A customer advisor wearing the name badge 'Dinesh' was serving me and demanded to know what I was posting; I told the gentleman that I was fully aware of the prohibited & restricted items list and I wasn't posting anything considered illegal, I even recited a breakdown of some of the items that was on the prohibited list. The advisor handed me a leaflet and I informed him that I already had one which is why I was able to recite what was on the list; he then became hostile and told me that unless I told him exactly what was inside the parcel he would refuse to serve me. I explained to the advisor once again that my parcel did not contain anything that was illegal and that I was an experienced eBay seller and fully aware of the prohibited items list. The advisor then stormed off the counter in a rage and said he refuses to serve me; I had to then be served by another advisor.
I had to wait until the advisor calmed down and returned to his desk and take a picture using my mobile phone of his name badge as he and his colleagues refused to give up his name.
Unbelievable, what a total baby, I'm not sure whether the gentleman was having a bad day, but to storm off the counter like a child with a behavioral problem was bewildering to watch.
Who trains these advisors? They need a lot more training in order to provide the most basic and minimal of customer service. read more
