Personal Touch Tours - Crossed off the bucket list---parasailing!!!

Personal Touch Tours

I have been using Personal Touch Tours for just about all of my vacation needs for over 10 years…read more Lacretia is amazing!!! My mom had been wanting to got to Hawaii for a while now and we finally made it happen. Lacretia put us a package together that kept us busy and allowed us to see the island of Honolulu in its entirety. Although the flight was not a non-stop flight, it was perfect for my mom (can't sit for long periods of time). Our layover was super simple and not long at all. By the time we landed in L.A. and arrived at our connecting flight, we had enough time to get lunch and stretch our legs and it was time to fly on to Honolulu. The hotel was immaculate, super fancy and in walking distance to everything (restaurants, shopping, beach, etc.). There was constant communications from the company that she set our excursions with, which I thought was exceptional. We always have a great vacation when dealing with Lacretia and her team!!! We are in the process now of planning our next trip (Mama's request, again) to Dubai and we wouldn't think of using anyone else but Personal Touch Tours!!! (and no, I am not related to any of them).

We went to Turks and Caicos. They have a lot of games,…read moremovies, and music on the screens! Delta was very fun! I recommend playing a game called bird vs bird. It's very fun. I love delta! The seats are also very comfortable. Delta is also super safe. Every time we have to fly somewhere, we use delta. 1000/5. Recommended for flight.

Not really a fan of Delta, but on a recent trip overseas, this was the option that suited me and my…read moretravel companion, since we were starting in two different locations, meeting in Atlanta and then flying to Ireland together. Traveled first class on the way to Ireland, which was stellar. Trip back was not so much fun. Our departing flight from Dublin was delayed by nearly 2 hours, causing me to miss my connection back to Houston; my travel companion literally ran to the tram to make it to her flight - and she just barely made it. Of course, her luggage did not travel with her, which is a whole other story. Delta auto booked me on the next flight from ATL to IAH, but that kept getting delayed. And delayed. Gates change, so everyone who has missed their flight and is rebooked on this new one is running between gates at Terminal D, which is (in my opinion) the pit of ATL airport. Finally take off, with anticipated arrival about 5 hours after my missed flight. Then the pain began. Don't know what it is about Delta, but every time I have "airplane ear" issues, it's always on a Delta flight. During descent into IAH, it seemed to take forever and my ears were burning. The pressure that built up in one ear was so intense that I was nearly in tears. Landed and could hardly hear a thing out of that one ear, and it finally didn't clear up until after I went to the doctor a week later. What is it with Delta, anyway? You make a major hub in a Southern city, prone to inclement weather year round, and then you shrug your shoulders when flights are delayed due to weather? And the ear issue is just another reason that I repeated multiple times: "I hate Delta."

Email I sent to general manager:…read more July 10, 2025 Ms.Maile Villanueva-Miller General Manager Staybridge Suites Atlanta Airport North 3420 Norman Berry Drive Hapeville, GA 30354 REF: Robert J. Schaefer July 8, 2025 - July 12, 2025 Member#277743746 Dear Ms. Villanuea-Miller: During my stay at the Staybridge Suites Atlanta Airport since Tuesday, July 8, 2025, your hotel staff have displayed the true meaning of hospitality. As someone who has traveled the world, staying at five-star hotels, such as, the Four Season Cairo, Egypt to a three-star hotel, the Best Western in Walterboro, South Carolina, your hotel is not only tops; but, also unique! The Staybridge Suites is tops in how your staff made me feel welcome during my stay, and unique by having a bar off the lobby which beside serving liquor also provides guests with meals from pizza to salad. The entire concept is something I never experienced at other Staybridge Suites - something other hotels will provide to their guests, soon! As an IHG Member, I previously mentioned, I have stayed at other Staybridge Suites; yet, the uniqueness here is beyond just the brick and mortar, but in your staff. Every staff member displayed Georgia's true sense of hospitality of feeling part of a 'family.' Even though all of your staff were wonderful. There are two members that were exceptional. After a very long ten-hour drive from Tamarac/Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, upon entering the lobby, I was greeted at the front desk by your Operations Manager, Jheene Christian - what a warm greeting, too! She truly made me feel at home, more like part of a big family rather than just 'a guest' During the check-in process, I found out that Ms. Christian and I were both from South Florida. She was from the neighboring city of Coral Springs - a small world! Her outgoing, warm and friendly personality made a boring procedure very enjoyable. Later that evening, at the bar, while she was preparing drinks for four other guests and for yourself, we chatted for a few minutes. Again, she was very down-to-earth. Then, today, she and I spoke again. Ms. Christian was always a great host. Whenever I walked by the front desk with my dog, she greeted me by my first name, and my dog, too! The little extra touch goes a very long way. Then, later, on Tuesday, at the bar, I was greeted by DeStinee, the Administrative Manager/Bartender. She, too, displayed true "Georgia Hospitality." She was very knowledgeable of both the drinks and the food menu. When I inquired, she offered me suggestions on entrees which were 'right on target!' Later, DeStinee even gave me insights on how best get around on MARTA which were extremely practical and helpful to me the next day. So, Ms. Villanueva-Miller, you have an excellent staff, especially in both Ms. Christian and DeStinee. So, I praise you on your hiring choices. Please continue on with what you are doing, hopefully, other Staybridge Suites will catch on. Oh, lastly, whoever wrote wordage on your website should also be commended because due to your website I stayed at Staybridge over the Kempton Overland Hotel where I actually had reservations, but later cancelled to stay here. -------------- There were a few suggestions I stated later: Be able to charge to your room rather than pay for food and beverages as you obtain them. Install a grip bar in the shower. Have a night light in the bathroom.
