Total let down.

We ordered lunch for my job, and I must say this was by far the worst it has ever been. I ordered a Founder with extra onions and mushrooms. No extra and it tasted dry. Also, ordered primo queso, no beef in it at all and the guacamole was just horrible. I am not sure what was going on today but this was not my best experience.

This is really a 3.5 star review. So this was refreshing to see! Driving down Pierremont Road, sitting at the stop light, I look to my right and see a place called Dillas. Make a mental note to search it and I'm glad I did! Dillas is a quesadilla shop. We always see taco places and burritos get all the love but it's time for them to get some recognition, too! Dillas has options of all types including not a dilla (which is your favorite dilla option but as a salad), and a build your own option but I decided on the Lonestar (smoked brisket, fresh red onion, cilantro, bbq sauce, cheese blend and jalapeño ranch) w/ chips and queso (the two come as separate sides in a combo) and a chocolate chip cookie (not pictured). The quesadilla was surprisingly very good. All the flavors were perfect together. I had to ask for another batch of chips as the ones they gave me were a little stale but they gave me a fresh batch that was much better. The seasoning on the chips wasn't overpowering or overwhelming and went well with both dips. The queso was very good. Not too thick, not too runny. The cookie was a basic Mrs. Fields cookie but it was cool too. Dillas also has other options like Gorilla Fries (seasoned fries drenched in queso, you can also add toppings to it) or even, Gorilla Nachos (same as above). You can also get the regular seasoned fries as a side, or choose between chips, queso, citrus corn salad or cilantro lime black beans. Dillas has locations in North Louisiana and Texas. Parking is a breeze as they're just in the Towne Oak Square plaza. They offer dine-in, carry out, order online and catering. All in all, next time I'm home I can't wait to try a different Dilla!

Lone Star quesadilla with bar-b-que sauce and cilantro dipping sauce

Taking my co-work's advice, a friend and I stopped in for lunch. Staff was strictly there to take an order--nothing more. The dining area was clean and people came and went the entire time we were there. The Lone Star quesadilla was good. The sauces were excellent, especially the cilantro dipping sauce. A bit pricey ($8) for a single tortilla folded and cut, it did fill me up and seem satisfying until the indigestion. Mistake! I think this is a good spot for younger diners or a quick something to eat.

So my husband and I just left Dillas and we were impressed. It's only been open for 4 days and like all new places there's a few kinks to get out, but y'all.....customer service was outstanding. The staff was friendly and more than accommodating. If something's missing or not right with your order, they will happily fix it. The food was absolutely delicious. The queso is an MUST TRY! I could of ordered 3 more cups! I got the chicken plain-o and my husband got the steak plain-o and they were also really good. You can tell all the sauces, queso, and quesadillas are made with fresh ingredients. None of that frozen stuff. I would highly recommend checking it out. Laid back atmosphere, amazing food, and staff that cares- what more do you need?!

Dillas came to The 2019 Lager Jogger at Great Raft and we decided to try them for dinner. We ordered The Founder & The Lone Star. Both were good but you must order GORILLA style because it's worth the value if you're hungry or you can split it and be content. The Lone Star was my favorite. I'd go back and try another. Just basic quesadillas but the dipping sauces really help. They deserve 3.5 stars

First time at Dilla's....

Today was my 3rd visit. Generally I've been pleased with all things Dillas, but today the brisket felt and tasted like an old shoe. Rubbery and makes you want to gag when you bite down on it. I'm hoping it was just a fluke and I'll come back soon just to be sure. Otherwise, the sides were good and the fountain soda was, well, a soda.

Can't go wrong with a quesadilla. Variety of options to choose from. Today I was just grabbing a quick bite to eat so I got the bluebonnet quesadilla. I got the half order of one and it was more than enough. This was made with spinach, mushrooms, cheese, and onions. Great vegetarian option. The dipping sauce was really good even though I'm not sure what it was. I'll be trying different quesadillas from here :)

Always great. I've only ever ordered the Founder because it does the trick for me. Fries are the best in town! Clean restaurant, good food and fairly priced. Perfect combination.

My husband and I typically recognize Taco Tuesdays by eating [Mexican] food. He decided to try someplace we had never been to. So he went to Dillas Quesidillas on Pierremont. Tickled my tastebuds. I had the Gorilla sized Lone Star. YUM-MY! That jalapeno ranch sauce is special (flavorful but lacked heat). The brisket was tender and the bbq sauce was excellent. You will definitely enjoy it AND get your money's worth.

It's hard to tell, but these are two chicken quesadillas.

Tasty, easy, quick. As far as fast food goes, I'd come here over Taco Bell any day. Great service, nice open location.

After taking a couple minutes to decide. I chose the shrimp poboy. It was delivered at 12:05, with the tails on. Before I could eat, I had to pull them off. It was fantastic. So I guess I'll be okay. By 12:20 I was cashing out lunch for one $20. They issued a 20% discount for my military id.

When in Shreveport on a Monday, your dining options are...limited (unless you fancy a casino…read moredinner, which we did not). So, we ended up here--the only place open that wasn't serving up blackjack with a side of fries. First up: water. Now, if you've never had Louisiana tap water, let me tell you--it tastes like someone steeped a bag of potting soil in it for 12 hours. I was about to blame this restaurant until a little Google dive informed me that most of Louisiana water just tastes like this due to geosmin and MIB (algae bloom byproducts, apparently). Fun fact that nobody asked for, but here we are. Anyway, we pivoted HARD to cocktails. I ordered a Belvedere martini, which was well-made by Dustin but oddly expensive considering this wasn't exactly a swanky downtown hotspot. For dinner: Hubbs went for shrimp fettuccine, and while it was fine, it didn't exactly make us want to write home about it. I, on the other hand, ordered Natchitoches meat pies, thinking they'd be the real deal imported from the famous place there. Oh, how naive I was. Instead, they were sad little impostors, baked instead of fried, and just...meh. Final bill: almost $100 for four drinks and two average entrées. If we're dropping that kinda cash, I'd prefer a meal that didn't require an emergency cocktail switch just to recover from the water.

Some places don't just feed you -- they stay with you…read more Today I walked into this little restaurant and instantly felt at ease, like it was already familiar somehow. The room was beautiful in a quiet, elegant way, thoughtfully put together, warm and welcoming. And the people... every single waitress greeted us with kindness, but Miss Tammy -- oh, she was something special. The kind of person who makes you feel like you've known her forever. So sweet, so genuine, the kind of service you don't forget. The food came out and from the very first bite, it was clear this was a place that cooks with love. The eggs, the omelet, the French toast -- everything tasted like comfort. And then there was the millionaire bacon -- perfectly caramelized with brown sugar and just a touch of chili flakes. Sweet, smoky, with a gentle heat that teased your taste buds like heaven. Absolutely unforgettable. The portions were generous in the best way, and the prices were more than fair, especially for a breakfast that leaves you full and happy. But listen... the coffee. That coffee wrapped around you like a warm blanket. And then came the meat pies -- crispy, flavorful, absolutely unforgettable. Paired with those potatoes -- golden and crisp on the outside, soft and tender on the inside -- perfectly made, just the way they should be. The owner was there today too, sitting with friends, laughing and enjoying himself, and somehow that made the place feel even more real -- like you were stepping into a slice of everyday life, not just a restaurant. If you're looking for a true southern breakfast, a place with heart, warmth, and soul -- this is it. This is where you go when you want to feel something, not just eat. We'll be back. Without a doubt. And Miss Tammy -- thank you. You made the day brighter than you know.

Ordered our food at that time. We checked in at the 40 minute mark and come to find out that our food still wasn't ready. Apparently the waiter put the order in on the wrong name - so that had to be fixed. And then when it was fixed they had a large party in front of ours that needed to be prepared first before ours. Needless to say we have now been sitting in this restaurant for over an hour with a cup of coffee and no food. If you want a quick breakfast spot, this is not the place. I would not recommend coming here with children because I cannot imagine them waiting patiently for an hour for breakfast. I have yet to receive our food even after writing this long review. But any place where you have to wait this long to get some eggs and a pancake I cannot recommend.
