I'd gotten in touch with another highly-rated company first, and been given the run-around repeatedly because my job was "small." When I reached out to Nelcan via Yelp, I got a response from Mitsuko within hours with a quote and potential times to book. She reconfirmed in advance, and the electrician showed up on time (quite a change from the company I'd contacted previously!) and got the fixture installed quickly. All in all, thoroughly professional and highly recommended

I would recommend to others. He replaced existing fan and light in ensuite bathroom and also two thermostats for baseboard heaters in bedrooms. Ethan was professional and committed to getting the job done. He also did the run to buy the equipment I needed and checked about price with me before purchasing. Good work Ethan

I had a very small window to get the work done and needed it completed on a weekend while I was in Vancouver for my rental property. Manny made time on Sunday and got everything done properly and fully up to code. This was not an easy job, as the work was outside in pouring Vancouver rain and plenty of mud, but it was completed exactly as expected. The cost was fair, with no surprises or hidden charges, even after I made a few last minute changes. Thanks again, Manny. I would definitely recommend him.

Eddie Hall was responsive by phone and provided an estimate that was less than competitors, who seemed far less interested in looking after a small job such as mine. So their installation service may be very good, if you can get them to show up. I haven't been…read moreable to get them to show up. To get them to show up, you have to be way more flexible than a normal working person can be. I contacted them and Sam told me they could come on a Friday at 7:30 a.m., which doesn't work because I have a family to get out of the house, eating breakfast under the fixture I need replaced (we're normal Vancouver people, we don't have tons of space and a room/table I could relocate breakfast to). Then he said they could come later on Friday morning, but couldn't commit to a time. I countered with Thursday afternoon, which he said would work better, and he agreed to a time. I arranged my work schedule to be there. On Wednesday morning, I got a call at work from their installer, asking if I could be home that day to do the install (uh, no, not on short notice). As agreed, I stayed home on Thursday for the Thursday afternoon appointment, moved everything around to be ready for them, and then the installer called me an hour in advance to tell me he couldn't make it and wanted to reschedule for the next week. If you have a stay-at-home partner / roommate or you work from home or have a contractor or someone handling your house, Hall Electrical might be great. But if you can't be at home on a weekday at the drop of a hat, don't bother with them.
