On His Majesty's Services ' On St. Valentine's Day Year 2025, I paid an unannounced visit to this highly reputable establishment in Peascod Street, Royal Windsor. The customer services that I was afforded by the kind lady who attended to me @ the ' Bureau De Change Desk ' on that very occasion can, perhaps, best be described as being ' exemplary ' in nature. For my parting salvo, even though I had been relieved of a certain amount of Pounds (sterling) for the services that I had requested, more importantly however, I exited the premises with a great feeling of satisfaction. Windsor Post Office in Peascod Street is a fantastic, friendly and exceptionally well run and organised place. I went there today (4th December) to get some stacks and was greeted by a very helpful and cheerful lady called Esther. She was able to assist me with questions to see if I could save time on queuing. She helped explain the self service areas where she showed me what to do to buy stamps. She was knowledgeable, very pleasant and such a breath of fresh air with her cheerful and care for the customer. The post office is in possibly the most unattractive building imaginable! It is positively unappealing, it feels as though you are setting foot into a seedy flat! Not quite what you may expect to find in Windsor! The carpets are tired, think faded and stained with dirt and down trodden chewing gum! However, the staff are possibly the friendliest i have come across in such a main post office! They are happy to advise you on which is the best way to send parcels, and how you can save money, quite an eye opener! You can forgive the scruffy exterior when you experience the politeness and fabulous service! read more
