Definitely one of the bigger shop/post offices that I have come across. Its busy nature can be attributed to its central location. But when the going gets tough, the tough get going.... Or something like that. What I am saying, is that the staff are able to accommodate for the busy nature of the place. When it's busy they have about 5 staff members, which is not always the case at other post offices. The staff are actually pretty nice as well. I went in there to send a rather large package to Australia, and the lady was not even angry with my about the fact that I hadn't yet written the address because I was unsure of where to put it. It seems times have changed at this post office from when Matt wrote his review. Very busy today, around 30 people queuing, and three people on the counters. There's only room for four. The guys in there were some of the most unhelpful, petty jobsworths I have ever seen. One of them took a parcel from the lady in front of me, which was a cardboard box inside one of those postal plastic bags. He stretched the plastic bag out as far as it could go, measured it and told her it was too big. He said if she went home, taped the plastic bag up and the returned he would be able to accept it. Utter rubbish. A different guy I had took the parcel which I new to be less than 2.5 cm high and pushed it into the plastic measuring slot that they have. He pushed it in wonky so that the edges of the package were touching the slot, and then told me it was too big. What an ass. Finally, they make no effort to move quickly, everything is done slowly meaning that the queue moves at a snail's pace. read more

Two different post offices gave me contrasting advice on how to fill out a sensitive document, when I rang this branch for clarification one of the members of staff was incredibly rude and when I confronted him in regards to this and he hung up. Horrible customer service in a position where customer service is paramount . read more

the indian man who served me was extremely rude and arrogant. i went in for postal order and passport application. i havnt done this before and he spoke very rudely asking me if i knew the fee and cost of everything...i could tell that he didnt know the cost of a passport application and couldnt be bothered to find out. i will never go back to this post office. i will instead travel further and go to another boroughs main office for good customer service! read more
