i've traveled all over the United States as well as overseas and I can honestly say this is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had to eat. The chips are fresh made and we're great. The salsa is awesome. I ordered the three hard tacos, which were awesome as well. I had it with refried beans and rice. Everything was fresh and the portions were great. The service was awesome very friendly and welcoming the place. May you not look the greatest on the outside, but believe me the food was awesome. We usually stop in at Posados when we make a weekend getaway to Bossier City. Usually the food and service are exemplary but our trip in July of 2024 was a disaster. I have never met a ruder server than the one we had. This woman screamed at us across the restaurant asking "Whatchu want to drink." Not coming up to us, not greeting us which is weird because our table was right next to the kitchen. She brought our drinks and left one out and we requested for the sweet tea that she forgot and the server got right up in my Father's face and rudely snapped at him "I have to go back to the kitchen to get it" then she threw her hands up as she walked away. We were not rude in anyway because I've been a server before and know what servers go through but this woman was on another level of sour. The rudeness from her was absolutely ridiculous. Never in my life have I ever seen such a pisspoor attitude from someone in customer service. If this is the type of people they hire, then we will not be back and will take our business across the street to Ralph & Kacoo's. read more

This is a bit of a mixed review. I was craving some Mexican food and thought Posados sounds good. Ordered online for pick up. Interior was clean, staff were polite and helpful. The chicken and beef enchiladas were tasty. Rice and beans were good too. However, I ordered a bowl of tortilla soup that was ridiculously terrible. Watered down and mostly chicken broth with soggy tortilla strips. I couldn't eat more than two bites. Please fix it. read more

It's a tradition for our little group to stop here after we've visited Splash Kingdom-it's on the way home It never disappoints! We love the chips, light and crispy, freshly made tortillas, and the salsa. We opted for cheese dip this trip because the kids were starving. Most everyone ordered enchiladas, tacos, street tacos, and chimichangas. Someone ventured out and orders the chili relleno-battered and fried, and someone else got the shrimp and rice. No regrets! All were cooked to order and delivered within 20 minutes of placing our order. Our server was attentive, but didn't hover. She kept drinks filled and dropped extra napkins by our table. Just thought it fair to update this review. The Mrs and I gave it another shot today for lunch and it was a totally different and positive experience. Don't waste your money! Dined Wednesday evening around 4:30 pm. Host asked us if we wanted to near a tv. He grumbled and sat us near one anyway. Then he proceeded to insult our 5yr old by calling her small. (She is 96th percentile in height for her age). The food was poorly prepared. Rice was not cooked properly. Beans were undercooked. Our server never bothered to check on us. This was not our first visit but it will be our last. After two days, we still regret eating there. I urge everyone to do the same. This place used to be staple of my life. I don't know what happened but the food is virtually inedible. Received a plate of cheese enchiladas with hard cold shredded cheese. Sent them back twice before getting a semi acceptable cheese enchilada. 10 people in my party, 10 lackluster disappointing plates of food. Á la Clint Eastwood, this place definitely had the good, the bad, and the ugly. The good: service was good! Our server was pretty attentive, and made sure to check on us multiple times. Our food came out quickly, too The bad: The food is mediocre at best. My friend had the chicken burrito bowl, and I had the shrimp nachos. Somehow, her fresh avocado had more flavor than my guacamole. The shrimp was fine, if a little cold compared to the rest of the dish. Her bowl was also all right - nothing to write home about, that's for sure. The ugly: While waiting for our food, one of the busboys came to clean the table directly next to us. The tables are definitely not spaced 6 feet apart, because my friend was sprayed almost directly with bleach. Her (purchased that morning) shirt sleeve was stained before we left the restaurant. We did let the server know, but since there isn't much to do about a bleached shirt, there was no real resolution. Overall, I'd recommend saving your money; it's a cute building with good service, but not much else going for it. read more

This is the worst restaurant I have been to in a long time. It's filthy. The bathrooms are disgusting and when you look at the kitchen area, it's gross. The chips are awful and the salsa was gross and questionable to eat. I ordered the nachos and they were soggy when they got to the table. We got the queso and it had gritty white things in it and it already had a film on it when it arrived to the table. We didn't finish our food and we didn't get it to go. read more

I brought my extended family here as we were in town and had previously eaten at Posados over the years and had always had a good experience. Not this time. This time was a complete disaster. This had nothing to do with the service which was great. This had to do with the quality and quantity of food. Granted this was lunch portions but I actually asked if I had ordered off the kiddie menu. The entire quesadilla I had ordered could basically fit in one hand. We also had two orders of nachos. The nachos had tiny pieces of meat (smaller than sugar cube size) and barely any cheese on them. There were about 10 chips per plate. This was absolutely ridiculous for $7 a plate. I can guarantee you I will never step foot in this place again. Both the quality and quantity of food is severely lacking. read more

This is a better than average Tex-mex place, with soft serve ice cream. Service is fast and friendly. Fajitas are kind of expensive but tasty. I had the "beef" fajitas, which were excellent. I also sat at the bar, which has a few smaller TVs, which was good for watching some b-ball. And on a Monday evening, it was busy but not crowded. Went in for lunch and was met by a wonderful hostess, Michelle. I was seated and quickly greeted by my server who was amazing. I ordered the two puffy tacos and wasn't impressed. The food is excellent, it is still hot when I make it home and they always have the freshest chips and salsa, and the ladies in the restaurant are always very friendly! This place has gone so far down hill it's underground. You shouldn't have to ask your server 2 or 3 times for her to bring you what you ask for, while she takes extra care of the table next to you. Great experience with service recovery. We had a small miscommunication with our waiter on the location of the free sopapillas. We thought they were on the way out. The staff, including the manager, guided us back to our table and brought a fresh batch to us. Super soft and delicious sopapillas! Our waiter was young but sharp. He took our orders by memory including mine which was pretty specific and repeated all four orders back to us before heading to the kitchen. The food was great. Served hot and just to order. I had the two chimichangas; beef with cheese sauce and chicken with the sour cream sauce. I highly recommend the sour cream sauce. This was a very good restaraunt. Lots of things on the wall. Nice seating. Fast seating. Pleasent people. Our waiteress was daisy. A good waiteress. We had some chips and salsa before the meal. Even though we arrived at 6 pm we were quickly seated in a comfortable booth that we requested. The table was sticky but the restaurant looked clean otherwise. We were served hot chips that were crunchy but rather delicate so they didn't hold up to a good dip of salsa. The salsa was excellent- not too spicy. We ordered house dressing to dip chips into, also. Towards the end of the basket it was mostly crumbs. Our server brought extra salsa, but did not refresh the basket of chips. Our server was attentive and quickly took our order. While waiting, she brought complimentary piping hot flour tortillas that are made on premises. One can even watch as they are cooking. The only downside is they are served with liquid margarine instead of butter. Before we filled up on chips, our food was served. I ordered chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce which were just average. I prefer the chicken to be more shredded with more spices. The sour cream sauce was minimal. The enchiladas were plain to me. Refried Beans and rice were served with the enchiladas. This entree was plentiful! My date ordered one cheese and one one beef enchilada with chili on top. His food was much tastier. Perfectly seasoned and plentiful! After our meal we were offered complimentary piping hot sopapillas. I prefer mine well done so our server cooked ours herself.
