This is a fabulous post office, just saved from closure by public demand. The staff are so friendly…read moreand helpful. They seem to know all their regulars by name and serve long queues quickly and efficiently. They also sell stationary and foodstuff and have a photo booth. The office is accessible for wheelchairs and others with disabilities. The only problem is there is limited parking as it is on a major road.

I was asked if the machine outside was not working and enquiring why I had not used it. Again I had to stipulate that I needed some of my money in £10 & £5 notes. What was particulalry silly was that I was withdrawing a large amount of money and I was expected to use the machine outside. With the amount of cash point related muggings why was I greeted with such bad customer service in insensitivity? The branch was completely empty and the two staff were just sitting around. I went to the Stratford Post Office on Saturday afternoon to return a parcel but they don't offer…read moreprinting labels service. The gentleman recommended me to visit his colleague in the scanner counter at the end of the shop to print the label and some documents for a registration. After showing him the label and the parcel, he come with an A4 paper bigger than my parcel. When I requested for an smaller format, he complained saying "it your fault because that is the size of the document sent". I asked again if he could print an smaller label and his reaction was speechless....he ripped the paper in my face and started raising the voice! After further argument, he ripped the rest of my documents...I have never seen such a bad costumer service in my life! I went back to the post office counter and the gentlemen kindly helped me to write down the address in a piece of paper and send the parcel. I had to pay a bit extra but I don't have a printer at home. Before leaving the place, I went a second time to the scanner counter to ask the disrespectful gentleman for his license number to put a formal complaint but he and all his colleagues refused to give me any details and come out of the desk to face me in an aggressive way! He told me to leave the shop or he will call security because he was losing it. I have never had such a bad costumer service in my life and such a disrespectful behave towards a woman!

The man who runs the post office is not very helpful and most of the time is in a mood. He is quite loud and if you happen to have an enquiry be sure to have your head bitten off! I dont think he means to be rude but his attitude is quite offensive and I have seen him bo very rude to the customers. The service is quite slow and the staff are untrained causing long queues on most days. Personally I try and put everything off until I can go to the main post office on the High Street to avoid going to this one.

The store is small, but equipped to handle essential business including some banking. Money exchange (foreign currencies) and of course positing letters and parcels via royal mail. The shop probably needs a good refurbishment, but functions well enough.
