This was my first time at this location and while everyone was nice, I do not plan on returning. I had a full set of single color acrylic nails done. My nails are not the same shape and there is glue peeling and chipping around a few of the nails on both hands. I also had some irritation from where a nail grinder was used on the skin around my nails. Although I had pictures to show what I wanted (matte with a glossy tip), the tech did glossy at first, I showed her the picture again and she did the opposite of the picture. I have been going to Posh for over 1.5 years but the last couple of months the girls that did our nails started to developing an attitude. I do not know if it was because we cancelled one time with very short time. But after that they were short, if I asked to do just a color instead of design they did not look happy. The girl that did my nails cut steps and when I questioned her she said I did not need them. 2 times she cut me never apologize. My daughter loved to have designs but felt that sometimes her girl was moody and made her feel uncomfortable. I asked multiple nail techs what color would be closest to the photo I showed them and they only gave one answer to one skin color. Which was not mine!! I'm so shocked they were so clueless!! No one helped or guided me in the right direction. They made me feel ugly and that's not how a woman should feel in a nail salon. My manicurist quite literally almost didn't paint half of my pinky nail. I got my nails done on Saturday and she failed to paint all the way down to my cuticle, it already looks like at least 5 days of growth. She removed my previous gel manicure using the "saw" looking tool... leaving my nail extremely brittle. My nail beds were burning and hot as she used the saw tool. While I was receiving a pedicure she said someone would come soak it off properly with acetone, but no one came over to do it nor did she just do it herself. I understand if I was a last customer of the day situation or the squeezed me in... but I had booked an appointment!! Extremely disappointed. One of the best pedicures that I've had in a LONG time. I'm visiting for work and needed a pedi bad. Hannah did an amazing job! I've been going here for a couple months now. Appointments are made with ease. I get the dip manicure. My nails turn out amazing every time! I can't speak for other technicians - but Cookie is absolutely AMAZING!! She is efficient, doesn't waste time, and does a great job. I never have peeling, breaks, or dullness. I can make my manicure last 4 weeks, and the only difference from the day I got them is the natural grow out of my nail. read more

Because I'm a masochist, I just went to my 4th visit here. I REALLY wanted to give this place a chance because it's close to my house and super convenient. But after 4 shots, I'm done. I always make an appointment for me and a friend. This is my fun, girlfriend catch-up time as I'm sure it is for a lot of people, right? Every single time, they try to sit us completely apart and not next to each other. I have NEVER experienced this at a nail salon. You make 2 appointments, you sit together. I wrongly assumed this was customary. Each time, they told me I needed to request that we sit together when I call to make the appointment, which I did, only to be told the same thing. Besides the awkwardness of them acting like I was asking for a gold plated chair and caviar just because I want to sit next to my friend, I've had completely different experiences getting a dip. The first time ended up being rough around my cuticles and lumpy hard gunk under my nails so I felt like I'd been digging in dirt for the 3 weeks I had them. And while my friend always gets a gel topcoat to make her dips shiny, I never do. We get the exact same service, yet I always leave with dull nails that look like they have a gritty texture. I've tried to ask why I don't get gel on top like my friend, but I've never had anyone who understands what I'm asking. This last visit was my limit, though. Not only did he rip up my cuticles with the drill, but he drilled my nails so much that he was burning my fingers. Once I said "OUCH" and pulled my hand away, did he stop? Nope. Just kept going and burning me. He didn't tell me to wash my hands once, so as usual, my nails look gritty. And as I longingly watched my friend get her gel topcoat right next to me, I got a sloppy topcoat that ended up with me leaving with my skin glued to my nails. Sorry, Posh. I tried. I was excited to have a nail salon close to my house, but unfortunately the services performed weren't anywhere near what i had wanted going in. I wanted almond shaped acrylics; however, upon sitting down i was informed that (on top of the initial $35 for acrylic nails) it would be $5 extra for length and another $5 extra for shaping. I've never seen a salon that does that and I was alarmed (obviously) because I had not planned on spending $45. These extra prices are not mentioned anywhere in their pricing guide, because it apparently makes it too confusing. Since my natural nails had already been cut off and filed down (and because a tornado was coming) I reluctantly went ahead with the shorter square shape that wouldn't cost me extra, assuming I could maybe make the best of them when I got home (I couldn't). That was a mistake on my part for sure; if I was braver I would have simply walked out, and I certainly will in the future. To add insult to injury, i was informed when i paid that the white tips that had been offered to me also cost $5 extra, which was NOT communicated to me; she only asked if white tips were "okay". Perhaps there was a language barrier to some extent, but since I'm on a budget i'm not in a position to be able to add that. Having not had many nail salon experiences my mom and I were looking forward to a fun outing ending in pretty toes, instead we were met with unfriendly and unhelpful staff. My mom ended up with a gash on her toe which was left bleeding onto her nail with no mention nor care made to remedy it. This might be common place for some folk but it's not a preferable add-on to a pedicure in my opinion. We made appointments specifically for the Bye Bye Callous and there was zero communication between the front desk and the technicians-the before and after is underwhelming. And overpriced. The salon itself is kept clean; however, knowing that everything is there I walked out unsatisfied because the staff that works there is not fluent in English. I had hard time explaining what I needed. The staff that did speak proper English was not helpful either. If I am going to spend $100 on mani-pedi, I need to walk away happy. I go to Posh Nails about twice a month to get an acrylic fill for my nails, and I have left satisfied every time. I started going here about 6 months ago and every visit is just as nice as the one prior. It is kept very tidy, the staff is very friendly, and they offer complimentary water and Frito Lay chips. They also offer a student discount during the school year, so bring your student ID for 10% off! HGTV is typically what is playing on the TV, and if not, typical radio music is playing faintly in the background. Overall, a very nice place to be in. read more

BEWARE of POSH! I wanted a dip manicure 4 weeks ago and was unable to get into the place my friend recommended, so went to Posh. A DIP newbie, I didn't know any different. They looked pretty... but not natural, but then again- they weren't, so... one popped off and almost all lifted after 10 days. I went back (not knowing this wasn't normal) to get them redone before a vacation. Second day with the new mani, one popped off, couple days later, another, nails started lifting in less than a week. 4 popped nails and all but one lifted in less than 2 weeks. This morning I noticed a fungus under one nail. I went to The French Tip & she was appalled. Said the nails never even bonded to my nail bed-a HUGE risk for fungus!- and they were SO thick. She couldn't believe that they were doing DIP manis this way. My nails now look SO natural and beautiful. They are HALF the thickness of Posh's and look like a gel manicure. I'm trying to warn potential clients against wasting their money and potentially developing a fungus, as I did, which could've been bad if I didn't catch it right away. She said her husband "taught" the guy at Posh how to do the dip, but he left after the class started and never came back!! This is the way they SHOULD look!! BEWARE!! read more

I love this place, and the atmosphere is beautiful. Six months ago, I had to find a new nail technician. I usually find a great technician and stay with them for years. I was very lucky to find Vivianne! She does a fantastic job filling my nails or applying a new set, and I am always extremely pleased with her work. She takes pride in her work and is a perfectionist. I rarely have a nail break between fills; but if I do, it is always my fault because I waited way too long between fills. Myself and 3 friends had pedicures about a week ago at Posh. We were shocked that they were unable to do the simple design each of us asked for, they told us that the only flower they can paint is a simple daisy made of dots. They also would not do stripes with a flower on top (I've had this done at other salons no problem). Then when it came time for each of us to pay, we were a bit shocked by all of the up-charging that they add. Less than a week later, my $73 gel pedicure is chipping on 4 toes. In fact, one of the toes only has about half of the paint left on it. The people who work at this salon seem super nice but I will never again utilize this shop, due to the shoddy craftsmanship and not so above board business practices when it comes to pricing. read more

I decided to get a mani/pedi today. I signed in on the sheet and wrote both down. After my pedicure was over I asked the technician if he was also doing my manicure. He was confused and went over to the desk to find out if I was getting a manicure. The owner came over and told me they did not have time to give me a manicure even though I signed in and requested both services. The right way to fix that scenario would have been to have my technician give me the manicure before he walked down and gave a pedicure to somebody that just walked into the shop. Very disappointed! I can't have my nails painted from August to May because of school, so I was excited to take my sister and have a fun summer outing to get our nails done. I made an appointment for the two of us. The woman that did my nails did not say one word to me, she sat down and started talking to the person next to her immediately. I felt very rushed the whole time I was there. My sister was finished before me, and since she's only 10, she came to sit next to me while I was finishing my manicure. A woman very rudely came up and told her to move over to a different chair so she could sit and just talk to the woman doing my nails. In the end my nails look very goopy and none of them are filed to the same shape. Very poor experience all together. I was very disappointed that I chose to walk into this place and spend $100.
