I visited today during prime time of the day and during the holidays. There were probably 30 people in front of me. The three employees moved through each person quickly and courteously. I waited about 15 minutes until my turn. The young man who helped me was friendly, apologized for the wait and was efficient. I have been here one previous time and both were good experiences. They also offer Hallmark cards, which is nice if you realize you forgot to buy one elsewhere. Buy it, sign it and send it all in one place! read more

I have never had a good experience here. I will not even use this location and I only live 2 miles away. I have had them accept a package before 5 on Friday and not post it until Monday. I had to contact the postmaster to get help. I have also witnessed an employee being extremely rude to an elderly customer. My life is too hectic to add unnecessary stress read more

returned my package to post office even though bills and letters arrived driver lazy terrible service would not recommend to use when setting up purchases read more

Employees bark orders about packages. No supplies in lobby. They don't offer correct labels when the lobby is out. Ridiculous way to conduct business. Zero stars! read more

Horrible service. They never answer phone. Entire USPS is sucks. I'll be sitting on a phone talking to answering machine (asking the same questions over and over with answers and never get an agent or help) until u get pissed off and sent this machine far before they send u the same direction. I would give them 0, so the lowest here is 1. read more

we are not getting our mail or our packages. it is difficult to make a formal complaint when they don't track with an original point of region. Very disappointed as this rarely happened last season. read more

Dana was very helpful in helping an 80 year old man in getting our mail to be delivered again on a future date

An article of mail addressed to me in Estero was never delivered. Tracking on the USPS website indicated "delivery failed" but gave no reason. I went to the Estero PO to get more information, and the supervisor was not helpful at all. He did not know why the parcel delivery failed, he did not know where the parcel was currently located. It's been 7 days since th expected delivery date, 4 days since the delivery failure. I am waiting to see if the item was returned to the origination/sender address. Not the first time I have received poor service from Estero PO. Clerks are more often grumpy than nice. read more

The worst Customer service I have ever experienced. Honestly the Station Manager is horrible and The Rural supervisor is no better. Mail is constantly getting returned and/or thrown away. They never answer the phone and can never offer any real help. None of the employees are personable, they are all rude and rush you through as if you are a bother to them. read more

This post office is much closer and easier for me to get to but the employees are so rude and unaccommodating I refuse to go here. I was actually yelled at the other day for dropping off a package that was ready to go in the same place it always goes, on the right side of the desk. I guess that is only okay when there isn't a line out the door because they are so slow at getting people in and out. I drive further to any other post office to avoid the people and the experience offered at this one. It's a shame because it is brand new and newly renovated but I think the staff needs renovation next. read more

Customary service and execution. As they have four years the US Post Office does an amazing job for a very small price. When it comes to getting a package to the intended party, intact, UPS and FedEx can't compare. read more

US Post Office - US Post Office in Estero, Florida. Having a post office to miles from home is a luxury. - Post Offices Near Me - Estero, Florida

Unfortunately, this is the closest location for me and I have to mail multiple packages out on a daily basis. Several of the workers are not very welcoming to their customers. Erik is a very disrespectful employee and today was the last straw as he charged me 3x the amount for the same envelops I mail out everyday from this location!!! He gave his reasoning which did not make much sense since it hasn't been an issue for the last 2 years. He then would not ship it priority as I requested as a second option because it was not in a priority envelop, although I have shipped the same package priority multiple times before. I did not appreciate is cocky attitude telling me to use the self serve machine next time so I don't have to deal with him. Overall, poor service and now i will drive the extra distance to use another location. read more

This is the kind of post office everyone in their town wants. This place seriously sets it's self apart from the stereotypical terrible post office experience. The staff are always willing to help and they are actually nice to you. It's almost as this post office is the only one in the world with workers that don't hate their jobs. It's refreshing to come to this place knowing you won't leave asking why the hell is just mailing something got to be so hard sometimes. Skip the rest and take a little extra drive for this place. It's worth your time and sanity to actually come to a post office that treats you like a valued customer. read more

Unfortunately the POSTMASTER of the Estero, Florida post office gets only one star. It's the season to start mailing gifts, however, Dana Mitchell Watson has seen fit not to schedule employees properly to take care of its customers. Yesterday, the overflow was out to the mail boxes in the lobby with no help in sight for the two employees who were manning the windows. Oh, and it's never just one thing customers need or want, so that takes up more time. Ms. Watson needs to start scheduling her staff better so that we're not on line 30 minutes or perhaps even longer. Having said that, the employees, Javier, Diane, Patty do get FIVE STARS for doing the best they can, but it has to be frustrating to lookout and see no end in sight and a long line. My hope is that others who have a similar problem take the time to write her and that she corrects the situation. read more

Computer problems today. No one is happy. This is one of those things that is actually no ones fault.

What's the point of leaving a forwarding address? I recently moved (a month ago) leaving a forwarding address, only to find an item ordered off eBay was returned to sender.... why couldn't they stick a yellow forwarding sticker on and send it down to Naples? The funny thing is Andrew ( the clerk I spoke to on the phone) informed me that they don't forward such things).... I'm thinking well you forwarded a DVD I ordered from eBay last week so why didn't you forward this DVD? (yes my eBay default address has since been corrected)...?but really, would it have killed them to put a yellow sticker on it and send it to Naples??? Apparently. this follows after 2+ years of dealing with a crusty old codger for a postman who was constantly putting my neighbor's mail in my mailbox ...sometimes mail from streets other than my street... so I'm guessing that my mail must have also gotten put into other people's mailboxes....one time I was expecting a certified letter to come for which I needed to sign, instead received a slip in my mailbox telling me that I "wasn't there to sign for it." I was! I was there the entire day!!! so the next day I'm at the mailbox waiting... I asked, why didn't you knock on my door, I was here all day yesterday? he said "he did"... I said, no actually you didn't because I would have heard it as I was here all day... He said, "are you calling me a liar?" I'm just saying, sir that I did not get the knock on the door, so where's my certified letter? Of course he didn't have it and had to return later that day with it. clearly he has issues as there's no reason to be belligerent and hostile to an honest fair question unless you're trying to intimidate someone into silence by avoiding being questioned for your wrongdoing. The estero post office has never ceased to disappoint me... even now when I'm gone. read more

Wow. After waiting 15 minutes in line, the woman helping was completely rude. She wouldn't even let me finishing telling her about my change of address before she cut me off and said no to me. And then she told me that I was in the wrong. I was appalled at the lack of customer service at this USPS location. read more

My first impression with this post office was positive when (bleep) thoroughly, quickly, and courteously asked me about my package and if there were additional items I needed. He then took my package to the clerk behind the counter who then asked me the exact same questions. I asked the clerk why he was asking me the same questions that (bleep) just asked me not 5' away, and his response was that he wasn't, he was asking them in a different way. I commented he needs to get on the 'same page' as (bleep), and he replied "well, that's passive-aggressive." That is when our brief encounter turned into a negative experience. He became defensive and arrogant when I pointed out his questions were identical such as "are there any flammables in the package, do you need stamps, do you need insurance." I asked what his title was and how it was different from (bleep), and he claimed he did not know his title and that I should check with his supervisor! I noticed his name badge stating I would simply have to refer to his name when notifying his supervisor of my poor experience, and he countered confidently and arrogantly 'that's spelt with an "i." His name is (bleep). His dialogue and attitude toward postal patrons was rude, disrespectful, argumentative, and hostile. Conclusion: positive experience with (bleep), negative experience with (bleep). read more
