent surgery left me with a metal plate in my leg and I was non weight bearing for 3 months which created additional overcompensation problems, aside from the injury and surgery itself. So, like I said... there was the injury and surgery challenges alone, and then the additional aches and pains I developed from being on crutches for 3 months. Nick overlooked none of it. He asked great questions to help me share with him what I was feeling, then he listened attentively and developed an effective plan of action from there. read more

What can I say about Nick at POST PT at the Fort Point location? He is extremely competent, professional, kind and open to all feedback. He is a 15 out of a rating to 10. My first issue was my rotator cuff. After listening to my symptoms, etc, he performed his exam and created a program perfect for me: exercises at home and in the office. After a couple of weeks we had to switch to virtual meetings but he and his program continued to be first rate. I'm still working with him. I feel listened to and when I continue to ask questions about how the body works, he is happy to explain in a way it was easy to understand. Lucky for me he was available to continue when my achilles acted up! He continues to be the best! I have tried to be objective in my review but I feel he really cares and wants me to feel the best I can. He is a credit to his profession and you'd be lucky to have him as your PT. read more

If you are in need of PT services, look no further than POST. Everything was top notch. This includes the office staff who were very accommodating for scheduling appointments, handling insurance, etc. I also can't recommend Gabby Greif enough. She was very supportive, knowledgeable and committed to helping me from my recovery following surgery. She persisted until I was able to return to normal / desired activities and navigated a few ups-and-downs throughout the process with ease. This was my second PT experience following surgery (the other with another outfit), and Gabby and POST are heads and shoulders above the others in my mind. I was injured in a car accident back in september '16 and my back was so messed up from it. I honestly thought it was something I was going to have to just live with. I started with Cherie in the Brookline office and now see Brian at Fort Point. They are amazing! Not only do they help you fix the problem step by step, but they let you know why and how they are doing it. They explain everything and make sure you understand the injury and the rehab. POST is great. I came in for chronic pain in my shoulder and upper back- an injury gotten from Javelin throwing- which had been inhibiting me for nine months. Gabriella worked with me to create a PT regimen that was tailored to throwing the javelin, and worked out a lot of the tension in the soft tissue around my shoulder. I was very reluctant to go to physical therapy for a knee injury, but after failing to see any improvement on my own went to see Nick at Post.
