Leslee at this office was the most horribly rude and unprofessional physical therapist I have ever encountered in my life. She was running late, and when I inquired when I would be seen she came out very aggressive, stood within 6 inches of my face, and while she spoke in a very soft tone her words were so horribly rude. I asked her to back up, and she refused stating "I don't know what your problem is" and then proceeded to insult me. I can't state if their office would have been helpful to my health because I was not with them long enough, but the strain caused by their treatment would have negated any positive physical help. read more

After cycling through two other physical therapy practices over the last year, I finally found the ONLY effective practice. I had serious long term injuries and scar tissue that no one had ever addressed. Rather then starting with the lunges and stretches so common to physical therapy, Andy actually listened to my history and acknowledged my severe muscle restriction. He then spent months using deep tissue manual therapy to get rid of years of scar tissue. My pain level went from barely walking back to normal activity level. Don't be thrown off by the small office within the Planet Fitness gym. Small means you are Andy's only patient, no PT assistants. So he focuses on you, and you only for an entire hour. I am a woman in my early 70's who sees Tim Dreher P T for heel and ankle pain. I have had these problems on and off for many years. Tim feels my current pain is caused by joint stiffness or hypomobility of my ankle joint. After only 3 sessions the pain has lessened considerably. I have never had such quick improvement of this issue working with other PT's . I am thankful to him for correctly diagnosing this problem which I had assumed was plantar fasciitis. During this pandemic, Tim comes to my house with a wonderfully helpful student, Alexandra, observing all the health precautions as do I and works with me for a full hour. Recently, I also worked with an associate of Tim's, Lisa Scialla DPT, who is equally professional and experienced. I've been treated here twice, once after breaking my arm and again for a strained Achilles tendon. Tim Dreher behaved unprofessionally by 1) not showing up to my appointment (without having the courtesy to let me know) and having a student see me instead (we both thought he was just running late and would show up any minute) and then 2) being a nightmare in terms of billing - seems he failed to cash the check from my insurance and they had to reissue. I visited Andy at Tim Dreher Therapy Ass for a problem with my lower back from training for the Boston Marathon. He was really helpful and got me back on track with my training and ready to run the race. He did an extensive evaluation of my running technique, body alignment and fitness program at the beginning of treatment and worked me through various phases to alleviate the pain and gain strength. He was also really accommodating in scheduling me with one-on-one appointments in the evenings which was the only time I had available. I had rotator cuff surgery and the 1st physical therapist tore my rotator cuff again requiring a 2nd surgery. This time a went to see Tim Dreher who came highly recommended. Unlike the first PT where it seemed they just followed a list of different exercises and streching, I felt that with Tim, all of my treatment was always specifically designed for me. There was always conversations, moving me around to see where the problems were and where I had pain and restrictions. Tim did wonders with both of my shoulders, one with the surgery and the other with a partial tear. I'm now skiing, playing tennis and living a normal, painfree life. Tim and his team have helped me overcome some chronic issues with my shoulders, lower back and legs. Some of this was over use (running), using weights at the gym incorrectly, sitting too long in front of a computer and the good ole process of aging. Tim has been my go to PT for over 15 years. He knows the body and from years of experience and training, has great intuition about cause and effect. I've learned so much from him. From what I hear, he lectures around the country on a variety of subjects. So he is something of a subject matter expert. This is a really different PT experience. It's small, it's personal, it's relaxed and it's fun. The physical therapists are outstanding. The woman I worked with, Li, finally helped me overcome serious back and elbow pain - after all kinds of other interventions failed. I first came to Dr. Greig Andrews D.C. for pain and stiffness in my neck, shoulders and upper back. I was expecting to get cracked, and was a little anxious about that. I had received those kinds of adjustments before, and sometimes they hurt. Well, first Dr. Greig told me that a lot of my pain and discomfort was related to tension from stress. I had not heard that, but it sure made sense to me! Then, he began "adjusting" me. Well, it certainly wasn't what I expected. No cracking. He said he could do that when necessary, but that it often was not, and that even when it was, it should never hurt. That sounded good to me. The adjustment was very gentle, and so relaxing. I felt like my tension and stress, and the pain and stiffness related to it, began to melt away. As I continued care, not only did my neck back and shoulders get looser and feel better, but my low back and hips felt less stiff, more flexible, and my occasional sinus headaches improved as well. My allergies affected me less. And, I feel less anxious in general. I feel like, with less tension and stress in my body, I just feel less stressed by life. Now I sleep better, and wake up easier. I generally feel calmer. Life is still stressful, but I am not so overwhelmed by it all the time. And when I am, I go back to see Dr. Greig Andrews. And I bring my children in, when they have colds, headaches, or when they fall and get hurt. And kids these days have stress too, so they love getting adjusted with me! read more

After shoulder surgery, Tim and his associates gave me 4 months of excellent therapy, pushing gently to stretch the rotator cuff and strengthen the muscles. I highly recommend this group. This was an outstanding experience. The therapists were superb. The atmosphere is professional, supportive and very warm. The approach is very holistic. I injured my ankle on a rope swing accident and Tim and his crew were great at getting me out of pain and getting my strength and balance back to normal so that I can't even remember which foot I injured. I have been seeing Tim at Tim Dreher Physical Therapy since February of 2010. I had been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and was in continuous pain, and was not able to do simple, everyday tasks. I could not walk far without pain, sit without pain, or any type of chore without a serious amount of pain. My doctor's explained to me that this is something that I would deal with for the rest of my life. Tim was extremely knowledge about my condition, and for the past two years spent the time with me to not only help me with the psychical pain, but helped me to understand the psychological and functional pieces of my illness as well.
