The directions and signage could have been better. This is the Package Pick-up at the Post Office Annex. Turn off 6 Mile Cypress near Wallpaper Store onto Technology Court. Proceed toward back to remote poorly marked location. The first road on your right is driveway into Post Office Annex. Awkward hours are M-F 930-4, Sat 930 til 1 and Sunday closed. The hours and location are unnecessarily confusing. This is NOT the nearby Sun Harvest Citrus USPS location. That is north, across railroad tracks at 14601 6 Mile Cypress. Your packages and certified letters will not be there. Moreover, dangerous traffic conditions are encountered to get from Sun Harvest to the Post Office Annex. read more

Beware of being gouged for mailing items at this location (Sun Harvest). I know my pricing as I am an avid e-bay seller. Wanted to mail a post card in a bubble wrap ENVELOPE for extra protection which I have done many times. ENVELOPE weighed just over 1 oz. I was told it would cost almost $9 for the cheapest postage. I had even weighed it at home before I came. Woman behind the counter tried to tell me it was a package. In no way was this a package. I challenged her about the price and explained it was clearly an ENVELOPE and that I knew what the cost should be before I left home. I explained I know my mailing prices from ebaying and this just wasn't right. That was the time she decided to become quite rude along with her co-worker. Holding back full details of their behavior for sake of keeping review shorter. Went to another post office where I paid just under $2.50 as I knew it should be. Don't bother reporting your issue to a manager because when my husband called, we were told quote "How darling" the postal staff is. So, if you call being condescending and snickering behind your back darling and good customer service then this is the post office for you. read more

I think this post offie is conveniently located and has great hours. The staff is efficient and friendly. I have one issue and that may be with the postal department in general but because it happened here, it's a reflection on them I sent home a package to Hawaii in an if it fits it shops box and asked for a fragile sticker. This PO is more a 3.5 stars, not a full 4, but it shouldn't be considered a 3 either. That's why I think a 3.5 is fair, as there are a lot more pros than there are cons about the office located inside Sun Harvest Citrus. Pros: * "Service with a smile" - The people I've encountered behind the desk are always warm and welcoming, as they smile and acknowledge you when you get in line, regardless of how long the queue is. * No arguments - If asked to mail something a different way (media mail vs first class, etc), they will say "ok" and ship that way. No questions asked (outside of the normal "anything hazardous, liquid, fragile"), no extra comments, just "sure" and "any stamps today?". * Cleanliness - always clean in the store, as they would have to be. They are attached to a "food processing" plant (of sorts). Sun Harvest is in the same open area, and since the small factory processes all the juice and bundles of fruit, the place has to be a level of dust free. * Watch the packers - There is a viewing window within the Post Office room, where you can watch the workers pack the bins with whatever seasonal citrus is available. Keeps your mind from wandering completely if you're in a long line waiting for a stamp, or just plain old want something to watch for a minute. * Stamp the mail - They actually affix the label / stamp to your package right in front of you. I've been in other post offices where they just hand write the postage to then stamp later. Here, they print the price and affix it to your package right then and there. Cons: * I've only got one con, and I don't know how negative it can be, as I can only think it started at this location - I had mailed a 1 price 1 size box to Massachusetts, and was told it would take two days to get there. A full NINE days later, it arrived at the destination. Having researched a little, the box was bouncing around from facility to facility in the North Shore. I looked at my receipt and it had said the wrong zip code (the girl punched in a 7 instead of a 9) so I think that's why the box kept going around the Commonwealth, looking for a home. I didn't even think to look or question it when it happened. My friend got the package and the zip was crossed out and something written over it (the same zip, only in black Sharpie). The box didn't seem dinged up, but my friend stated the case for the DVD I had sent was busted. The movie seemed fine, however. That's why I don't know how valid the con can be, as it's not completely the fault of this post office. Maybe a fault of the service in general? Who knows. Will I go back to this post office? Hell yes. I love Sun Harvest as it is, and knowing the post office is here, is an added benefit. read more

Answer your phone! Not only that a lesson in telephone manners would be a big improvement for the staff. They answer in a tone that makes you feel like you are bothering them. I guess they forget I have other alternatives like UPS and FedEx. read more

The absolute WORST post office in America. You will never reach them over the phone because no one answers. I called over 15x in 2 days. I missed my package because I was out of town and they never left a note on my front door. They could have at least given me direction to where my package was. I had to call 5 different locations just to track it down. Their website has inaccurate times and gives you the wrong location so I missed picking up my package by 5 minutes because of the wrong closing time given. read more

It's inside of a Florida citrus shop that sells fresh squeezed juice and gifts. I got to look around and sample juices while my bf dropped off his packages. There's a big window so you can watch the workers process the oranges and bottle the juices! They have a huge selection of gifts and souvenirs that look of nice quality. This post office trip was the first time I haven't been bored out of my mind waiting so we'll be back. read more
