My symptoms only got worse there and I usually spent over an hour at each session, wasting my time with stim, heat etc. I went to Mike as a last resort before surgery and within a month I was starting to feel better, I could sleep comfortably. After 3 months I was able to start spinning classes and doing core/ back exercises at the gym. Unlike most large PT places where one size fits all, Mike really listens to what your symptoms are and creates a plan to treat you. I can not stress enough how great Mike is. I went from being a very active person, to being miserable suffering from awful back pain and thinking there was no hope but surgery. Mike gave me hope and within a month I could see improvements. And, since she lied in her notes about what actually happened, the insurance company isn't paying. Wow. I hope that doesn't happen to anyone else! It is miserable to go through each day in this pain. But it isn't fair to only mention Dr. Lingerfelt. This weekend, in an email from the owner, I found out that Dr. Clark also kept notes that indicated I was recovered but in fact I was limping and couldn't breathe when she discharged me! (I wasn't limping and I could breathe fine when I came to the center for treatment months earlier.) Dr. Clark also refused to give me treatment that was prescribed by my physiatrist to help the situation, a treatment he was emphatic about. Another physical therapist has since explained to me the connection between this part of the back and all of my problems, and why it is key to my recovery. So, now I know that neither one had the knowledge or experience to know what treatment I needed. And, they point-blank disregarded the professional who did! The consequences to me have been severe. It took me a while to decide to write this. At first I believed it was the insurance company's fault for sticking me. But after a Dept of Health reviewer wrote to me of what Dr. Lingerfelt had put in her notes, I realized it was because they didn't know what actually happened. I am writing this review because if there had been reviews on yelp, I would have gone somewhere else and might not be in this situation, where months later I am still paying, and still unable to function normally.

I saw Dr. Kayla Serowik and Dr. Christine Frechette for physical therapy, and both of them were amazing. Not only did they show me the exercise to treat my issues, they also helped educate me on what I could do to prevent future injuries. On top of that, they were both incredibly patient and encouraging - therapeutic on multiple levels! I also get sports massages from Michelle Herrmann, and this has been a game changer. I have gone to a wide variety of skilled massage therapists (sports, deep tissue, Thai, etc.), and Michelle is the best, by far. Her massages are so healing and have helped my performance so much, as well as stave off potential injuries! Before going to Wellness in Motion, I really struggled to progress in any sport because I got injured so often. Now, with the amazing combination of physical therapy and sports massages, my body is healthier and stronger than it has been in over 20 years! Incredibly grateful for this place. Several of my friends have gone here as well, all with similar experiences. Most of them have gone to see Lauren Lozier, who is also amazing!

Dr. Glenn was really attentive, and the first person/provider, outside of my surgeon, who actually has knowledge of my particular medical ailments. It's so refreshing to meet with someone that has an understanding, especially since my medical conditions are so rare. My recovery has been frustrating, with a few post-op complications, so I was looking for alternative treatments. Dr. Glenn performed ART at this session, which he believes I can really benefit from. I have my follow up scheduled next week! I live about an hour away, but worth the drive! I do recommend leaving more time than you think you need for parking, as I had to loop around twice for a spot (and was a few minutes late, but they were so understanding - thank you!!). I worked with Sammy and Kait who are both excellent therapists. At age 77 and with COVID changing everyone's life (I have not contracted it and am fully vaccinated ) I know that I have been loosing muscle mass. On top of that I was thrown off a horse about a year and a half ago and continue to deal with the broken shoulder ,several broken ribs and a punctured lung I suffered. So I needed help getting back in shape. Both women worked hard to evaluate the various problems and work out exercise and stretching routines that would help me regain much of what I had lost. There were about 10-15 different movements, stretches, lifting I needed to work on to get the job done. I worked diligently on my own and many times with them, and feel I have made great progress! I walk 3-5 miles a day, play golf, flyfish, carry my grandchildren around etc. So, even though I have not found the fountain of youth, my vigorous life is back. Thank you Sammy and Kait!

I came here for a specialist, and I'm not going to say exactly what it was to maintain my privacy…read more But I was disappointed that the specialist for my treatment didn't do what I have seen other PTs perform online for people who suffer from the same condition. She also never explained what she was doing, and when I asked clarifying questions to learn more about each treatment, she acted irritated with me. She just wanted to get me in and out of there. I felt unwelcome. Trying out the treatment was very expensive for me because I have a high deductible plan, and I paid what I think is a lot of money for each session. I stopped going and am trying other treatments at home. The whole experience was so far from what I expected to have for something in the medical category. Felt more like the professional grade of cosmetology, as in a nail or hair salon. Wouldn't recommend. I got no relief from any treatment, not that my PT asked me how I felt about my experience or since my last visit.
