My mom had been wanting to got to Hawaii for a while now and we finally made it happen. Lacretia put us a package together that kept us busy and allowed us to see the island of Honolulu in its entirety. Although the flight was not a non-stop flight, it was perfect for my mom (can't sit for long periods of time). Our layover was super simple and not long at all. By the time we landed in L.A. and arrived at our connecting flight, we had enough time to get lunch and stretch our legs and it was time to fly on to Honolulu. The hotel was immaculate, super fancy and in walking distance to everything (restaurants, shopping, beach, etc.). There was constant communications from the company that she set our excursions with, which I thought was exceptional. We always have a great vacation when dealing with Lacretia and her team!!! We are in the process now of planning our next trip (Mama's request, again) to Dubai and we wouldn't think of using anyone else but Personal Touch Tours!!! (and no, I am not related to any of them).

Traveled first class on the way to Ireland, which was stellar. Trip back was not so much fun. Our departing flight from Dublin was delayed by nearly 2 hours, causing me to miss my connection back to Houston; my travel companion literally ran to the tram to make it to her flight - and she just barely made it. Of course, her luggage did not travel with her, which is a whole other story. Delta auto booked me on the next flight from ATL to IAH, but that kept getting delayed. And delayed. Gates change, so everyone who has missed their flight and is rebooked on this new one is running between gates at Terminal D, which is (in my opinion) the pit of ATL airport. Finally take off, with anticipated arrival about 5 hours after my missed flight. Then the pain began. Don't know what it is about Delta, but every time I have "airplane ear" issues, it's always on a Delta flight. During descent into IAH, it seemed to take forever and my ears were burning. The pressure that built up in one ear was so intense that I was nearly in tears. Landed and could hardly hear a thing out of that one ear, and it finally didn't clear up until after I went to the doctor a week later. What is it with Delta, anyway? You make a major hub in a Southern city, prone to inclement weather year round, and then you shrug your shoulders when flights are delayed due to weather? And the ear issue is just another reason that I repeated multiple times: "I hate Delta."

Booked vacation thru DELTA VACATIONS-Let me start I'm a 67 year old retired well traveled person…read morethat has been going to Jamaica since 1986. Been there some sixteen times and I never encountered HUGE PALMETTO BUGS or Roaches what ever you call them. Booked thru DELTA VACATIONS and out of hundreds of hotels in Jamaica and they only deal with twenty or so you would THINK they were fully vetted. They gave Princess Senses Mangrove a 4.5 rating and a member rating of 4.9 for a filthy Bug infested hotel.Confronted Butler about this problem and he couldn't even make eye contact. Talked to Platinum guest services and they simply with a smile said it was that time of the year and offered no room change Nothing for the over water bungalows. I'm sorry but this was more than we usually spend for a trip to Jamaica two nights at the main hotel and three nights on the water villas ground transportation and flight out of Michigan at cost of $8,100 and the only resolution was a maid three hours later with a can of bug spray asking if was a mosquito problem. Found one dead the second night killed two and chased two one on the snack table. Now we didn't see anything in the two nights at the main hotel but talked to two different guest that experienced this problem in the main building. Sent two emails to DELTA VACATIONS regarding this matter to two different emails and its been 8 days with no response. Clearly for a Name like Delta you would expect some type of professional courtesy
