Dr. Sussman performed a Tenex procedure on my right ankle for a Haglund Deformity/bone spur just a week ago and the healing process and results have been amazing. I had minor to moderate pain for just a few days but much less than I had expected. I have been able to return to normal activities in less than a week and the pain I lived with for more than a year due to the haglund deformity is gone. All of the other doctors in Southern California told me that Tenex was not an option and that my condition required an open surgery under general anesthesia and I would have many months of pain and healing. He suggested I first get an MRI, so glad he did as I had a a significant rotator cuff tear, steroids would have masked the pain and made things worse. I received corrective surgery and 3 weeks out am already experiencing less pain vs pre-surgery. He provided great step-by-step detail on the procedure and what to expect wrt pain and recovery, and has been very present post-operation. He also has a great staff who are very responsive and supportive. I recently tried to get a prescription filled on a Thursday before a long weekend; however, there was a glitch and it never got sent. I called on Saturday and left a message with a covering physician who said there was not much she could do until Tuesday but that she would contact Dr. Zabik, (very nice thing to do). Later that day, Dr. Zabik called my home and left a message that she had called it in for me. I did not ask her to do that but she did it because she is such a caring physician. I would highly recommend Dr. Zabik and this practice.
